I`m trying to pin a speech recognition shortcut to the taskbar of a Windows 7 system so that the program starts when I click it.At the moment, I can only get as far as creating a shortcut that opens with the `Configure your Speech Recognition` window and I can`t seem to work out where the actual program starts from. I thought if I could find the exe file, I could create a shortcut from there and guessed it`d be in C/Windows/system32 but unless it`s camouflaged, it doesn`t seem to be there.

1. reboot in safe mode
2. move the shortut folder in and out
3. closed Explorer.exe and reopen it.
4. the last thing i've tried was to use the system restore as many say htat would help the problem. but when i want's to run system Restore it comes with the fatal error "0x80090067", so i cannot restore. WTF.
I have already reported to Sony to but i heard their take their time but thats the one thing what i dont have at the moment so i know many people here know about that stuff to. So anyway. Some time ago SP1 launched for Windows 7. I installed but it but something went it wrong and it didn't install correcly and then i was forced to use System restore. Everything worked and i haven't used SP1 because i don't want to risk screwing up my computer before some important things, i got plenty of time later for that . The problem is after the system restore every time Vegas launches i get a error : Sony Vegas pro 10 an error occurred starting Vegas Pro Error 0x80070002 (message missing).

However it has now caused a different problem ... with the shortcut iconsAlthough I can now pin programs, the original shortcut arrows on my icons have been replaced by large white rectangles as though the original arrow image cannot be found.I tried deleting the IsShortcut key in the registry and this fixes the look of the icons. I am using Windows 7 together with Windows Live email, which has been working ok until of late.My internet provider is Yahoo and emails in there are ok, but I prefer Windows Live email however this will not work when downloading emails as an error message comes up saying the server is in error and one has to reapetedly click on receive emails until they are all downloaded,surely Windows email should work no matter who your provder is can someone enlight me as to why BT Yahoo fails with Windows live emails.

So I'm trying to upgrade from the 6801 build (32-bit) to the 7100 build so both my laptops are on the same build.... 7100 is way more stable also..
Anyways I put in my Windows 7 7100 DVD, restart the comp... I hit a key to boot from CD, it tries to boot and comes up with a screen that says:
"Windows boot Manager"

And I cant get 6801 off this comp. It's now starting be become unstable, it will blue screen and restart on my often.
Anyone tell me what is wrong when this message is displayed, and how to fix it?

I have already tried:
-deleted .reg files.
-disable enable context files with autoruns or shellexview
-replace explorer.exe
-replace shell32.dll
-deleted broken .reg files with Ccleaner.exe
I can't find anything on this and all 501/505 message posts are related to Windows XP not 7. But, I have a 501/505 error message in my Windows 7. Funny thing, it is a problem with all my browsers (IE and Firefox) and I cannot access any website with the www. prefix. Urls without this prefix works fine. The only thing I can think of is that I downloaded and installed a Java update yesterday. Did this cause the 501/505 error problem?
