Windows 7 Cd Doesn't Boot Properly
Jul 3, 2011The windows7 cd doesn't boots properly, i mean the first process of windows loading files is good and then starting windows, but then its just the backgroung of windows7 and no installation window pops up.I burned the image using ultra iso at 4x speed.I had a different CD and used that too but same prob appers again.But the problem doesn't ends there, now when i thought to install other cdburning software i get this "Windows cannot access the specified device,path, or file. You may not have appropriate permission to access the item."and its not that, anything i try to install, gives me this problem.Have this problem occured due to previous failure attempts to install windows7,although tecnically the installation never started.

May 7, 2011I updated Windows 7 64bit and it installed IE9 64bit. I used to be in IE8 64 or 32bit. I'm not sure. When on IE9 I had so much problems with flash player. So I uninstalled the updates to IE9.Now my IE8 doesn't fully work anymore. I updated Flash player, thinking that was the problem. Some thing with Internet Explorere (non-64bit)I play a lot of those Facebook applications like farmville and cityville. I can get to the game ok, but any popup within the game to ask request, don't work anymore.I am already using firefox for my other account, so I need IE working.

Jan 2, 2010I have a Windows 7 laptop connected via a WRT54G2 wireless router to an XP SP3 desktop. Both the laptop and desktop can see shared resources and both can connected to the internet.
In the Laptop's Network and Sharing Center, however, things are not correct. The Laptop has two connections to the router, lan and wireless. The lan's connection appears OK, but I cannot generate a map. I get "Windows cannot discover any computer or device." The wireless network is public.
I don't know why and I don't know how to change it. Also, when I try to create a new network connection, the laptop sees only a WRT160N router (which I don't have; perhaps I did a while ago, when the laptop ran Vista). No place to add a new one.
I have Cisco's Network Magic and it can correct see everything, including the right router.

Jul 3, 2012The strand thing that it's working perfectly in AIMP3 , but when I'm playing a movie in classic media player or YT video, only the center and right speakers are workinghe others have this weeird , super low delayed sound , barely Noticeable .This is my motherboard , maybe I've downloaded wrong drivers or something, but I'm pretty sure that before reinstalling my Windows 7, I had this user friendly configuration tweak with sound options . Now it seems to be gone .

Nov 15, 2010I recently installed Windows 7 on a brand new computer. Everything is working fine except I cannot connect to the Internet! I have been getting the following message:
"Local Area Connection" doesn't have a valid IP address
Thinking this was a Internet issue (as I'm using a brand new computer), I rang Virgin and they said it was an Ethernet Adapter issue.
The Network card I have is: Realtek PCIE FE Family Controller Could this be a conflict between Windows 7 and this network card?
Further details are computer (if this helps) are: Pentium Dual-Core CPU E6600 @ 3.06 GHZ ACPIx86 based PC The Windows 7 is a 32bit OS
Can't Fix "Local Area Connection" Doesn't Have A Valid IP Address?
Jun 8, 2010Internet randomly dropped out at around 5 PM yesterday and haven't gotten it working since. When I connect to another computer (which I'm posting on right now) it works fine. The problematic computer is running Windows 7 64 bit, this computer is running Vista. There is no router involved.I've tried rebooting, disabling/renabling the adapter, rolling back the driver, a system restore, searching services.msc for bonjour (didn't see anything suspicious), updating to the current nforce driver, and manually setting an IP configuration among other things. I did an /ipconfig all on the computer that is working and used those details on the first computer while manually entering the IP, gateway, etc infohis got rid of the "doesn't have a valid IP address" error... great, right? But it's replaced with a generic "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem." When set to automatically obtain IP address I get a 169.x IP. I've tried pretty much every solution I've ever seen posted regarding this issue and nothing's working.

View 5 Replies View Related'No Internet Access' IP Address Shows Router Not The Modem IP Address
Jul 7, 2012My internet connection shows 'no internet access' even though my ISP shows the connection is coming into the house just fine. I usually use a router (NetGear-WNR3500U) but I right now I have the Ethernet connection plugged directly into my PC. I tried directly plugging into my laptop and the internet works just fine. So I know the problem resides in the PC.
Some troubleshooting things I have tried.
-Power cycled my modem, router and PC.
-Repinged my connection from my ISP(Comcast Xfinity)
-Used the reset option on the router and the modem
-I was walked through the internet options needed with the tech support from my ISP to make sure DHCP was enabled and every other setting was correct, and he cleared me that all settings were correct.
-Tried ipconfig commands to /renew and /release my IP When I tried ipconfig /renew I get the error 'An error occurred while renewing interface Local Area Connection : unable to contact your DHCP server'
-Restored my PC to a restore point where the Internet was working
All of these options did not work.
What I think the problem is and I am not sure how to fix it, when I run the ipconfig /all command my Auto configuration IPv4 Address shows 169.254.112.76 which I was told is a router IP address even though I am plugged directly from the modem to my PC with an Ethernet cord. So I think that's my problem? But I am not sure.
