Reducing Wav File Size (audio File) For Powerpoint?
Nov 5, 2011I had completed a beautiful 82-slide PowerPoint presentation, but the wav file I embedded was HUGE (about 200 MB) and not to my choosing. I just had to have the music a certain length to span across 82 slides. Is there ANY WAY to reduce the size of this music wav file (so that it conforms to the 50 MB max file size for PowerPoint). I would rather embed this music file than to have a link.

Feb 26, 2011I am running Office 2010 on Windows 7 64-bit. I just created my first PowerPoint presentation containing 30 slides, all containing images, with a total of 35 images overall. All of the images together add up to less than 6 MB. During the creation of the slides I was careful to follow the guidelines for Sizing Digital Images For Powerpoint. However, when I save the presentation to disk, it is over 55 MB! I have tried to Compress Pictures from the Format toolbar-- no effect. In fact, file size of the presentation was larger after this. If I go to File>Info>Optimize Media Compatibility, this option is GRAYED OUT and does not work! I want to be able to send this presentation as an email attachment, but 55MB is way too big!

Dec 9, 2012My mainboard was ASUS p5n-mx, its support AHCI so when I install SSD on my pc, its using AHCI mode instead of IDE.This board bios IC is damage now, so I replace it with new motherboard chipset G41 southbrigde ICH7 which is not support AHCI.I have dual boot system which install on separate hardrive, windows xp which on my HDD only need to update driver but its succesfully boot. Another one is Windows 7 installed on my ssd now couldn't boot at all.I'm getting error when boot to windows 7 even on safe mode, I check on safe mode its stuck on classpnp.sys, I tried to googling and found out that is issue with AHCI vs IDE mode on my SSD.on BIOS i don't see AHCI option, only IDE so can I change the configuration of my SSD from AHCI to IDE?I can boot to windows xp, and see my ssd drive windows files but I don't know how to change ssd configuration on that installation.

Oct 15, 2011I use tags to keep things organized. I can edit and update the tags on Word 2003 files just fine. But when I try to edit and save them on the newer files I get the following error:I've checked ownership and permissions, they both appear to be set properly, and that gives a different error anyway.I've also noticed that the older Word 2003 files allow for a thumbnail icon of the document, but this doesn't work for 2007 even if the thumbnail box is checked. I can edit the document information inside Word of course, but that doesn't show up in Windows Explorer searches.
