i've had this error since i tried re installing steam, and have been searching everywhere for how to fix it and still everything i try doesnt work, anyone know how to fix this

Whenever I attempt to install iTunes, or any other programs, a window pops up telling about an error 2503, and then another window pops up telling me about an error 2502. Keep in mind, all the users on my computer have ownership of files (I'm pretty sure).

All goes well, it installs everything, but as it finished I get this error: I have tried redownloading, using other installers and updating my graphics drivers. Nothing will work. It's probably worth mentioning that the first time I tried installing, about a week ago, my computer totally froze in the middle of the install and I had to force restart.

I keep getting this error. 2503, 2502, and 1603. It happens everytime I try to install skype. I do not have the windows installer file, the only closely related item is LoJackinstaller. I change all the permissions, upgrade to windows 7 pro, everything but it won't install skype. Also I tried downloading and installing windows installer 3.1 but it said that I have run out of storgae room and the installation failed. Its also only gives me the 2503,2502, and 1603 errors when I try and install Skype. I download and installed chrome and several other programs just fine.

Yesterday, I was browsing on my computer and heard a weird clicking noise when the CD drive was running. About a few minutes after that, Firefox froze so I did a hard reboot, and up comes this message:
"No boot sector on internal hard drive No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics."
I have no idea what it means, and I've been everywhere trying to do System Restore using the Windows 7 reinstallation disk, but unfortunately I couldn't create a restore point because my jump drive doesn't have enough space and Startup Repair couldn't solve my problem. I've even tried the bootrec.exe on Command Prompt but I had no idea what to do. This is the first time that this has happened to me. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1545 and I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I'm on a tight limb about this problem right now because my warranty expired in early June this year, and I don't have the money for them to look at it, let alone buy a brand-new hard drive.
Am getting internal error 2908 during installation of CRRedist2008_x86.msi even i deleted mscoree.dll in system32 folder but same is displaying. The OS am using is windows 7 32-bit

Seagate 320 gig, with C and D partitions. C contains a legit retail upgrade version of Vista Home. D is for data.
Western Digital 640 gig, with a single E partition, currently used as backup.
I ordered a Windows 7 Home Premium retail upgrade at the discounted price a few months ago and expect it in a month.
My Seagate drive is running low on space and I want to retire it. I would like to boot to the Win 7 DVD, have my Vista install on the Seagate recognized, and then do a clean install of Windows 7 on the Western Digital drive, currently E.
I hope to buy another considerably larger backup drive shortly to replace the Western Digital as a backup drive.
Will the WD drive be available as a location for the installation in these circumstances?
Any previous time I have installed MS operating systems, I always chose to install to the same drive as the existing OS. This time things are different due to little space on the Seagate drive. Windows 7 would certainly fit on my current C, but I want to retire that drive.
Or will this remain a complete unknown until some time after October 22?
Or will I be forced to install to the Seagate and then somehow migrate the install to the WD?
I have not played with the RC, so I don't know what options are normally presented during the install.
I just got a brand new computer (PowerSpec B708) and installed 2 games and a few programs. Whenever I try it says a network resource is unavailable and asks me to point to the install package, but still never works. I did not realise though, that Media Player 12 was already installed, so when I saw a link to download it, I did and tried to install it. After rebooting, the obviously already installed Media Player 12 files became corrupted and now, everytime I try to run it it will not work. I am directed to download it, and the link goes to the old Media Player for Windows NT - which will not install, as my PC tells me the Media Player 12 is already installed...So how can I uninstall anything Media Player and start fresh? Since then, we have found that we can't open any non-Windows inherit programs. Windows did an update, but it didn't help.We can open documents, pictures, notepad, calculator - all the things that would have come with Windows 7, but if it is a program that we have installed, like Chrome, AVG free or AdAware, we can't open it. I double-click and nothing happens.Likewise, when I try to uninstall programs. I tried fixing the issue by removing Azureus, but I get the message that it doesn't look like it can be uninstalled and asks if I want it removed from the programs list.I have successfully gotten ZIP folders to open and use REG files (which is how I got ZIP folders to work), but that's it.
