I have gone through the process of trying to figure out my BSOD problems. I ended up reinstalling Windows 7. After installing the latest drivers for everything I thought I had the problem solved.. not so much. The problems are still plaguing me, so I find myself here.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently changed the cabinet of my computer and since then I've been getting freezes and BSODS, when it freezes it just gets stuck at whatever I'm doing and makes a buzzing noise through the speakers. I haven't had time to read the error codes when I get the BSODS, it reboots to fast. The freezes/BSODS appear to happen more frequently when gaming, but it also occurs when I'm just browsing. have Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and have tried reinstalling it but it didn't help.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm going crazy trying to find out whats wrong with my computer. It is brand new, and I payed a lot of money for it so I'm rather frustrated that I'm having so many issues in my first month owning it. The Bluescreens seem to happen completely randomly and since it is a new computer and I've installed drivers for quite a few pieces of hardware I dont know where to start. A lot of the minidumps havnt been saved from the looks of things too but I have provided the 3 that were.I've been using the computer for gaming, internet browsing and a little bit of video editing/recording. I have returned to the computer twice so far to see it had bluescreened while idle (with internet browser and chat programs running). I have had a few days where there was no bluescreen but they seem to happen generally once a day. The one tonight I was playing battlefield 3, then the game crashed (after checking event logs around the time my game crashed there is a Warning report saying "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.") then a few minutes later the computer bluescreens and restarts.
I think I've been having these BSOD's since I recieved the computer and I have contacted Arbico twice about it. The first time was a brief email saying I'm having BSODs and dont know what to do, then the second I phoned up and the bloke on the phone said it sounded like an issue with my SSD and that I'm not the only one thats been having the issue. He then told me it was a driver issue and sent me IA STOR SSD ISSUE REG UPDATE to try (I have added it to an attachment in this post). I ran that and continued to get BSODs. After that I went to the SSD's website and installed the latest firmware. For a day or two it seemed to help, but then I bluescreened again.[CODE]
New PC, and I'm getting BSOD randomly when the computer is idleing followed by a restart, before 11th of Dec there used to be 5 or 6 restarts a day, but after that time I updated windows 7 and now I'm getting 1 or 2 a day. I ran memtest for a 7 pass test and showed no errors. My Windows 7 is - x64 - Ultimate installed by myself. - Full retail version. - Age of system (hardware)? 1 month old. - Age of OS installation? 1 month old.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWithin the past week I've been getting numerous BSOD crashes. I've had some in the past that were related to the video card. Replaced the video card with a NOS replacement. That seemed to cure that problem. Three months later here I go again.

My system has been getting random Blue Screens while I play games. It's completely random. I may go a full day without a crash, or it may happen 2 or 3 times in a few hours. It's happened on multiple games, but only while gaming. I read on a forum entry that Daemon tools, can cause this, and have uninstalled it. It seemed to fix it, but then it just happened again recently. It has primarily happened while playing Fallout 3 and the Path of Exile Beta, but those have really been the only 2 games I've been playing recently. System specs are:

I have been having multiple BSOD over the past few weeks at random points, sometimes under load while playing games other times just when the machine is idle or simply logging into windows..I am running 16GB of Corsair Vengeance ram (2x8GB kits, so 4x4gb sticks in total) I have run memtest overnight with all chips in, just the one set (tested both sets) and also each chip individually with no errors. I have also swapped the chips into different slots and still getting BSOD.I have checked the BIOS and all memory config and voltages are as per spec. I have also monitored my voltages from PSU and those are within the acceptable ranges. Temps have been good aswell with CPU idel at aroun 30 with a max of 65 (Core i7 2500K) GPU's are running between 30 - 80 degree's (GTX 580's in SLI)I have also tried updating drivers but still cant shake these nasty BSOD's

Lots of page views, but not a single piece of help or advice and quickly buried under tons of other BSOD threads. View 18 Replies View RelatedMy computer has been experiencing crashes daily for a while now, and I strongly suspect my power supply is the problem, but I do not have very much experience with this problem. My computer will just crash without any warning whatsoever when I play TF2, Nexuiz, or any other game for that matter. I could be playing for anywhere from 20 minutes to 3 hours and get a crash at any point in between. Who Crashed and BlueScreenView point out ntoskrnl.exe more than any other driver, but occasionally it will point out my graphics driver, lan driver, or directx itself.

First noticed while experimenting with Aion, a few days later it also occurs with Star Wars: The Old Republic, something it hadn't done before. The program files don't include any duplicate files (which I thought may be a problem. Aion did have a duplicate initially, and the deletion of this file appeared to fix the problem, though it returned the next day. Further research has indicated that the CPU maybe overheating, or the the PSU is failing. I'm not "techy" enough to know if it is the PSU, when the computer shuts down, there is no warning, just a black screen and then the keyboard lights and fans stop running roughly 5s afterwards.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi have a system which i got 1 month ago and it was stable and good till recently i started getting BSOD at random times , i tried to update my bios as most were saying but i couldnt because whenever i click on bios update utilite i get black screen! with no respond (i tried the updating from bios not windows Asus dont offer bios update from inside windows ) however . i noticed i get this bluescreen often when playing shogun 2 but in general i still get BSOD when doing other stuff at random times (ex: other games/work on office package) also sometimes when i play other games i either get BSOD or a sudden system lag where everything stops with a noisy sound coming from my speaker.
btw : in my BSOD i get the famous physical memory dump 100% line at the bottom
and i also updated my graphics drivers and rolled back to the old stable one but with no use
I started getting BSOD two weeks ago. As far as I can remember the first time I had a BSOD was on the day I installed Max Payne 3 (I read somewhere that the some guy had also this problem when he installed max payne). There were two occasions that I got a BSOD upon starting Max Payne 3. But lately I'm getting BSOD when doing low-load stuffs like browsing with no other apps opened. I've already done memtest with 10 passes with no errors. I'm 24 hours prime95 stable. I just don't get it! I've manually set my timings for my ram. I'm not doing any overclock. Everything is on stock settings.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince the 7th, I've been getting crashes whenever I leave my PC idle for a long amount of time, from WhoCrashed, it appears to be different error codes every time.
So far, I've tried:
-Checking for driver updates
-Running a disc check on both of my hard drives
-Running a system scan
And I'm just about to run Memtest on my ram sticks.
My specs are:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit OEM (No reinstall since I got my rig ~Jan 2011)
AMD Phenom II X4 925 (at 3.15ghz)
4x2 GB RAM (Replaced since August 2011)
Purchased the computer late Oct 2011, only 2 month old when system would randomly blue screen and restart at regular interval (about couple times within few hours of each other every 9-10 days). View 1 Replies View RelatedA couple of days ago I did something really stupid: I tried to download a game for free by following a tutorial which required me to install a Babylon toolbar from an ad. It didn't work, so I uninstalled all the babylon stuff and scanned my computer with Avira and Ad-aware, they came up with some detections and a hidden object and removed them.After that, I bought the game instead of downloading. However, my computer now randomly freezes when playing and seems slightly slower than before. As long as I'm not gaming, my computer functions normally, but starting the game makes my computer freeze and BSOD every 2 out of 3 times. Also my computer doesn't seem to make any minidumps, even after enabling it via those settings and trying tons of other ways.

Basically what happens is it will freeze seemingly at random times (at first I thought it was firefox, but I just got it again using google chrome... I'm not sure if its related to browsing the internet or not) and the computer will, after a short period of time, become completely unresponsive. I can't even load task manager so the only way to turn of the computer is with the power button. One of the times my computer freezed I got a BSOD and it said "driver power state failure". I took a picture of it and I can provide the other information too if you need me too. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been having random crashes after setting up a new computer. At first the computer crashed when an external hdd was connected to the pc, but now it happens at random. When the computer restarts I get this error: chainloader/Bootmgr - error 15: file not found and my hdd is missing in bios. Also i have seen this error at startup: The system has experienced boot failures because of overclocking, but i haven�t done any overclocking. To make matters worse my net browser sometimes crashes and i get this message: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and was recovered.

Suddenly my computer could just black out, looks like it is turning itself off, but not completely. The fans is still running, but can't use the computer and the screen is black.And yesterday I got a BSOD also. I saw a post about using Avast, which I was and have removed, and started using MSE.When I removed it, my computer ran about 6 days straight with no problems so I thought maybe that fixed it. However, I had a BSOD this morning when I got up and have had about 3 more in just the last hour.I do need to say that when I got this motherboard the IDE did not work. I didn't think much of it since I wasn't going to be using it. I know, I should have sent it back so that was my mistake. The OS is about 6 months old and the rest of the hardware, except for the video card, is about 1 1/2 years old. The VC is around 10 months old. I've also tried updating and rolling back drivers without success.

My computer has always randomly shut down either when in use or not in use or even if I was using it to send videos to my ps3 to watch on tv. So I called the tech guys at dell to see if there was some kind of issue to be concerned with about my pc restarting, after three separate techs doing tests and what not, my computer boots games up perfectly well, but as soon as I get into the game and start trying to play, the game lags soooooo much that they are no longer playable.
