Firefox Default Downloader - Set A Limit?
Jun 7, 2011so I've been using FF forever and it seems and I should know this, but haven't had any luck.Is there a way to set a max download, so lets say I'm downloading more than one file, instead of having them so all and once, put a limit of one download at a time.

Jun 9, 2012I just realized that Canon didn't update their driver for my CanoScan Lide 50 Scanner for Windows 7 64-bit. I tried to find a work around and came across an article that said the CanoScan Lide 60 driver works..ersAndSoftwareBut the folder I got with 7-Zip didn't have the file in it that it said it should, so I tried to just install it directly.Windows flashed a popup asking for permission to install, right over where it said where it would be installed, and when I clicked OK, that other window disappeared. Now I can't find where it's installed.The article explained that I have to manually update the driver. I found the scanner in the device manager, but since I can't find the driver anywhere, I'm stumped. I wouldn't even be able to uninstall it

Aug 8, 2011after a recent Windows 7 update all of a sudden my notebook cannot find my scanner. it prints fine thru same machine, but will not recognize scan function - says WAI driver missing. I never deleted any drivers. I have fixed it with a system restore, but it coninually updates and sys rest is extreme remedy that causes other problems.

2.Subsequently I made the locker invisible using "Folder Protect" software.
3.When I was trying to add more files to the locker created in 1 the locker tried to "increase it's size on the run"...
4.This process failed and "Folder Lock" shut down and since then I cannot locate the locker anymore on my PC nor can I see it in "Folder Protect"
5.Having read on a forum, I uninstalled "Folder Protect" and reinstalled...but that did not help..I still could not find the Locker.
6.I even uninstalled and reinstalled "Folder Lock"...even this did not help
7.I understand the lockers created by "Folder Lock" are UNDELETABLE.
8.Clearly my locker is somewhere on my hard disk but I am unable to locate it.

My printer/scanner is connected using ethernet.
For a long time there was no reaction from HP to support
their scanners . As far as I can see there still is no reaction ....

Cannot Communicate With Scanner
Jan 14, 2012When selecting Epson Scan, I get the following error message:
'Cannot communicate with the scanner'
I have turned the printer off and back on again. Removed the power lead and plugged back in.I have removed the USB lead and tried it in other ports, without hubs. I have also tried a brand new USB lead.If I use PaintShop Pro X2 and select Import > Twain Acquire > I get the same message plus another message - 'No scanner Found', but if I select Twain source, I get the 'EPSON NX130/SX130/TX130/ME 340.
I can use the printer and copy functions with no problems, so, I am assuming it may be something to do with the OS - Win 7 32 bit as I have tried using WIA and get the same results.

Everytime I use my computer and go online, it works fine for a little while and then suddenly it slows right down and everytime I try to go anywhere it just says not responding and freezes up. The only way to fix it is to restart, and then it will be fine for a bit and then starts acting up again. I also can't see my emoticons in windows live messenger anymore either. It just shows whatever you type to make it but not the actual emoticon. I think I have a virus but my scanner hasn't found anything.

Scanner works with Paint and Omnipage, so I know it's not the scanner. Worked with MS and Epson and of course they point fingers at the other. how to get the scanner working with all programs again.
