I woke up this morning to no internet access. After unplugging and plugging the modem back in, I had to wait a couple of minutes for the modem's lights to stop flashing. When they did the second light is lit blue. Never seen that before (usually green). I check 192.168.0.1 and I now have 4 channels listed in "downstream".My download/upload speeds are really fast now. Upload only went as high as 2.79 before.
View 2 Repliesrecently it came to my notice that i was running my RAM on single channel mode (2x2gb) on my dh67bl mobo. i saw it in cpu z and it showed single channel.
So, i changed my ram and placed it in identical slots and now the Cpu z shows dual channel RAM. but i don't see any visible difference in performance.
is there any performance difference in running the RAM in dual channel / single channel?
im looking at a lga 2011 x79 board. namely this one> Newegg.com - ASRock X79 Extreme6 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard but am looking at this ram> Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL8Q-16GBZH do i absolutely need to place 8 sticks of ram in? or can i get away with staggering 4 sticks accross the board instead?

I have to click on forward email then the pictures will show but not always. I have tried changing the settings but nothing seems to work. My system runs Windows 7 home premium and I use both Internet explorer 9 or Mozilla Firefox. My email is through Windows Live/MSN Hotmail. I get the same results with both IE9 and Firefox.

Anyone know why emailing 2 contacts separately works but putting both of the same contacts in the To: field together doesn't. The emails disappear into the ether.

Main Memory
• Supports two memory banks using two 184-pin DDR DIMM.
• Supports up to 2GB PC3200 (DDR400) SDRAMs.
• Supports 2.5v DDR SDRAM.
I want to get dual channel ram. Can anyone tell me if they know it is guaranteed to work? Or do you need a special motherboard for dual channel?
I know I should pick channels 1,6,or 11 but not having any device other then my ps3 I cant run a channel scanner. I have no idea what my neighbors wifi's channels are should I just leave my routers channel on auto as it is always changing wifi channels my guess it's got a built in scanner I don't know if thats true it's a cheep belkin N150 or should I just go for a shot in the dark and pick one of the 3 channels?

" What I get is a message box with the following, "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action." So when I go to defaults program control there are email programs listed. But if i sort them by name, I am not able to read the names anymore. The gradient will move to the first letter, so that even the first letter is only half displayed.
Does anyone can confirm this or may have a solution?
I just did a fresh install of windows 7 64bit and have a dual wintv t500 digital tuner card installed.Wmc is working fine apart from not displaying the channel listings (epg) The names of the channels are there but It just says "no data available" on every channel listing..Yet when i r click on the more info button, all the program guides/listings show up in that section But when i go back to the main guide screen there missing.

I have a keyboard with 1-5 labelled universal purpose keys. The software lets me bind various commands to them, either from a list, or a shell command. I would like these keys to 1. open WMC in Live TV mode (if not open) 2. change channel to the specified one (e.g. if I press "2", pop up channel 2, like a normal TV if I press a number on the remote).
I know the numpad can switch channels, but only if WMC is running and active.
And I know WMC has a command line inteface, which is very poorly documented.
For example, this command opens WMC in Live TV mode (with the last channel selected before it was closed): Code:

View 1 Replies View RelatedReceived above cheerio about a week ago ignored it and carried on as I knew my version was indeed genuine have had it for three years. 2 days ago, after normal start up,the screen went blank actually black , and the only thing showing is the above message again ,with the notation " Build 7601 " Unable to get any thing to come up at all except " Task Master " reference which proved to be useless.So made the call to Microsoft in Manila, and was able to convince them that my item was " genuine " however they then left me "in the lurch " saying I need to get in a tech guy, as the MS guy could not guide me out of my black screen situation, tho he gave me several ideas to try and pull up the "Start " button and get back in,So any ideas how I can get myself back to " Square One " ?? let MS know I am not impressed -- they cause the problem , in my opinion.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhere my BSOD's were not often at all.However these other days in the week, they've been happening every 2-3 days. But that has also dissapeared. Now i BSOD really often, when ever the computer feels like it.This started happening as i said 2 weeks ago when i changed my Motherboard and Processor. Because my old one was a AMD 5200+ Dualcore on a M2N-E Asus AM2.They both died at the same time. So i got myself a ASRock N68-S UCC.But do note that the first four to five days this didnt happen.Everything was fine after changing my hardware. So .. Ive read my minidumps with "whocrashed" and it indicates it is most likely a driver/ software problem and NOT hardware.Yes indeed this is a wall of text, but as a gamer i cannot proceed to enjoy my hobby with a BSOD constantly popping up.My usual temperatures for the CPU are about 35C at idle and 40C - 50C Ingame. Same goes with GPU and just about everything else.I am running on the latest drivers for all of my components, ive tried rolling back to see if the BSOD's dissapear but nope.So im guessing it's not those.I compressed the minidump into a rar file and uploaded it. There is a file also called "Additional info" make sure to read it!It contains important information gathered by "whocrashed".
