My father and brother each has a separate Windows 7 desktop, and neither one has any problems with connectivity. There is also a Windows XP machine on the same network, and it has no problems with connectivity. The XP is attached to a shared printer that can be successfully accessed from any desktop machine on the network. Now comes the interesting bit: I have a laptop PC which I upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows Vista x64 Home Premium. I am able to see the two Windows 7 computers in the Network list, but when I double-click on them, I get the message:Windows cannot access \MACHINE-NAME Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose.Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found. All the machines on my network have a static IP address. When I try to access any of the other Windows 7 computers on my network, I get the same message as above but with the following two lines replacing the last two lines above:
Error code: 0x80004005
Unspecified error
The troubleshooter found this problem:Windows can't communicate with the device or resource (IP address) - Detected I am unable to see the XP machine on the network list, and until recently, I have been able to view its files via IP address only. I have tried every solution I found so far, including:Disabling IPv6 Opening the desired ports in Windows Firewall Enabling Network Discovery and File and Printer Sharing Releasing and renewing the IP configuration Flushing the DNS cache Clean boot for diagnostic test Enabling all P2P services?
I installed Windows 7 on my computer a little more than a week ago from Windows Vista Home Premium. My home network worked fine, and I was able to connect to the internet, share files and everything perfectly. However, starting yesterday other computers on the network could not see me and I could only see one or two other computers on the network, and I couldn't see the main computer, i.e. the one with the wireless router.
When I try to click on that computer in Windows Explorer, the green loading bar starts to fill up, but then a window pops up that says "Windows cannot access "(Name of the computer). Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise there might be a problem with your network.
To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose. Error code: 0x80070035. The network path was not found." I click Diagnose and no errors were found. I tried removing the network from my network list and resetting it up, and nothing. What should I do?
I keep getting Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found error whenever I try to connect to any other computer (running windows 7 ultimate) on my network. I have another computer with windows 7 ultimate that does not have this problem. Firewalls are disabled on all computers.
Computers all ping fine. Can ping by name too. If I try to connect via IP address, I get Error Code: Error0x80004005 Unspecified error
Ok, I have a laptop and a desktop. Desktop is currently running 7 x64 and laptop is running 7 x86.
Few weeks ago I was able to access my LAPTOP from my DESKTOP normally by using the Network in the explorer. I was prompted to key in my Username and Password of my LAPTOP and I gained access after.
Now, I have no idea what happened to my DESKTOP. I am able to access other computers but not my LAPTOP. It keeps stating Network path not found with error code 0x80070035. Troubleshooting indicates no problems found.
I do dual-boot with Vista x64 on my DESKTOP and I am able to gain access to my LAPTOP using Vista.
One of the workaround I got for Windows 7 is to create HomeGroup and use my LAPTOP to join it and I can gain access to Network after that.
So, is this a HomeGroup bug and any fix for it?
EDIT: Never mind, I just re-create my password on my laptop and it's fine now. So, it's really weird.

I have had my vista pc and my windows 7 (basic) net book setup to let me share files (through an Netgear DG834PN Route) for around 18 months with no problems.
However as of 3 days ago I can no longer do this and non of the network tools can fined or solve the problem. I can uses the internet though my rooter, see my vista pc on the network as well as the media streaming (windows one) thing.
I can also access my net book hard drive from my pc no problem and transfer/delete files as well?
When I do try to connect the following error message is given: "Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found"
P.s. I know windows 7 basic has not create home group ability, but it worked with the one I made on vista. I can not afford to upgrade my copy of windows 7 so that is totally out of the question.
I have a readyNAS Duo where I keep all my music files, a few days ago the Raidar program stopped allowing me to browse the drives saying to check spelling and error code 0x80070035 was displayed, I can access the NAS via it's web page but this does not allow me to access the file structure. This is via my router. If I connect the ethernet cable from the NAS straight into the PC all is fine?
In a network with 10 computers, the PC-2 can access everyone but the PC-5. All other computers can access each other and PC-5 can also access everyone else.
Where is the bug? The PC-2 has the bug right? Why is it only one PC that the PC-2 cannot access?
Basic routines are checked I think: All running windows 7 All having same network sharing settings, Network discovery ON (both home and public) File sharing ON (both home and public) Public folder sharing ON (both home and public) Password OFF (both home and public)
Error message say: "Check the spelling of the name." (?!?!)
So over the past few days, I've painstakingly setup a new Sandy Bridge PC just the way I like it and was preparing to transplant it into my existing system when I discovered I can't access any network shares! It worked fine when it was a completely clean install with just the driver loaded.
System A: DIY Sandy Bridge PC with Windows 7 x64 SP1. System B: DIY Athlon 64 X2 PC with Windows 7 x86. System C: Gateway Notebook with Windows 7 x86.
All systems are using MSE for AV, have the firewall and password protected sharing OFF. Network discovery, file and printer sharing, and public folder sharing are on. A gives me error code 0x80070035 (network path not found) when I try to acceses any shares on the network, even its own. A only sees B on the network, not C. B and C can access all shares, inlcuding A's shares. All the systems can ping each other. I thought perhaps when I was setting up A that I disabled a service or feature that caused this, but I've set everything back to way it was and it still doesn't work. I've also tried a second NIC.
In the last few months I have been getting error messages in my Yahoo mail account. It will not go to next email and returns an 'Error Code 5' or recently an 'Error Code 15'. It says "Sorry for the inconvenience. You have stumbled upon an unexpected, temporary problem." This happens every other email. What are these codes and why is this happening?
i need the driver for windows 7....error code 28.My laptop is a philips x58......please help....the message i get is Mass Storage Controller Driver not installed
i recently got a computer from my aunt, and decided to put windows 7 on it. Before I installed it, I put in a Geforce 8800 graphics card and a (2nd) cd rom drive. After 20 failed attempts to install windows 7 (it kept freezing at the completing installation part) it worked after i disconnected the new graphics card and one of the hard drives. Now, however, i keep on getting periodic blue screens with the following error messages : Memory Management, and PFN_List Corrupt. I ran a memory diagnostic and it said that the memory is fine. What is wrong with my computer? I also ran a system repair thing from the windows 7 disk, and it came up with this error: System File Integrity Check and Repair Error Code 0X490
My Hardware is:
AMD Anthlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 2 Hitachi HDT725032VLA SCSI 320 gb hard drives Nvidia Geforce 8800 GS Graphics Card 3gb of system memory
I am using Windows 7 32-bit Premium. I'm trying to run a Batch file with several dll's, and I'm getting this error:Banner: Error Occurred - Add LicenseBody: Unable to enumerate resources. Error Code: 15106I have tried to google this, but I haven'tAlso, if I even try to register any of the Batch's DLLs manually, I get this error:Banner: RegSvr32body: The Module "C:Bla Bla Bla...." was loaded but the call to "INSERT DLL HERE" failed with error code 0x80028011c.For more information about this problem, search online using the error code as a search term.

I replaced my power supply and now I get a 0x80070035 error when trying to map my network storage server. I've had this mapped for over a year, and usually just need to enter the password to re-connect after a re-boot. I've tried disabling the firewall, anti-virus, file and printer sharing, etc. I looked for the extra network entries that others have said to delete, but I don't have any.
This computer is running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. The network storage server is running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. From the 32 bit machine the 64 bit machine shows up, even in explorer.
From the 64 bit machine the 32 bit does not show up except under the Network and sharing center, selecting "see full map" shows both machines.
I can't see how changing a power supply could cause a problem. I tried going back to a restore point from last week in case a "windows update" caused the problem, which did not show up until the latest re-boot, but that did not help either.
I am having great difficulty downloading and installing AVG 2012. Keeps on saying goodbye before installing and i am getting message that says MSI engine failed to install. Can't download. have tried 2 system restore points but still same.
I have changed my graphic card (MSI N560GTX-TI) and new PSU (Corsair GS 700) and now my PC does NOT start, it gives me an error message: "error code biohd-2 warning no drives detected".Checked the cables, SATA ports, hardware diagnose, reset CMOS, removed the motherboard battery and nothing...My HD is a WD Caviar Green 2TB.

Windows 7 will not create a backup and restore point. I have a external HD with 163 GB free and the error code says that I do not have enough space to create a system image. The moderators at Windows Answers have nothing but suggestions, no cures. Obviously MS is aware of this problem yet they have not put out a patch or update to repair this problem, any suggestions for a not-tech?
Was in the process of backing-up my computer and received the error code that back-up stopped. Details showed error code 0x80070570 was the reason.I did a Google search and came-up with this forum site and I saw a post re the error code but it was referencing it during an install. I was not trying to install anything (even though I have not been able to reinstall Roxio Creator sinceDec) and was wondering if the link (to Uniblue registry software)
I have laptop Toshiba Satellite L775-109 with OS Win7-64bit and when I try to fill the Windows credentials ( control panel>credential manager) I receive refusal in the form of error code 0x80070057 and explanation that the parameter is incorrect?

I installed a new hard drive two months ago due to the fact I've been having minor problems with this refurbished pc. No problem. I installed updates, Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Defender, or so I thought. When trying to use any of them as well as system restore, and error code pops up stating Microsoft Security Client , An error has occured in the program during initialization. If this problem continues, contact your system administrator. Is my pc possessed?
