Is there any solution about Restoring back the original Start Menu Icons.
And in the Right Click menu the Option that Says "Pin to Task Bar" or to "Pin To Start menu" have been Disappeared too.

Nov 21, 2010The "My Computer" icon is missing from my desktop. It's also missing from the Administrator account and I can't get it show either on any new account that I create. I use here at home Windows Professional. All other icons from the Desktop Icon Settings windows work fine. (e.g.: Control panel, Network etc...). I know people will try to give the basic solutions so I will just say that I have done all the basic things like check "show on desktop", checking "My Computer" in Desktop icon setting window, viewshow desktop icons, refreshing the icon cache, using 3rd party software like Ultimate Windows Tweaker, using Godmode, and yes.... I restarted my computer. I bought this computer 2 months ago and it has been like this since I got it. I just dragged a shortcut out to the DT but it bugs me.

Feb 25, 2012No matter how I try to access the Icon Notification Area to customize hidden task bar icons, Win 7 freezes to a great extent. I am running 64 bit Win 7 SP1.
Under these conditions, when I put my pointer onto the task bar it changes into a hand with a pointing index finger. The Icon Notification Area will not show icons and all I get there is an interminable spinning blue circle.
The Task Manager will not correct this condition and I have to close my windows session manually with the power button. It seems something has been corrupted but I am at a loss. I have run chkdsk /f and sfc to no good effect.
I am running some 32 bit programs including MS Office Pro.
Right Click COMPUTER Icon, MANAGER Has SHIELD By It

but still wondering why the shield and non launching the VISTA way

I used Windows Backup and saved it to my external hard drive. Now I have almost identical files and folders there and on the now visible Recovery drive. TBUH, when making the backup several options appeared and I checked one without being 110% sure it was right.
Did possibly I do something not right? What need I do to correct anything wrong, including which folders and files I may safely delete? What advice do I need for future?
