Frequent Freezes, Hangs, BSoDs, Screen Unable To Detect CPU?

- Had a few encounters where the computer wouldnt start up and have a long continuous beep
- I don't know how to exactly describe this, but it's like halfway through using the computer, the screen turns black like when I just on the monitor without booting the com.

For the past week, I've been getting some random BSODs, some freezes, and sometimes just a random restart. there is a flash of a pixelated screen, and then it just restarts. This computer is nigh on two years old, and has showed no sign whatsoever of slowness or any malfunction. Yet for the past week or so, it's been randomly crashing and getting restarted. Specs
-Intel Pentium Dual Core processor. 3 GHz.
-ATI Radeon graphic card. 1 GB.
-2GB RAM.
-320 GB storage space.
-HP Pavilion CPU.
-Desktop PC
I would upload the dump files, but honestly, it crashes by the time i press the copy button. i am attempting to get them using the homegroup from this computer.
I managed to pull the dump files out from the homegroup. here they are.

I'm encountering BSOD's every 10 minutes or so from the past few days. I also have Windows XP which runs fine without BSODs. From BlueScreenViewer, I always get PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, caused by some ntkernel and halmacpi.

About week ago my computer started freezing and rebooting and then hangs at bios splash screen (will stay there with nothing happening for hours if u let it) until you reboot it than it comes back fine until it does it again. The only thing I noticed is if the machine is off for a while it takes a lot longer for it to happen, If you restart it it last around 15 -20 mins.
1) Updated all drivers and checked device manger for errors.
2) checked and defragged drive C: drive (ssd)
3) checked both for events and dmp files (nothing ) made sure reporting was on
3) Ran windows mem check froze twice while testing once with both strips and once with only one strip installed
4) replaced ram

After recently building a custom PC, I am doing a clean install of Windows 7 (64 bit) and all goes well through the installation process (loading, expanding files, etc) except when after the 2nd restart when it starts up for the first time. It freezes or hangs on the black “starting windows” screen (the one with the new colored windows logo).
I have tried installation a number of times, including with a bare bones configuration (2 Gb RAM, 1 HDD, 1 DVD Drive, GPU, and all other peripherals disconnected) and still the same thing happens. I have also tried the process using the VGA cable instead of the DVI.
I was able to successfully install XP after failing to install Win7, so I don't think my HDD is bad. I am also using a PS/2 Keyboard
System:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad (Q9650) 3Ghz/1333Mhz/12MB
MBoard: Asus P5K-E
GPU: Sapphire HD 2600XT
HDD: 2 x WD 640 Gb 7200/32MB/SATA 3.0Gb/s (Caviar Black WD6401AALS)
RAM: Mushkin 4Gb DDR2 SDRAM (2 x 2Gb)
PSU: Antec NeoPower HE550w (ATX 12v)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) OEM system builder pack
All components were purchased new from Newegg. I also have some peripherals: 2 DVD drives, Multi card reader, extra USB, firewire ports, wireless LAN card (although I disconnected those for the initial install attempt).
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am really at a loss to figure this one out. Could it be something to do with my video card driver? (Do I need to install that in the BIOS?)--I can see everything fine on my monitor though.

i've been having major issues with my pc that i built roughly 3 months ago. I've been trying to figure this out for about a week now but i'm really at wits end here.
The Build:
Phenom x5 955
Radeon 6870
ECS A885GM-A2 Mobo
Ballistix 8 gig ram
The Problem:When i boot into windows 7 it works for about 5-10 minutes just fine before it hard hangs. This problem started roughly 3 weeks ago, but the lockouts were so infrequent i figured it was just random glitches. Now, this lockout occurs every time i try to start my computer in anything but safe mode. I've never seen a BSOD before, the computer just locks up and becomes unresponsive to all inputs. If a video or some sound was playing at the time of crash the speakers also play a "brrrrr" noise. It even occurs if i boot the computer and just let it sit there without running any programs whatsoever. Since building the computer i have not added any major new hardware or done any drastic changes other than download or install fairly banal programs.
What I've done:
Updated graphics card driver
Checked Bios Version-up to date
sfc /scannow returned no problems
Error log shows nothing but "kernel 41 power critical error"
Taken apart computer to look for any hardware damage
From my research this "kernel 41 power critical error" is a fairly widespread problem but no one seems to have one set solution for it. I really am out of ideas and frustrated beyond belief.

I've been trying to perform a clean install the latest 32-bit Windows 7 RC and keep encountering indeterminate problems.
After updating to the latest BIOS, resetting all BIOS settings, and removing all of my peripherals, sound card, and video card (I used built-in video for the most recent install attempt), I still get either a BSOD (Stop 0x0000001a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT) or a hang (with misc. video distortion) at some point during the install, usually after 'expanding files' during the windows install. A few times the screen has just gone blank.
(Before doing all this, I was getting IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL BSODs, but those seem to have gone away after I removed everything).
As background, the system successfully passed the upgrade advisor and completes the memory test available from the boot loader and has been a rock-solid XP machine for 2 years (although I'm not doing an upgrade install)
I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do next. I could sit around and twiddle BIOS memory settings, I suppose, but I'm hoping someone can suggest a more principled approach.

I got a new Lenovo G570 which has been frequently freezing up, requiring a restart. Frequency varies from every 20 minutes to a few hours, in a wide variety of states and activities, sometimes even while installing updates at shutdown. Computer use seems to make it slightly worse. It can sit for 8 hours or more without problem if nothing is done right after boot, or if firefox is just up and sitting there. With Windows Media Player going, it lasts about 4 or 5 hours maybe. This is with me not interacting with it at all. When I do, it lasts much longer if I use the touchpad and leave the USB mouse unconnected.
I'm using Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit, OEM from Lenovo. I reinstalled it once using the system recovery utility from Lenovo, OneKey Recovery.
Performance is good right up until the point of the freeze, when everything immediately halts. Sounds will become a (near?) constant tone. The computer does not automatically restart or show any error screen.
ETA: I also ran it in safe mode for a day, simultaneously using WMP, Open Office, and USB mouse, and there were no problems.

I had a virus about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Dunno where it came from, completly random as i did not download anything bad. Avg scanned it, reported nothing, so i deleted my account and it aparently fixed it. So everythings fine for a few more days, then i get random bsods. First a freese from playing portal 2 and after a reboot the keyboard wasn't happy with its current drivers and reinstalled them from windows. Then hell broke open and i was getting bsods everwhere. By the way it was a Cyborg Gaming Keyboard if that helps. So i reinstalled the drivers from the offical site wih a different keyboard and it fixed it for a day or 2. Now im still getting them, even after a Re-install which by the way, Windows PE itself bsods before installing. Then after a new desktop, everyting clean but still the bsods.
I am getting:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
I have installed new memory and checked the old ones. They are both clean from faults. I have the dumps here. Which is all i can gather from a linux cd i used to get them. Which by the way dosn't get errors which means its windows based and to do with the hardware. One last thng is that i found some files missing from one of my games before i formatted so could it be bad sectors.

Just done a fresh windows 7 install a few weeks back and problems have been arising since. Mobo/CMOS battery has also just been freshly replaced.
[code]...
The system used to be overclocked (both CPU and memory). I have since downclocked the processor to its default speed and underclocked the memory and loosened the timings in a hope it may be related to the problem but nothing has helped so far.I also get complete freezes in windows 7 from time to time, requiring a reboot. Also run chdsk on both connected drives and nothing unusual has been reported. I have also run a check to verify that the windows file systems integrity is ok.

I think this all started after I did a RAM upgrade
It began with programs stopping (kernel32.dll, idon'tknowthenameanymore.dll)
But also games are just freezing after some time, mw2, ac, cod4. They all crash randomly.
Now sometimes the whole system freezes and I have to reset it.
Also, I get various BSOD's (ie IRQl not less or equal)
I think it has somethin to do with my memory,
I have 4 gb dual corsair 1066 kit combined with 2 gb Reaper 1066.
I am thinking of re-installing windows, because I didn't install it after the upgrade
Or do you guys think that the memory is corrupted?

My computer has been crashing a lot lately. Usually, the computer freezes and weird lines appear on the display when it happens. Other times it just shows a BSOD and restarts. It started happening around 2-3 weeks after my motherboard, processor and RAM were changed because a part of the previous motherboard had burnt. The previous motherboard was ASUS M3A78-EM, the onboard graphics was ATI Radeon HD 3200 and RAM was 2 GB DDR2.I took the PC to a my computer vendor after everything I tried had failed. Firstly, he diagnosed it as an issue because of improper earthing/grounding in the switchboard where I plugged the computer and the UPS. I got the earthing issue sorted but to no avail, it still hanged/freezed. The second time I took it to him he said that he might have to update the BIOS and when I brought it back the problem had apparently been fixed but that was only for a few days. After like 4-5 days it started happening again. Same weird lines - green, magenta, purple and all the rest of it - started appearing. The HDD LED stops when this happens. I only observed the LED today, though. Today the computer freezed without those weird lines on two out of the 5 or 6 times it happenrd, it looked like it had just hanged but the HDD LED had gone off.Sometimes the PC doesn't start up at all immediately after it has crashed. That's what led me to guess it's a hardware issue. Also, it happens in safe mode and Windows XP too (I dual boot Windows XP and Windows 7) and I remember it once happening even before the computer had completely booted.Computer details:Windows 7 32-bitASUS M4A78LT-M-LEAMD Athlon II X2 250ATI Radeon 3000 onboard graphics1 x 2 GB DDR3 RAM250 GB SATAMinidumps and NirSoft BlueScreenView HTML report: url..

I never thought ill be having a problem with installing windows. My old motherboard has died on me and i have replaced it with a new M3A79-T deluxe without changing my already installed windows 7 64. Everything worked fine if a little slow so I decided to frag everything and do a clean install but the installation kept freezing at expanding files. Following other forums i tried dban but it finished in about 2 seconds with errors. which made me think there is a problem with the hd. So then i installed Linux mint so i can use at least something in the mean time, it worked without a problem ruling out a faulty hard drive, I went back to trying to install win7. This time i wasn't even able to proceed from the partition menu as it kept complaining that windows cannot install onto this partition due to 0x80300001 error. I noticed that no partition was marked as the primary partition.I got around this by creating new partitions in the Linux installer then exiting and reformatting the partitions in windows installer (assuming this turns it into NTFS format) I was able to proceed into the installation but again got stuck at the same place with expanding files with error 0x8007045d after a few hours just like before.
Also i never installed drivers in windows installation but when i try to install sata drivers either from mobo cd or mobo website the installer doesn't recognize them, iv tried taking everything out but 1 ram stick, installing new BIOS, reseting CMOS, playing around with partitions, installing from different dvds I'm getting close to throwing this thing out of the window and getting a mac book.

I just installed a new ssd (X-25m) on a clients computer along with Windows 7 64bit and 8GB of RAM. The computer hangs for anywhere from 10 seconds to 30 seconds+ and sometimes just freezes up all together until I restart. Sometimes, it freezes icons and I can still use the mouse, and can double click to start a program, but it won't start up until it unfreezes, then everything I've opened suddenly opens all at once. Other times, even the mouse is frozen, and I have to wait 30s to a minute before I get it back.
Things I've tried- all Windows Updates, and updated all chipset drivers for the mobo (MSI P6N SLI Platinum)

At various, seemingly random points throughout using the computer, Windows 7 simply freezes or locks up. No BSOD or error code is given, it simply becomes completely unresponsive. The only means I have of shutting down/restarting is to hold the power button and force it to turn off.Using 32 bit Windows 7 Professional Downloaded and clean installed over XP Home a couple weeks ago Computer is an eMachines T3104 with a AMD Sempron 3100+ processor - circa 2005 In an effort to combat old hardware with the new Windows 7 and freezing, I upgraded to 2GB RAM, 430 watt PSU and an AGP 8x video card (Jaton 3DFORCE FX 5200TV) I tried to update the BIOS (currently Phoenix-Award 6.00PG) today. That program hangs up while Windows 7 continued to work. I'd love for it to be fully operational. It is not used for any gaming - online or otherwise. I use it for internet and school work (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc)

I have an Asus u56e laptop I got back in December 2011, and recently I did I clean reinstall of my system because it kept freezing and locking up while simply just browsing the web and listening to iTunes. I don't use this laptop for games, but after the clean install, I updated all my drivers, software, windows updates, etc. and I still get hangs and freezes that last 5 seconds to sometimes a full minute and all I'm doing is listening to music and browsing websites with maybe two or three tabs open in Firefox. I really have absolutely no idea what could be wrong so I came here seeking any kind of much needed help and assistance. I don't have a lot of programs installed and I don't run a lot of programs at once, just maybe one or two apps usually. My problem is I will be browsing on Firefox listening to music, then iTunes will hang for a few seconds and the music freezes, then Firefox freezes too sometimes for a few seconds also, then it goes back to normal, and this happens very very frequently to the point of frustration and I simply don't understand why a new clean laptop would have an issue such as this. Bad hard drive? Bloatware from Asus?Asus Laptop Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1, Intel Core i5 2.40GHz, 6.0GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 3000
