Convert From AHCI To IDE By Editing File Manually?

My mainboard was ASUS p5n-mx, its support AHCI so when I install SSD on my pc, its using AHCI mode instead of IDE.This board bios IC is damage now, so I replace it with new motherboard chipset G41 southbrigde ICH7 which is not support AHCI.I have dual boot system which install on separate hardrive, windows xp which on my HDD only need to update driver but its succesfully boot. Another one is Windows 7 installed on my ssd now couldn't boot at all.I'm getting error when boot to windows 7 even on safe mode, I check on safe mode its stuck on classpnp.sys, I tried to googling and found out that is issue with AHCI vs IDE mode on my SSD.on BIOS i don't see AHCI option, only IDE so can I change the configuration of my SSD from AHCI to IDE?I can boot to windows xp, and see my ssd drive windows files but I don't know how to change ssd configuration on that installation.

Is there any way to manually add a ocx file . For some weird reason my ip camera when I go and try and view the video - I do not get a pop up to install the ocx file .

Can locate the required Logitech folder OK and open and examine the 10 .xml files for the various controllers OK.However when I try this within Notepad, can only get as far as the Logitech Folder.If the Folder is highlighted with the cursor all 10 files are listed. If I try to open the files, get the message ...No items match your search....Not sure how to open so that I can edit?

Its pretty nice, except that when I get to the login page for windows, it shows a picture of a finger print instead of my user pic. i found out that the image for the fingerprint scanner is part of a file called "BioCredProv.dll" in the system32 folder. So I made a cop of it, edited the copy with a dll editor so that the bitmap image is that of my user account, but now I can't replace the file in the system 32 folder. I've tried deleting the original and replacing it with the edited one, I've added 1 to the end of the edited file's name so it is "BioCredProv1.dll" and then attempted to change the registry to use this new file (but it gives me an error saying "Cannot edit: Error writing the value's new contents." I know it can be changed as I've seen another forum where two people gave two ways to change it (one using an ubuntu linux system to change the system32 file which I don't know how to do, and the other by creating his own new registry file, which I once again don't know how to do.)

I overcame all the known troubles with editing MP3 tags, it's no problem. Since I don't like the presentation of my MP3's in iTunes I wrote a program in html/JavaScript that does all the work I want. I'm not a great programmer, just QuickBasic (Very Good!) and html/JavaScript. But now I meet a quite different problem. My program reads tags from the MP3 file itself. Reading 3 tags in over 5000 MP3's takes about 70 secs (Win 7 x64). To speed that up I place those tags (tit2, tpe1 and tcon) in the beginning of the file. I have to do that manually for each file with a text-editor, time consuming! But... is there a way to change the place of the tags in a MP3 file in a more automatic way?

Is it possible to edit the .ISO or anyother Image file with some software? I created a .ISO file but i forgot to add some files so i'm looking for a software that can inject files or folders into the image file or we can simply open the file in a particular program and edit them.

i was dual booting Windows 7 and xp and then i formatted my xp partition,installed a fresh copy of xp and now it automatically loads windows xp, it doesn't show where i use to select the OS to load
my disk is partitioned c drive for Windows 7 and d drive for win xp
this is the contents of my xp's boot.ini file:

I open a txt file and edit it, then when I try to save it i can't. It offers to save it to the same location but as a different file. And if I try to just save it with the same name it won't overwrite the original. I just want to "save" and have it save the edit and close.

I have the GA-EX58-Extreme Board and have just installed the pre release of Windows 7 7600 64 bit. Normally i have experience to get the BSOD when in staling with AHCI active in bios so i change to IDE mode. Installation went flawless and also the change to AHCI mode on Intel ICH10R controler went normal.
As always i got problem to change the J micron controller to AHCI and of cause i got the BSOD again. I installed the latest R1.17.48.16 driver and tryed again but no luck. Can some tell me what i am doing wrong. ? I have a hardisk and a dvd drive attached to the J micron Sata connection.

A friend of mine has downloaded some texts from his mobile because he needs proof of something for a court case, this means dates of the texts are needed. It's downloaded as an xml file but it comes up as a bunch of code. The only really readable thing are the texts themselves but the dates are just a string of numbers now. I am using windows 7 as the OS.I have installed MS Office 2010 Beta, and having Adobe Reader 9.I came know how to convert word documents to pdf files using MS Office 2010.I had seen an article " how to convert pdf files to word documents?" on a site.The given procedure is, by clicking insert tab in MS office 2010, and then by clicking Object button, and clicking "create from file" tab and then browse pdf file.I have followed the procedure given. But it is converting only the first page of the pdf file, but not all the pages.I am here to know "How to convert the entire pdf file into word document" using MS Office 2010 ( without installing any application).
