For the past while, I've been getting an error report pop-up regarding .NET Framework. It happens approximately 20min after starting my computer. The pop-up states:
Code: Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Now, there doesn't seem to be any critical effect of this error. Whether I choose Quit or Continue doesn't have any overt effect. Here is the information under the "Details" for the error:See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

I have had the 5600 for about 2 years and still have not been able to use it without problems. I need to scan documents and keep getting the error message Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 is required to continue.
I am trying to scan a document on the Lexmark 5600 and keep getting an error message Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 required to continue. I have tried to download but after several unsuccessful attempts have given up.
I've been having problems for a while installing this client profile.
Here's the log of the action.
CBS Log: http://www.2shared.com/file/a_VbsVp0/CBS.html Code: OS Version = 6.1.7601, Platform 2, Service Pack 1 OS Description = Windows 7 - x64 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1
I believe I have found a bug in Windows 7 which makes high DPI (150%) virtually unusable, how do I report this bug to Microsoft?
Also could someone else test this on their Windows 7 to see if it is just my setup or maybe an NVidia bug.
Here are the steps to repeat the bug. Ensure you are running Aero Go to Display->Change DPI to 150% Log Off->Log On Open a non DPI aware program such as Itunes, Spotify, Vuze, VLC, Chrome (NOT FireFox, Explorer, Outlook) Try to drag the window around or resize the window When I do this on a clean install of Win 7 Home Premium (64bit) with all latest drivers/updates I get very unstable mouse flicker as shown here.
I have reported the bug to NVidia here with of course no reply but I want to find out from ATI users whether it affects their machines.
I even emailed Steven Sinofsky (President of Windows) and he said "its something your end" which made me laugh, at least he replied I guess.. more than I was expecting.
Anyway all help appreciated I really want to be able use Windows 7 on my projector, many thanks. if it is not present on ATI I will buy one tomorrow!
Lexmark all in one printer x6650 needs m/s framework 2.0 to run
Productiivity Studio software so I can print photos. Framework 2.0 only <div> comes in 32bit and my w/7 is 64 bit. I have no idea what is going on here
I am having a problem with this update. Windows update has updated this one file 18 times already. Everytime I start the computer this update is ready to be installed again. Evertime this file has been installed the installation has been successful. If the instalation was succesful why does windows keep on intalling it over & over again. Does anyone know the answer to this problem I am having. Once a new update has been succesfully installed, Windows 7 should not have to install it over & over again.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium (SP1) on a fairly new machine.I ran malware and McAfee scans which were all clean. I also ran Aaron Stebner's .NET Framework setup verification tool (which was clean as well).I have been using a software program that uses "Microsoft .net 3.5".We have been having some issues with the program and were advised to turn on the following Windows features:Control Panel> Programs> Windows Features>Microsoft .Net 3.5>two checkmarks below thisI have repeatedly checked these, tow at a time, one at a time, etc and the system will give me a "wait message", state that all of the features could not be started and request a re-boot. Upon a re-boot, neither of these features are checked.I have also attempted to re-install 3.5 (and the program itself). We have been unable to re-install 3.5 (it appears to start but just disappears without any confirmation whatsoever). When I look in programs I have Microsoft.Net 4.0, which apparently is the "parent" of 3.5I have also entirely removed both McAfee & Malwarebytes thinking these may have been blocking us, all to no availby the way, system restore is also failing!
I uninstalled my old driver to update them and when I open the catalyst installer, I only get to choose install location and when I click install button it loads really fast to about 3/4's full then crashes with no error report given.
So I enter the pin to connect to windows media center, that goes through fine, and it starts contacting on my Xbox and just as it's about to "configuring your extender" it cuts off and displays "Windows media center has encountered an error while trying to configure your computer with this extender". I checked event viewer and the error is as follows:-Media Center Extender Setup cannot create an account for the Extender with ID: uuid:10000000-0000-0000-0200-0025AE2444B5.Error: The system cannot find the file specified.
P.S Tried with all Xbox 360 port forwarding set to open for those relevant ports. Certificate deleted. Network services set up correctly. Firewall been turned off. No anti virus enabled. DMZ filtered on xbox both enabled and disabled, IP address are not clashing and im connected wirelessly on both PC and Xbox.

Running Win 7. I get the following when I boot:" Microsoft.Net Framework version 2.0 is required to continue". When i try to download it, the downloader screen comes up blank. the rare times when I were able to download it, it woud not install.
If this was answered, I may have overlooked the original question... I recently upgraded to windows 7 and get a startup error with regards to the .net framework 2.0 not being installed, however I have 4 installed. I was told I need to patch in 2.0, how can I do this? When I go to install 2.0 it gives me the same startup error. I can't scan from the lexmark printer but can print anda couple of programs are not functioning properly
I'm new here and thought I'd try and get some help. I keep getting a Winows Driver error whenever I try to restart or shutdown. The Error code is 0x0000010D
A couple of my programs/games would not launch giving me a similiar error. After some research I believed it was a problem with .NET, well now I can't reinstall it. I've tried numerous things that have been mentioned on this forum. I'm going to copy and paste the error log that Framework gives me.[CODE]
get that message constantly. have done just about everything and problem still there.have action center and it says security center service is off, don't have that on my control panel.
Problem reports where making the rounds shortly after the final release of the Windows 7 operating system. It is not unusual that some users report problems when installing a new operating system or upgrading their old OS to a new one. Windows 7 in this regard did not get a lot of bad press except for a problem that got reported quite frequently by Windows Vista users who tried to perform an upgrade to Windows 7. These Windows Vista users were experiencing an error at exactly 62% of the update.
Windows performed an automatic rollback to Windows Vista at this point leaving the user puzzled and confused. Some users even experienced an endless reboot problem which would initiate the upgrade process again only to fail again at 62%.
Microsoft has released a Fix-It solution for the problem that the Vista to Windows 7 upgrade hangs at 62%. Fix-It solutions are one-click solutions that will correct a problem that was experienced by the user before. In this case the Vista user needs to click on the Fix-It button on the Microsoft support website after the upgrade failed at 62% to fix the issue and initiate the upgrade again.
Experienced users can also fix the problem manually by following the steps detailed at the very same support page:To resolve this problem yourself, follow these steps:
1. Restart the computer. Then, your computer will roll back to Windows Vista.
2. Click Start, right-click Computer, and then click Properties.
3. On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
4. Under System variables, click New.
5. Type MIG_UPGRADE_IGNORE_PLUGINS in the Variable name field.
6. Type IphlpsvcMigPlugin.dll in the Variable value field.
7. Click OK three times to close the dialog boxes.
8. Start the upgrade installation again.
Hopefully this fix will help those that have been having issues with the upgrade process.

I am getting this error when trying to sendand rec emails: Sending' reported error (0x8004010F) : Outlook data file cannot be accessed. I had changed the name of the folder where my pst files are but i then went and redirected them (i have 6 different pst files) to the new location and i can open up microsoft outlook OK and look at the data files fine and see all the emails etc so there is nothing wrong with the actual data files. I also went in and tested each email account and they appearto be all OK also, ie: they will send a test message and come up with NO errors.
