Does anyone know if there are any compatibility problems with a Canon Pixma 9000 Mk II and Windows 7 Ultimate.I am considering the purchase of this printer, but wish to know if any additional information or software is needed for them to work without problems, as the blurb does not state that Windows 7 64Bit is compatible.

I'm going to be buying either a Logitech Quickcam Sphere Webcam or a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000.
I'm currently running the x64 Windows 7 RTM, I'm worried that buying either webcam will result in no x64 drivers.
Can anyone tell me if both or either have x64 drivers?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to start by saying that I love Windows 7. The only driver issue I have is with this Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 which I just purchased. I am on a 32-bit system and based on some of the things I've heard on here, they have had no trouble. Here are the issues that I've been having.
1) I try to install the Quickcam software and it does so successfully (also in compatibility mode), but once I try to use the software, it freezes up.
2) The camera always works but because I cannot use the software, I have not been able to record a video. I bought the camera so I could use Google Talk with my family and that's all I really care about.
3) The microphone does not work at all. Tested it in Sound Recorder.
Where I am now: I got Windows 7 to install the drivers but not to install the software. So in Device Manager it shows that everything is working properly. The main thing I want to work is the microphone so I have functionality with Google Talk.
I am using Windows 7 x64 build 7000. I have my Logitech Pro 9000 working fine apart from all the Quickcam controls Rightlight and zoom features disappear basically all the advanced controls for the webcam. How do I fix it?

I mounted a Vista x64 ISO-image/source, extracted the folder with the canon printer drivers and installed the Colorpass Z40e driver under Windows 7 x64. In my case I used this driver für a Canon Colorpass Z400e (Canon CLC 1100).
Extraxct :
- use 7zip
- under options check "wim"
- open the install.wim an verify your vista version (important if there is a 64bit and 32 bit version on the same DVD, in my case there was only a 64bit on the systembuilder DVD)
- choose the right folder and extract the canon printer driver folder with 7zip

Upgraded desktop to 64-bit and discovered that my Canon LiDe80 and Canon PIXMA iP4000 drivers are incompatible. So after some research and not sure how accurate, I read that the professional version would allow more of the 32-bit drivers to work.
Is that correct?

The program is still running and stuck at 21% but after waiting 3 hours I shut power off and Vista was reinstated. Why can't I get past 21% Expanding Windows files? View 6 Replies View RelatedA friend asked me to setup her new Windows 7 Home Premium machine and her old Dell Dimension 4700 with windows xp. She bought a Belkin FLIP USB with audio to accomplish this somewhat, however the windows 7 pc seems to be causing issues as far as i can tell. At random times the keyboard will not switch during a flip but you can flip again and it corrects.
It also would sometimes get the KB/mouse on one computer and the monitor on the other, which was not fixable by her. The only solution being to fully unplug the KVM and let it power down for a few seconds and then rehook it up to the running PCs. She's not really prepared to do that for a KVM that should be simple.
Belkin's website does not claim compatibility with Windows 7 or 64bit, so can anyone recommend a KVM that has "fully" compatible drivers for Windows 7 64bit? The belkin flip will generally work with a little troubleshooting despite it not being supported on win7 64, but she doesn't want to do "any troubleshooting" and just wants it to work all the time.
