I keep getting this error message "Oops! Internet explorer could not find" followed by some website. Seems random, and seems to be associated with using Google toolbar. I'm using Internet explorer 8.
I am looking to integrate IE9 into a retail image of Windows 7. I've already done this once successfully, however the version of IE9 that I have is outdated. If you peruse the internet, you'll quickly see several direct links to IE 9's msu version directly from Microsoft, but these are all release candidate when installed. I'm looking for the latest RTM, since it won't have to be immediately upgraded after re-imaging, which completely defeats the purpose. While it isn't 100% supported by Microsoft, it isn't illegal to my knowledge. I still must have a valid license key to use any of it. If for some reason it goes against the TOS, please delete this post, but alert me as to why, precisely it had to be done so that I can avoid it later.
I just downloaded the newest version of Internet Explorer 9 Beta 64-bit. However, I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't find a spellchecker embedded into their new browser. I'm used to iespell in the 32-bit browser, but it does not load in the 64-bit browser. I like to use the spell checker at various times as I post on forums and other places and would like to have something "watching my back" as I type.
Windows Explorer ( not internet Explorer) starts up when I turn on my computer ( without my request). This just started to occur yesterday. It must be in some startup menu . Where do I look for this to remove it ?

I have recently upgraded to windows 7 pro on a nice new 1TB hard drive. I have removed the previously installed win xp drive, and that is now in an external caddy. I have been in the process of moving the files from the xp drive to the Windows 7 drive. I forgot to backup my IE8 bookmarks before the switch over, and have tried to find the actual bookmark links via windows explorer but can't find them. I have tried looking in dos and setting users favourites...but the bookmarks are not in there.

I normally use Mozilla Firefox but an upgrade programme I recently downloaded needs IE to install. IE couldn't display the webpage so I downloaded and installed IE9 On running there was a script error. Line 1, Char 1, Error 'Components is undefined', Code 0 and URL chrome://simppulltoolbar/content/lib/external.js. I selected Yes to continue running scripts. Then came this error. IE cannot display the webpage. I selected Diagnose Connection Problems but Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem.
