View 9 RepliesI want to start by saying that I love Windows 7. The only driver issue I have is with this Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 which I just purchased. I am on a 32-bit system and based on some of the things I've heard on here, they have had no trouble. Here are the issues that I've been having.
1) I try to install the Quickcam software and it does so successfully (also in compatibility mode), but once I try to use the software, it freezes up.
2) The camera always works but because I cannot use the software, I have not been able to record a video. I bought the camera so I could use Google Talk with my family and that's all I really care about.
3) The microphone does not work at all. Tested it in Sound Recorder.
Where I am now: I got Windows 7 to install the drivers but not to install the software. So in Device Manager it shows that everything is working properly. The main thing I want to work is the microphone so I have functionality with Google Talk.
I am using Windows 7 x64 build 7000. I have my Logitech Pro 9000 working fine apart from all the Quickcam controls Rightlight and zoom features disappear basically all the advanced controls for the webcam. How do I fix it?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm going to be buying either a Logitech Quickcam Sphere Webcam or a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000.
I'm currently running the x64 Windows 7 RTM, I'm worried that buying either webcam will result in no x64 drivers.
Can anyone tell me if both or either have x64 drivers?
OS: Windows 7 64bit Device: Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro
Maybe you guys might have some ideas in helping me solve this issue with a driver for a Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro.
Previously I got the webcam working by using this work around: Software Simple Blog Archive Logitech Quickcam for Notebooks Pro Webcam In Windows Vista and it worked fine no problems. That was when I had Windows 7 32bit installed.
Now that I am running the 64bit version things are proving a little tricky. I tried the same technique as I previously did for the 32bit but no luck.
Additionally I tried some of the methods listed in the other QuickCam Pro for Notebooks 9000 thread but no luck with that either. Of course the webcams are different, I was just hoping that the same principle might apply..
I have downloaded the Windows 7 Release Candidate and I enjoy it. However, I cannot seem to find Logitech QuickCam 4000 drivers that are compatible. Can anyone help me?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm on Windows7 64-bit... I've tried everything. Obviously there's no windows 7 drivers for this, so I tried to get the vista ones from the official website. The installer wouldn't even run, until I ran it through vista compatibility. They installed, but it didn't even react to when I plugged the camera in or not. So I tried finding other 64-bit drivers I could find on the net for the quickcam. They would install, and I would manually assign the drivers that match the camera, but then applications say that the 'webcam is in use' even though nothing was using it, obviously... so apparently, it does not work.

I merely want the capability to run the machine at its native resolution without having "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" listed in Device Manager.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem with my headset. Whenever i play a game or listen to music, after about 5-10 minutes the sound turns into gargled crap. Like a choppy, sputtering static noise. I'm using 'Digital Precision Headset' by Logitech. It has worked fine for me on XP, so i don't see what the problem could be. The driver sofware comes with windows, so logitech doesnt offer driver support for it. I did however un-plug/plug-in to see if windows(7) would reinstall the drivers. It did, but i still cant get them to work right. Which sucks for online gamming, because i dont have another mic to use.

I installed Windows 7 RC 7100 on my gaming rig a couple of months ago. All was well until I got to the Logitech Gaming drivers for my Rumblepad 2 and Force Feedback Racing Wheel. Using Vista x64 drivers my system crashed repeatedly (cant recall exact error message)
The logitech website says that most Vista drivers will not have any issues with Windows 7, however I am a little apprehensive about reformatting if the problem occurs again.
My questions are:
1. Is anybody else having the same probs?
2. Is there a solution to this?(apart from not installing Windows 7)
I really liked the the look and feel of Windows 7 however not being able to use game controllers on my gaming rig sort of defeats the purpose.
Got a Logitech (QuickCam) Webcam, logitech website says no drivers are available for Vista or Windows 7 and telling me do buy a new camera!
