i have nero 6 & have just bought a new computer with windows 7. when i launch nero cd burning rom it tells me that i have an internal error when i drop & drag a song across from a cd.

All goes well, it installs everything, but as it finished I get this error: I have tried redownloading, using other installers and updating my graphics drivers. Nothing will work. It's probably worth mentioning that the first time I tried installing, about a week ago, my computer totally froze in the middle of the install and I had to force restart.

View 9 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I was browsing on my computer and heard a weird clicking noise when the CD drive was running. About a few minutes after that, Firefox froze so I did a hard reboot, and up comes this message:
"No boot sector on internal hard drive No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics."
I have no idea what it means, and I've been everywhere trying to do System Restore using the Windows 7 reinstallation disk, but unfortunately I couldn't create a restore point because my jump drive doesn't have enough space and Startup Repair couldn't solve my problem. I've even tried the bootrec.exe on Command Prompt but I had no idea what to do. This is the first time that this has happened to me. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1545 and I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I'm on a tight limb about this problem right now because my warranty expired in early June this year, and I don't have the money for them to look at it, let alone buy a brand-new hard drive.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and system is about one month old. Bought the Ultimate because it's supposed to allow you to install older programs. Today, I tried to install my Nero 7 Ultra Edition Enhanced (retail disc). It went so far and threw up an error. Tried reinstalling to no avail. Now it won't even let me uninstall it (it starts to uninstall then throws an error). It appears to have all the folders on my C drive now but it does not start. I was able to take a screen shot of when it happened again in case anyone needs to see it. View 2 Replies View RelatedI use a program known as Folder Lock 6.4.2 and previously whenever I burn the "FLK" file using Any version of Nero ((Currently using Nero Version 10)), When I go to open up the Burnt Data Dvd to put in my password info into the Folder Lock program, I get the error message "Mount Not Working. Due to some reason encryption not working. Please restart your computer to resolve this issue or select another locker top open.". I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything more than once, Folder Lock 6.4.2, Nero 7, Nero 10. When I switch over to Windows XP, I put in the password it opens up just fine. I am using Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate.
