IE9 Stops Working When Trying To View Page With WMP/midi Embedded?
Dec 13, 2011I created some Christmas cards with music thru embedded midi files and could view and hear everything until today. Now when I try to viiew one of them, or go to any site that uses WMP for midis, I get an error message that IE has stopped working and will notify me of a solution. If I remove the midi file from the page, then the page functions properly. I went to my "Manage Add-Ons" and WMP is enabled. What else can I do?

If I change the focus to some other program, then click back in the Word document, I see a box where the mouse is currently located (not the cursor - have to click again to get that to move) which shows information pertaining to one of the data points in one of the Excel charts.If I move the mouse over the op-up box, is disappears until the mouse is moved out of the box. If I click anyplace in the document, the box goes away.I have been experiencing this behavior ever since Office 2010 was installed - I do not remember if this was an issue with Office 2003. The behavior is clearly wrong and is quite annoying. Does anyone know what is causing this problem, and more importantly, how to get rid of it

DVD Tray opens and light comes on but does not play DVD. 1st USB port on left side gets - USB Device Not Recognized.One under it works and one on the right side works.OS Windows7 Ultimate. It is running kind of screwy so I wanted to reinstall Windows7 but with the DVD not operating Can't do it. Seems like maybe something in the register got erased or corrupted. Feb 28, 2011i'm bad at explaining problems but ill try. i had a dual boot of windows 7 and xp. the win7 OS messed up so i formatted that drive and reinstalled, now when i booted up for the first time it said something about the MBR being missing. so i booted into the win7 cd menu and tried to repair but it said "this version of recovery console is not compatible with the installation" or something like that...so the only way i can get into windows now is to keep the cd in the tray and wait for it to load passed the "press any button to boot from the cd" then it will boot straight into win7. i also formatted the drive with XP on it. so what i need help with is fixing the win7 MBR in windows, i tried using easybcd but it doesnt seem to work.

Aug 16, 2012I posted that IE 9 (and Firefox) not working properly. I now find that Google chrome is working, so I researched this problem. None relate to my specific problem and nothing new in 2012. I have been using win 7 with IE9 for 12 months so no problems after installing and no error messages. It just stopped working one day. I cant do a systems repair because I received 18 updates yesterday. I have 32 bit Win 7 Professional.I dont want to use Google chrome as my IE set up as I want it and password program wont work in it. This is a must for me. Also a reinstall is not an option as I will lose everything. I could do a restore and reinstall updates.

It Reads CD/DVD but after that it shows an error: Windows cant access this disk. The disk might be corrupt. Make sure that the disk uses a format the Windows recognizes. If the disk is unformatted you need to format it before using.
