I currently try to sort my lineups (Edit Favorite Lineups). The channel names are displayed but run out to the right (gradient). But if i sort them by name, I am not able to read the names anymore. The gradient will move to the first letter, so that even the first letter is only half displayed.
Does anyone can confirm this or may have a solution?
recently it came to my notice that i was running my RAM on single channel mode (2x2gb) on my dh67bl mobo. i saw it in cpu z and it showed single channel.
So, i changed my ram and placed it in identical slots and now the Cpu z shows dual channel RAM. but i don't see any visible difference in performance.
is there any performance difference in running the RAM in dual channel / single channel?

regarding the contacts being synchronized with Outlook. All my contacts have their first names under 'First Name', but their last names under 'Middle Name'. I want to copy the middle names of everyone to the 'Last Name' box. There are more than 700 contacts and I can't be doing this individually for each contact.

• Supports 2.5v DDR SDRAM.
I want to get dual channel ram. Can anyone tell me if they know it is guaranteed to work? Or do you need a special motherboard for dual channel?

For the first few weeks of using Windows 7 RC it seemed to work fine, but a few days ago the IR Receiver won't change the channel on my set top box (the IR booster doesn't do anything) I can't figure out what is wrong.
I just did a fresh install of windows 7 64bit and have a dual wintv t500 digital tuner card installed.Wmc is working fine apart from not displaying the channel listings (epg) The names of the channels are there but It just says "no data available" on every channel listing..Yet when i r click on the more info button, all the program guides/listings show up in that section But when i go back to the main guide screen there missing.
I want to Ask I have a television and a satelitte but I want to ask how can i recorder some events to my laptop ? do I need devices or something else ?

I have a keyboard with 1-5 labelled universal purpose keys. The software lets me bind various commands to them, either from a list, or a shell command. I would like these keys to 1. open WMC in Live TV mode (if not open) 2. change channel to the specified one (e.g. if I press "2", pop up channel 2, like a normal TV if I press a number on the remote).
I know the numpad can switch channels, but only if WMC is running and active.
And I know WMC has a command line inteface, which is very poorly documented.
For example, this command opens WMC in Live TV mode (with the last channel selected before it was closed): Code:
C:Windowsehomeehshell.exe "/mcesuperbar://tv?live=true" Does anybody have any clue how to achieve this?
I noticed that I was running in single channel config, so I decided to move my ram around to run in dual channel. On reboot it says its running in dual channel, but my system reboots continuosly after the loading screen. Works perfectly fine if I switch it back to single.
Do I need to edit something in BIOS to get this to work or am I better off just sticking to single channel?
I would like to upgrade my memory. I have a hp pavilion 6617c with dual channel ram. Can i use this : Patriot PSD34G13332 Signature 4GB PC10600 DDR3 Desktop Memory Upgrade - 1333MHz, 1x4096MB, CL9, Non-ECC, Unbuffered at TigerDirect? Is there any difference?
I am seeking an internal tv tuner as my 25" jvc tv is about to croak. Still has great picture, though. I have HP Pavillion desktop, Win 7 Home Premium, 3.0GHz, 4GB ram, 640GB hd, an open PCI Express slot on my motherboard. According to our local cable provider, I must use their DVR to locate channel, and for programmed recording. Thus the computer tuner would only be used on ch 3 or 4 (like in the old days) to connect with computer.
I haven't been able to tune in one particular OTA station using Windows Media Center. I am, however, able to tune it in just fine using Aver MediaCenter (the freebee application that came with my tuner) on the same PC. It's a local CBS station, channel 7.1. A multitude of other digital over-the-air stations (ABC, NBC, Fox, PBS, etc) come in just fine in both Windows Media Center and Aver MediaCenter. It's just that CBS station that won't play back in Windows Media Center.
is using the old channel line up. How can i get the new channel line on wmc? the channel lst is right on zaptoit. does it take a long time to get a updated channel lineup?
I woke up this morning to no internet access. After unplugging and plugging the modem back in, I had to wait a couple of minutes for the modem's lights to stop flashing. When they did the second light is lit blue. Never seen that before (usually green). I check 192.168.0.1 and I now have 4 channels listed in "downstream".My download/upload speeds are really fast now. Upload only went as high as 2.79 before.
is it possible to change an audio output with hot keys?for eg to play music through my headphones i use my xfi elite sound card and when i use my hifi speakers i use my onboard cards spdif out,to do this at the moment i have to go into playback devices and change default play back device, is there a way i can use say ctrl+alt+Q to do this?
Just bought a new set of desktop speakers. The volume and tone controls are on the right-side speaker. As I use my mouse, right handed, and the volume control more or less together for some work, this is a bit of a pain.
I can, of course, just move the speakers, but my son objects; for some videos and games, I guess it is important to have right-right, and left-left.
I have the Creative/Soundblaster audio setup. If I do interchange the speakers to the way I like, is there any option, anywhere, where I can have the left channel sound now going to the right speaker, and the right channel sound going to the left speaker ?
Creative, and the MS Audio options doesn't seem to have a way. I don't want to re-wire any plugs.
I had analyzed the network near my house and found many networks working on channel 1,6,11.... my router supports channel 13 ... I changed it to 13 and tried to connect my laptop...but the problem it cannot find the router in the range...However i used another laptop and it found the router. how to configure my wireless card on that laptop to support channel 13... I have entered on the Wireless network adapter and cannot find anything related to "Channel " that i can change it.
I'm hoping to be able to stream certain a certain program(s) to my HDTV. This cable provider we just switched to does not offer international channels (in this case Italy's RAI international). Is it possible to hook a PC up to a TV for the sole purpose of streaming that channel? I know there are several sites that let me stream that channel. What hardware would I need? Do I need to worry about graphics card limitations? Internet connectivity won't be an issue. Would I need a remote control or a certain software package for this? Will TV have to have certain adapters to act as the monitor? Are there any software packages that act as a DVR?The TV in question is a Panasonic Viera, 36" I believe. The side connections are HDMI, RCA Vid/Aud and the has HDMI, component in and Video in.
First i want to apologize for my bad english since i'm italian So.. I just installed windows7 ultimate and suddenly the right audio channel is not working.
1) I want to make clear i've tried different cables and headphones/speakers (i'm a producer so i've got plenty..) and i can't hear the right channel at all.
2) I tried to download latest version of Realtek
3) On audio configuration when i press the configure button when i tried the right audio channel i could hear it very low (like the left channel is at least 10 times higher). that is the only situation in wich i can hear something coming out from my right speaker (and is like a 90w monitor.. so i think i'll hear it otherwise)
4) Since i just installed everything i tried to format and re-install, but i got no results
5) I tried the bit/hz thing but with ANY configuration i don't get any result
6) And now a very odd thing: since i got an external audio interface i tried even with that. right channel still not working.
