Internal Error 2908 While Installing Crystal Report
Jul 13, 2012
Am getting internal error 2908 during installation of CRRedist2008_x86.msi even i deleted mscoree.dll in system32 folder but same is displaying. The OS am using is windows 7 32-bit
This is my first time solving problem without enough information. The client is using Crystal Report (version unknown) at Windows XP and everything was fine. Now they upgraded their OS to WIndow 7 64-Bits, and the crystal report does not work anymore. An error has occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtimg.
For the past while, I've been getting an error report pop-up regarding .NET Framework. It happens approximately 20min after starting my computer. The pop-up states:
Code: Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Now, there doesn't seem to be any critical effect of this error. Whether I choose Quit or Continue doesn't have any overt effect. Here is the information under the "Details" for the error:See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

I uninstalled my old driver to update them and when I open the catalyst installer, I only get to choose install location and when I click install button it loads really fast to about 3/4's full then crashes with no error report given.
So I enter the pin to connect to windows media center, that goes through fine, and it starts contacting on my Xbox and just as it's about to "configuring your extender" it cuts off and displays "Windows media center has encountered an error while trying to configure your computer with this extender". I checked event viewer and the error is as follows:-Media Center Extender Setup cannot create an account for the Extender with ID: uuid:10000000-0000-0000-0200-0025AE2444B5.Error: The system cannot find the file specified.
P.S Tried with all Xbox 360 port forwarding set to open for those relevant ports. Certificate deleted. Network services set up correctly. Firewall been turned off. No anti virus enabled. DMZ filtered on xbox both enabled and disabled, IP address are not clashing and im connected wirelessly on both PC and Xbox.
I have 3 internal hard drives and am trying to add a 4th. The ones that I have are a 1TB (Boot), a 2TB MBR, and a 3TB MBR. When I try to install the 2nd 3TB one and go into Disk Management to create the partitions, it only shows this 4th HD as being 746.52GB! In fact, I have already returned one to the store thinking there was something wrong with the drive but obviously it was not
Let me say first that I am not dual booting. I have a 250gb Internal SATA drive, and a 800gb internal SATA drive. Both hooked up and ready to go.What I want to do, and am unsure if it's possible, is to install Windows 7 64bit on the 250gb drive, and thats IT. I want to boot from that drive, but everything else I want to go onto the 800gb drive.I haven't done this yet but I get the feeling that if I were, when it boots from the 250, things that I download and install would always try and add themselves there. And I dread of having to manually move downloaded files and redirect installed programs every time.
I recently re-installed windows and am now trying to install the DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010). All goes well, it installs everything, but as it finished I get this error: I have tried redownloading, using other installers and updating my graphics drivers. Nothing will work. It's probably worth mentioning that the first time I tried installing, about a week ago, my computer totally froze in the middle of the install and I had to force restart.
i have nero 6 & have just bought a new computer with windows 7. when i launch nero cd burning rom it tells me that i have an internal error when i drop & drag a song across from a cd.
I recently installed windows 7 7600 on a different partition. until i came up with this problem while installing some applications. at first installations run smooth. until this error 2502 and 2503 came. i can't install any applications. i researched and found some answers but not complete. can anyone please help me get pass this?
i've had this error since i tried re installing steam, and have been searching everywhere for how to fix it and still everything i try doesnt work, anyone know how to fix this
Yesterday, I was browsing on my computer and heard a weird clicking noise when the CD drive was running. About a few minutes after that, Firefox froze so I did a hard reboot, and up comes this message:
"No boot sector on internal hard drive No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics."
I have no idea what it means, and I've been everywhere trying to do System Restore using the Windows 7 reinstallation disk, but unfortunately I couldn't create a restore point because my jump drive doesn't have enough space and Startup Repair couldn't solve my problem. I've even tried the bootrec.exe on Command Prompt but I had no idea what to do. This is the first time that this has happened to me. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1545 and I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I'm on a tight limb about this problem right now because my warranty expired in early June this year, and I don't have the money for them to look at it, let alone buy a brand-new hard drive.
I have a USB Speaker that auto-installs a audio driver into windows 7 when plugged in. Problem is I'm not sure the driver is running well with Windows 7 because there are random hissing sounds coming out. Once it comes out, it won't stop until I remove my usb and plug it back again.
So I want to try compatibility mode with XP and Vista, but I am unsure how to do this.
I'm having a problem with my notebook Acer Aspire 6920 since i installed my Windows 7. The camera driver doesn't work....( Acer Crystal Eye Driver Camera) Does anybody had this problem? How did you guys solve this? I tried already run as ADM.. but didn't work. I'm running a 64 bit OS.
My M/B sound is not working and hence I have an basic Crystal Sound Fusion audio card. Windows XP and Ubuntu is working with this Sound Card. But Windows 7 has problem with it. I tried to ON the option " Plug and Play OS " in BIOS. But device manager does not worked. Then I disabled onboard Audio so that it will be sloved but it replies same only. Device Manager of Win 7 says that
before i was able to find the "USER" folder and i right clocked it and were it says attributes i clicked "hidden" and the folder disappeared ..i thought i could see again again if i went to "folder option" and click "show hidden" but i couldnt see it...so how would i be able to see my user folder again?Also..i dont know if this is related..but i am no longer able to change my background or wallpaper?i tried it and it gives me an error message "image cannot be set as wallpaper.an internal error has occurred"
I keep receiving a pop up error message box at random times that shows Internal error and the message "Access is denied". I was able to take a screen shot of when it happened again in case anyone needs to see it. The times this pop up did show was once when I was using the calculator and the other was when I typed the specific page # I wanted to print out.
