View 4 Replies View Relatedwhenever I go into full-screen, whether it be in a game or a video, my screen(Sony TV) seems to get a bit of a shadow on everything.Like everything will have a gray outline of some sorts. If I change resolution(like going from 1920x1080 to something else and then back to 1920x1080) it becomes normal again. Changing the input of my TV also brings it back to normal. But it only happens when I go into fullscreen with something.I'm not exactly sure when this started happening though, all my drivers are also updated. So what could be causing this? It's rather annoying having to switch resolution or change the input to TV and then back to PC every time this happens.

View 0 Replies View RelatedI'm using Office 2010 on Windows 7 (64bit) with high contrast theme (white on black). When I select part of the text (in a word document, for instance) the selected text is highlighted with white background color. Is it possible to change the background color and the font color of the selected text?
It seems that changes made to the "Window" colors in the "Windows Color" dialog (accessible from personalization), have an impact on those colors which leads to the conclusion that those colors are computed based on those settings. I'm asking whether there is an option to modify selected text colors while still using black background and white text.
When i go into any chat rooms the size of text in the small in the small window which opens is very small. iv tried to Enlarge it but it stays the same but every thing else gets bigger.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOkay, so a friend of my dad told him that he used to see the folder icons and labels in the left pane of Outlook 2007 in a bigger font/size before switching to a new computer with Windows 7. Obviously, we all know that upgrading Windows won't change font sizes that are coded into independent programs, so I'm thinking that maybe his old computer was running at a lower resolution. Anywho, my dad's friend asked my dad to ask me this question, and since I don't use Office 2007 anymore, I need to ask you: is there a way to change the size of the folder icons and labels in the left pane of Outlook 2007, without changing the size of anything else?

When I call up the task manager, the white text is hard to read against the pale blue background. Is there a way to change either the text or the pale blue background. It nice 'nuff, but not enough contrast to read.
After recently switching to Windows 7 from xp after doing a reformatting on my hard drive, text and pictures look blurry and hard to read. I have gotten all the drivers for my monitor and video card as well. My current resolution is 1680x1050 and is the native resolution for my monitor. I honestly have no idea what happened since I've never had these problems on xp before.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Windows 7 and no matter if I am using Chrome or Internet Explorer, the color of the text that appears is so faint that it almost blends in with the background. Instead of black text, the text is like a gray color. It is so profoundly irritating I cannot stand it! It isnt like this on all websites. For instance, as I am typing this post. The text color is black and does not blend in with the white background. Although, it could have better resolution.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and installed a PDF software named PDFMate to convert my images to PDF file for work. It was easy and my Antivirus scanner didn't object or detect any threats (unlike some other JPG to PDF converter software I tried). The problem was that the PDFMate screen display was totally messy. Text was overwriting icons the BUILD button was half missing. Why did it happen?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk this is wierd I have a client using Office 2007 pro and some of her docs that she recently updated and the problem is when she prints the docs text that she deleted is printing over the top of new text she inserted into the doc.
Now when you have said doc open in WORD the deleted text is not there in any view and does NOT show in "print preview".
I opened said doc with WORDPAD and the deleted text shows up at the bottom so its still in the word doc somewhere imbedded so it prints over the top of the actual text in the doc.
I enabled PC Tablet Support in the windows features section of windows 7, but i still can't get windows to pop up that on screen keyboard icon that usually displays next to any type of data input fields. My windows is NOT installed on a tablet pc, but i recently connected a touch screen to my desktop and am hoping to get the same sort of functionality like my tablet edition of xp had.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a project where I need to search a large amount of text files on my home PC. I recently upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. My research indicated this feature was available in Windows 7.
If you do a search in Windows XP, you get a bunch of fields. You can pick to search for text INSIDE the particular sub folder structure.
I have found this feature in Windows 7, but it is different. I have tried using wild cards but it does not seem to work properly.
How do I insert my pictures inside the text or beside the text so it won't use so much space?

View 8 Replies View RelatedAll of the sudden, when I want to copy and paste something in the same document, the formatted text (whether that be a certain font or bold) does not transfer over to the pasted text. For instance, if I wanted to copy the following bolded word word and then paste it anywhere else in the document, I now get this: word (without the bold). This applies to other cutting and pasting problems: this applies to other fonts and formatting (bold, my Greek font, etc). One more example: before today, if I wanted to cut a text out of my New Testament Greek program right in the middle of a paragraph, the Greek font (or whatever font) would paste normally no matter what font the target MS Word text was in.
