If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.Now, there doesn't seem to be any critical effect of this error. View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I enter the pin to connect to windows media center, that goes through fine, and it starts contacting on my Xbox and just as it's about to "configuring your extender" it cuts off and displays "Windows media center has encountered an error while trying to configure your computer with this extender". I checked event viewer and the error is as follows:-Media Center Extender Setup cannot create an account for the Extender with ID: uuid:10000000-0000-0000-0200-0025AE2444B5.Error: The system cannot find the file specified.
P.S Tried with all Xbox 360 port forwarding set to open for those relevant ports. Certificate deleted. Network services set up correctly. Firewall been turned off. No anti virus enabled. DMZ filtered on xbox both enabled and disabled, IP address are not clashing and im connected wirelessly on both PC and Xbox.
I have 3 internal hard drives and am trying to add a 4th. The ones that I have are a 1TB (Boot), a 2TB MBR, and a 3TB MBR. When I try to install the 2nd 3TB one and go into Disk Management to create the partitions, it only shows this 4th HD as being 746.52GB! In fact, I have already returned one to the store thinking there was something wrong with the drive but obviously it was not
View 1 Replies View RelatedLet me say first that I am not dual booting. I have a 250gb Internal SATA drive, and a 800gb internal SATA drive. Both hooked up and ready to go.What I want to do, and am unsure if it's possible, is to install Windows 7 64bit on the 250gb drive, and thats IT. I want to boot from that drive, but everything else I want to go onto the 800gb drive.I haven't done this yet but I get the feeling that if I were, when it boots from the 250, things that I download and install would always try and add themselves there. And I dread of having to manually move downloaded files and redirect installed programs every time.

All goes well, it installs everything, but as it finished I get this error: I have tried redownloading, using other installers and updating my graphics drivers. Nothing will work. It's probably worth mentioning that the first time I tried installing, about a week ago, my computer totally froze in the middle of the install and I had to force restart.

View 9 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I was browsing on my computer and heard a weird clicking noise when the CD drive was running. About a few minutes after that, Firefox froze so I did a hard reboot, and up comes this message:
"No boot sector on internal hard drive No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics."
I have no idea what it means, and I've been everywhere trying to do System Restore using the Windows 7 reinstallation disk, but unfortunately I couldn't create a restore point because my jump drive doesn't have enough space and Startup Repair couldn't solve my problem. I've even tried the bootrec.exe on Command Prompt but I had no idea what to do. This is the first time that this has happened to me. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1545 and I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I'm on a tight limb about this problem right now because my warranty expired in early June this year, and I don't have the money for them to look at it, let alone buy a brand-new hard drive.

Problem is I'm not sure the driver is running well with Windows 7 because there are random hissing sounds coming out. Once it comes out, it won't stop until I remove my usb and plug it back again.

My M/B sound is not working and hence I have an basic Crystal Sound Fusion audio card. Windows XP and Ubuntu is working with this Sound Card. But Windows 7 has problem with it. I tried to ON the option " Plug and Play OS " in BIOS. But device manager does not worked. Then I disabled onboard Audio so that it will be sloved but it replies same only. Device Manager of Win 7 says that
" Error Code 12 : The device cannot find free enough resources "
Also " You need to disable other device to work this one. " (I have written in my own language...)
Please help me as I cannot enjoy Sound on Windows 7. I have installed Driver by Dell for this one and it says its right after checking Online also.
