Safari 5 Developer Tools Not Working (Windows 7)

I can't get the Safari developer tools to work. I have enabled the "Develop" menu option, but none of the tools display.I added the "Web Inspector" button to my toolbar, but the "Web Inspector" does not display.If I right-click on a page element and choose "Inspect Element" nothing happens.I have uninstalled, and reinstalled Safari and rebooted yet none of the developer tools will display.I checked and Javascript is enabled and popups are allowed.

I installed Windows 7 a few months ago. I started having problems soon after. So I reinstalled Win 7, Friday. The same problems continued. One that my son found was when we installed Spy Sweeper. That made it impossible to switch between users, so we uninstalled it. The other major problem has been the Developer's Tools window that pops up when I try to type any reply or information into any program on the internet. I can't get rid of it by hitting the X. After about an hour on the computer, that stops. Does anyone have an idea on what could cause this?

I have just re-installed Apple's Safari browser, from here Apple - Safari - Download the worldand I cant get it to run. It appears to install and then when I run it I get "Safari has stopped working" and "A problem has cause the program to stop working correctly/ Windows will close the programe an notify you if a solution is available [Close Program]"

I have not the Search tool in the Star menu and libraries, just in IE. I have checked the tutorial here, I did everything I checked the box and it's ticked, I don't understand the reason which the Search tool is not working when I accept the changes and it starts to make the changes but at the end a message pops-up and says that some of the features did not change correctly I don't understand what's going on.

I have Windows 7 (64bit) and IE 9 brower installed. I'm looking to acquire iPhone 4G S. Apple wants to install Safari as browser. Does this replace my IE, or can I have both co-exist? Must I do this to have full range of services on iPhone? What are the gotchas with this?

I am going to reinstall Windows 7 on my computer as soon as the RTM will leak and this time I am going with 64 bit actually the first time i use 64 bit. I am using safari 4 right now in 32 bit and i thinks it´s working pretty good. But when i re install i want a browser that´s 64 bit compatible.
Is Safari 4 64-bit compatible? Or should I use another browser?

my browsers (i.e. 9, ff and safari) are all blocking gmail. they were blocking google and Internet before, but now these sites are loading normally, but gmail still is blocked. i've ran malawarebytes and combofix (i know now i should not have done it, just followed bad advice online) without trouble but without further success, malaware at the beginning cleaned some files and combofix removed a couple of files, i have the logs to post. i've checked the hosts file, and it looks like it is correct.

I am a Developer/Tester and have just begun setting up my new laptop (its a high-spec gaming laptop).I am paranoid about viruses and worried about my machine getting to cluttered with unused software, so I was planning on setting up/using my PC as follows:
-One 'Admin' account This will pretty much be untouched.
-One 'Standard' User account this will be my main account that I log in to everyday
-Virtual Machines
*I will install Virtual Box on the Standard User Account.
*I will use a VM for random surfing, I would like to do this from a VM to reduce the risk of being affected from a virus.
This VM will probably be a linux flavour (e.g ubuntu).
*I wil have a seperate VM that I use just for online banking and checking email - also probably be a linux flavour.
*I will have different Virtual machines for different projects Im working on, because I like to keep my environments seperate. I can also install and play with new software and then revert back to a snapshot when I'm done. These will be mainly Windows VMs.This is my first high-spec machine where I can comfortable run several VMs.

We have used Compaq DVF 6.6 for many years and for many projects on win 2000 and XP 32 bit PC without problem. We encountered two problems with Compaq fortran developer studio after use windows 7 on 32bit desktop PC:
1. It cannot do debug run. Message said 'cannot find .DLL, re-install DVF'
2. It cannot generate a new workspace anymore. Message said 'cannot find directory'

My computer is installed with a legal copy of MS Windows 7, SP 1. My hardware is an AMD Phenom II 3.30 GHz with 8 GB RAM and I am installing to a 10 GB partition. I am currently attempting to install from the Administrator account, though I have also made the attempt from a user account.I have the file jdk-6u24-windows-x64.exe that I activate. This gives me the Windows prompt "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?" When I select "Yes," the screen immediately goes back to viewing the folder and nothing else happens.I just now used Revo to uninstall everything remotely related to Java from my list of installed software. This has not had any affect on my Java installation efforts, though I did get a notice that I would no longer receive a prompt for automatic updates to Java (those never worked, anyway).I built this computer at the beginning of this year, but I have never been able to install a Java compiler to it. I need this to work because I am struggling to pass Java classes that are required for me to graduate with an AS degree in Computer Science.

My Tungsten e2 has no desktop software working in Win7. I'm at a loss.Also, before I upgraded from XP Home, my address database failed repeatedly to sync. I finally diagnosed it as erroneous record ends in the database. I am not sure how to get Win7 compatible software tools to fix this.

Whenever I try to open any browser except IE (Mozilla/Chrome/Opera) or even any Windows System Tools like msconfig, cmd, system information or even System Restore, an alert box is popped up saying :
'The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program'
I have tried all the antivirus and malware removal tools available and the problem remains. I don't want to reinstall my windows!

My question is this: Is there a tool available that I can run on the server that will test all machines on my network? With the free Windows Upgrade Advisor, I must visit each computer. I've reinstalled my Windows 7 because of a hard drive curruption/blue screen of death. When I reinstalled Windows I realized that I didn't have my Gateway Tools installed. I needed the Gateway updater to update my Gateway drivers and I also realized the Gateway logo isn't shown anymore on the Windows 7 properties. My Microsoft Speed Score is lower than before for some odd reason (4.9 - 3.6 with the latest Intel driver) and I my computer's fan is louder and is heating up faster than before. I am a new user of Windows 7 and so far I am fairly impressed. However, I am now having problems trying to do something that just seems natural for Windows to be doing.
I have some digital images that I want to post on another forum. That forum has a size limitation. My images are too large.
Does Windows 7 provide me the tools to resize those images and save them back into either their source folder or to another location.

we have recently bought a new desktop, using wireless, and when the computer is left idle for a short while it goes offlines, the pop up to go back on line comes up, click on it but it is still off line, have to keep restarting the computer! Some forums have said click on tools, then select "work offline" and untick it - I can't find this option in tools.
