Mailmerge And Text / Graphics Boxes
Jun 24, 2011Using mailmerge in Word 7, with a template with a picture box (our logo) top left, and a text box (containing address) top right. If I print the document without merging any data, it's fine. As soon as I import my data - nowhere near either of the boxes - the address text box to the right of the logo picture box gets partially obscured by blank space and ends up showing only the last half of each line. If I remove the picture box, the contents of the text box print OK; or if I take the address out of the text box and enter it as indented text in the same place to the right of the logo, it's also fine.

Jul 14, 2011The blue screen seem to accour when trying to load a Cubase (music production program) file, randomly. Can work for hours without anything happening.Can someone plz tell me what file it's pointing to? Jun 11, 2011I'm a new user for cubase 5. When I play back what I have recorded it seems that I hear the track in about 1/2 - 1 second delay than where the cursor is pointing. Also, if I record with metronome clicks I hear the high pitch click (which is supposed to be the first on out of each 4 beats) on the second beat.

Mar 3, 2011Ok this is wierd I have a client using Office 2007 pro and some of her docs that she recently updated and the problem is when she prints the docs text that she deleted is printing over the top of new text she inserted into the doc.
Now when you have said doc open in WORD the deleted text is not there in any view and does NOT show in "print preview".
I opened said doc with WORDPAD and the deleted text shows up at the bottom so its still in the word doc somewhere imbedded so it prints over the top of the actual text in the doc.

Feb 2, 2012I have a project where I need to search a large amount of text files on my home PC. I recently upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. My research indicated this feature was available in Windows 7.
If you do a search in Windows XP, you get a bunch of fields. You can pick to search for text INSIDE the particular sub folder structure.
I have found this feature in Windows 7, but it is different. I have tried using wild cards but it does not seem to work properly.

Apr 6, 2012All of the sudden, when I want to copy and paste something in the same document, the formatted text (whether that be a certain font or bold) does not transfer over to the pasted text. For instance, if I wanted to copy the following bolded word word and then paste it anywhere else in the document, I now get this: word (without the bold). This applies to other cutting and pasting problems: this applies to other fonts and formatting (bold, my Greek font, etc).One more example: before today, if I wanted to cut a text out of my New Testament Greek program right in the middle of a paragraph, the Greek font (or whatever font) would paste normally no matter what font the target MS Word text was in.

Apr 23, 2011I know there is probably a simple answer out there, however RAM is cheap right now and I though I would go ahead and future proof my system or whatever. My WEI with 4 GB RAM was 6.6 and after upgrading to 8 GB of Crucial RAM it was 6.6. I knew the difference from 4 to 8 would be negligible but I thought I would see a better score. The system does see 8 GB RAM by the way.
