Anyone have any luck with a Fujitsu Scansnap S510 under Windows 7 RC 64 bit? I have the Vista 64 bit drivers which worked just fine under Vista, but I can't get the Scan Manager package to install at all under Windows 7 RC 64.
I am looking for a 64bit driver for this scanner. Fujitsu tech support has been way less than useless, telling me that they have no plans to do a 64bit driver. Does anybody else have this flatbed scanner? Is there a work around?
I will soon be buying a few new computers for the small business I work for. We are looking to get top-of-the-line computers that will last us another 10 years or so, so I'd like to go with Windows 7 64-bit Professional.
We were at first a bit concerned, though, that the main program we use, DataEase for DOS (yes, I know it's antiquated, lol) wouldn't work, but we've been told it should work fine through a Virtual PC emulated environment running WinXP.
What concerns us now, though, is whether or not we will be able to continue using our old Fujitsu DL4600 dot-matrix printers. We need these printers for printing on three-part paper to get signatures and such.
I'm quite sure there is no 64-bit driver available for these printers, but since we are going to be running XP through Virtual PC - will we be able to print to these printers through that emulated environment?
Installed Win 7 ultimate. updated to the latest intel 945 drivers. I have a problem with the graphics resolution.
I have set the screen resolution to SXGA 1400 × 1050. However, when I flip the screen to tablet mode or when I login after suspend, the screen flickers (goes black for a second) and the resolution switches to 1024x768. I have looked in many places for a solution. Problem still persists.
Is there any way I can force 1920 * 1200 (or 1080) resolution, using this hardware: Fujitsu Scaleo L22-1W display and GeForce 9600M GT GPU. Native resolution for this display is 1680 * 1050 at 59 Hz.
I am building a HTPC system using a spare HP Pavilion dv7 laptop, basically the same specs than those I've listed in my system specs. I would like to use it with two displays, the mentioned L22-1W and and a full HD plasma TV from laptops HDMI out, desktop duplicated not extended, laptops own display disconnected because this GPU allows max two displays at the same time.
Problem is this duplicated desktop. This GPU allows a FullHD resolution ONLY when a HDMI device is the only display connected, or when multi display settings are on extended desktop. If I choose duplicate desktop, it allows the HDMI device resolutions only up to the max of that second display, in this case 1680*1050.
If this is not possible, I'll buy a new display with FullHD resolution. I just want first to test if I could make this system from spares I already have.
i have installed Windows 7 on this machine to test and it works perfectly except for the sound, Intel(R) 82801GBM (ICH7-M) LPC Interface Controller - 27B9 is the only thing wrong when i go into device manager driver upto date, and don't know if this is the problem but, have done some googling for additional drivers but to no avail and fujitsi have no solution, tried the vista solutions still no go. anyone who can point me in right direction which is probably staring me in the face.
I bought a Fujitsu P4, 2.66 GHZ, computer. Its memory capacity was 256 MB but i upgraded to 512 GB so that i could load Windows 7. I loaded Windows 7 and after the installation, there was no sound. I re-installed again but still there was no sound
I've recently acquired a relatively old, yet (wonder)fully functional, Fujitsu P7010D laptop.It's a 1.10GHz Pentium M, with 1 GB of RAM. I'm no expert in computers so let me know if there's something else that is necessary to mention. Basically it's a 7 year old laptop (since 2005), but it runs just fine.A lovely piece of gear. I was trying to install a Home Basic edition of Windows 7 on it with no success.Again and again I encountered a problem that only popped at the end of the installation, upon running Windows for the first time. I got a blue screen during "Starting Windows" (its animation never started by the way, FWIW), saying ( A problem occurred ... If this problem persists ... ) The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor for an updated BIOS. Technical Information:*** STOP x000000A5 (0x00000011, 0x00000003, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) Well obviously it's about my BIOS, so I downloaded what probably is the latest update from Fujitsu, which seems to be from 2007 (that's the date in the BIOS Info tab). After going through another Windows 7 installation, the same blue screen appeared again, sadly. The original Windows XP Professional edition does work completely fine, so is another "Windows Seven Royal XP SP3" that I downloaded from the internet. I only get the error when trying to install Win 7. Another thing to mention is, I could load Windows 7 on safe mode (hitting F8 during boot up), everything was functional there when I was messing with settings and USB / SD (Secure Digital) devices. No blue screen at that time. Tried to put it all simply and accurate, I'd love to get some help with thatI use it in my studies and there's nothing I want more than a comfy workspace on the go everyday and during lectures.
a friend of mine has a new Fujitsu Amilo LI3910 laptop. the only problem he has with it, is that his mic is very very low. i can hardly hear him when he is using it. as he told me, he has an internal and external microphones. the internal one shows 3 bars of volume and he can't make it any higher. the external one is full but the volume is still very low. He changed OS from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Professional. He thinks that it's somehow connected to his audio drive. However, we do not know what kind of audio card he has, since all it says on the manufacturers site is "Up to 7.1 high-definition audio via S/PDIF"
Fujitsu M1450G is losing its internet connection after a few minutes of internet browsing, the wireless connection says it is still connected, but internet doesnt work. I also do a repair on the connection but it doesn't solve the problem. I have to restart the laptop each time to have internet again, and it will only last a few minutes usually. What can the problem be and how can I solve it?PS Laptop location doesn't seem to be the issue, tried it just a metre away from the router and it has the same problem. Other laptops in the house have no problem at all.
my lifebook 532 my touch pad pointer is very sensitive, specifically highlighting unwanted items on a web page and actioning commands when hovered over for a short time.
What i intel chip can I upgrade the fujitsu 1610 and the 1630 laptops to with Intel® Coreâ„¢2 Duo Processor SU9300 (3M Cache, 1.20 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) would to upgrade to i3 or i5 chip
I've been using windows 7 for about a week on my Fujitsu A-6110 laptop.
Windows 7 (7057 32bit)
Fujitsu A-6110
Core-2-du0 1.5 GHZ
2.5 GB Ram
When I had windows vista home installed I could run this laptop on "power-saver" mode for 3+ hours, when I bought it a year ago maybe 4 hrs on power-saver mode. At this setting I have the laptop on the lowest brightness level.
Now with Windows 7 installed my battery lasts about 1.5 hrs on powersaver mode with the brightness turned all the way down. Its been 45 minutes now and it is at 52%.
Is there some kind of Fujitsu battery power software I need to correct this ?
I have a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P computer which I have just upgraded from XP to Windows 7, but for some reason my sound card does not seem to work, I have been onto the Fujitsu website but can't find any drivers for windows 7 to upgrade my sound card, I would be greatful for any suggestions as to how I might overcome this problem.
My laptop Fujitsu Siemens Amilo pro v3405 wireless connection always on after upgrading to Genine Windows 7..I ca not switch of from the wireless bottom nor by Fn F10..
I have just installed windows 7 on my Fujitsu Siemens amilo pro V3405 and my wireless is not working . The function F10 does not turn it on and it says it is working properly in the device manager, it is also enabled in the BIOS.
I have a problem installing Ultimate on my laptop. When I get to the part of the install where I choose wich hard drive or partition to install it on, the installation doesn't detect any of my hard drives.
From what I've gathered from browsing different forums my problem lies in that I have to install drivers for the disc controller in order to detect the hard drives as I belive the drives are in a RAID-setup, but I can't seem to find the right ones.
From the information in the Controlpanel in Vista (wich I'm currently running) I've gathered that I have a:
* Intel(R) 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller
AND
* Intel(R) ICH8M Ultra ATA storage Controllers - 2850
I've tried to load the drivers for these that I got from Fujitsu-Siemens, but I get the same problem. Could it be that these drivers are just for Vista? And in that case where do I find some for Windows 7? I've seen posts from people running Windows 7 on the same laptop so it should be possible to preform the install, but how?
I bought a fujitsu T731 tablet PC with windows 7 professional a few days ago and it works ok if I do not let it update with an install of " windows 7 service pack 1 " which looses the wireles connection. This is a reproduceable problem which I reported to fujitsu who's answer is to not allow updates and saying it's not their problem but rather microsoft's which is not allowing their driver for the wireless. I had to reinstall fujitsu's recovery files and another time had to do restore thru windows. So now it works but without the update install.
