View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having issues with several computers now. All of them Windows 7 Professional 32 bits. The error they're having is the same on each PC: explorer.exe fails and restarts after clicking Ok to the dialog.

I already ran viruschecks and spywarescans. Clean booted. sfc'd. Uninstalled all updates since the week previous to the first error. Created a fresh new profile for the user. Disabled all non-Microsoft shell extensions. Reinstalled Windows. and non on them had made a difference.
The oldest issue is november 6th (there's not a single instance of the error before that date); since then, the issue is happening at least once a day but more like 5-10 times a day. I ran Windbg and for almost all errors it points to "fundisc" module as the culprit, although i don't know what piece of software would be using it. The only updates they had installed are security and critical updates via WSUS.

That comes up when I start up 7, it happened after I un-installed MaAfee 8-in1 then that came up
When I log into my computer, I get the following error message " There was a problem starting C:UsersOl-Scurt-DoggAppDataLocaluictaner.dll The specific module could not be found. ". I have searched and searched and searched for this error with no success except for registry cleaners/fixers that of course require my credit card to do the full fix.I do understand what the DLL is and what it does but also know how critical it is to be exact when dealing with the registry. Can anyone give me a straight forward resolution for this issue?

I'm having problems connecting some devices (android apps) to my computer via my wi-fi. I am usually able to solve the problem by running network diagnostics, but after awhile, I'll start having network connectivity problems again.
Whenever I run diagnostics in these situations, this error is shown in Event Viewer:
"WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped.
Module Path: C:\Windows\system32\athihvs."
I also receive the error (in event viewer) on a fairly regular basis:
"Your computer was not assigned an address from the network (by the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0x2225D3CC6415. The following error occurred: 0x79. Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server."
I have checked, and my router and WLAN card drivers are both up to date. I'm wondering if these errors are what is causing my app to lose connection?
In the last few months I have been getting error messages in my Yahoo mail account. It will not go to next email and returns an 'Error Code 5' or recently an 'Error Code 15'. It says "Sorry for the inconvenience. You have stumbled upon an unexpected, temporary problem." This happens every other email. What are these codes and why is this happening?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi recently got a computer from my aunt, and decided to put windows 7 on it. Before I installed it, I put in a Geforce 8800 graphics card and a (2nd) cd rom drive. After 20 failed attempts to install windows 7 (it kept freezing at the completing installation part) it worked after i disconnected the new graphics card and one of the hard drives. Now, however, i keep on getting periodic blue screens with the following error messages : Memory Management, and PFN_List Corrupt. I ran a memory diagnostic and it said that the memory is fine. View 8 Replies View RelatedFrom somewhere, somehow, a folder named "24cd9e4542d29590bce925ec30" has been created in my W7x86pro root dir. Trying to look inside, I had to "permanently get access". But then inside it, there are a whole lot of folders named things like 1025, 1028, 1029, etc, ending with 3076, and 3082. What's in those folders, I have no idea, since every time I try to open one, I first get the "You don't currently have permission to access this folder" dialog, and then when I click Continue, I get "You have been denied permission to access this folder".
Also inside the "24cd9e4542d29590bce925ec30" folder, there are files, like "Setup.exe" and "NDP40-KB2473228.msp" and "SetupEngine.dll" and some *.bmp and some other files. I guess that NDP40-KB2473228.msp gives away that this folder has something to do with some .NET framework update, but AFAIK, there's no .NET-anything installed on this computer. I want to remove the "24cd9e4542d29590bce925ec30" folder, but there seems to be no way I can get permission to do that. trying to get ownership or set access rights, all I get is "Access denied" or similar.
1. What those folders and files are doing there?
2. How do I remove them?
