What Number Is Phone Dialer Calling
Jun 17, 2011I'm having trouble getting the Phone Dialler to do what I want it to. I'm trying to get it to prefix all UK mobile numbers (i.e. numbers beginning 07) with the access code 18185. My latest attempt is to save the number in Outlook Contacts in the format (07) 970 111231, and to create a dialler rule for "area code" 07 which dials 18185 plus the area code. This seems to be dialling the access code correctly since it's going to the right service provider, but the service provider is then telling me that the number dialled is incorrect. If I dial the number manually (i.e. if I dial 1818507970111231) then it works fine.How do I tell exactly what Windows Dialler is dialling? Is there a log file of similar?

Feb 22, 2010I just installed Windows 7 64bit. I use a Samsung Rant m540 Cell Phone for my internet connection. I can't get high speed on my road so its a lot better than dial up. Any way I've used it for a few years and now I cant seem to get it installed. It works fine on other comps and I had a driver for win xp 64bit that works. I got it installed on the windows 7 and it shows up as the modem and says its working properly but it wont respond when I try to query the modem or connect to the internet. I am pretty sure I just need a driver for the windows 7 for the phone as modem. But Sprint does not have a driver or program which supports it and neither does Samsung which created the phone. I googled for at least 5 hours with no success ive tried a few differnt drivers and no luck.

Oct 6, 2012Received an iPhone 4 S. D/loaded iTunes (for 64bit) and installed. Connected phone via usb port.iTunes does not show phone icon; no connection or synchronisation can occur.I have spent ages looking on the Apple site (boy they are tricky over there!) and the trouble shooter offered didn't help.As far as I can tell it's a conflict problem possible with anti virus (MSE).What I don't know how to do is: -properly test the usb port (which works fine for remote mouse plug in, any temporary flash drives via a hub) and test for what is preventing the two from recognising one another.

For example, you just run this command and WDS will search for every file associated with 'ref123':

Now how can I do something similar in Windows 7?
Since Windows Search is not a component part of the OS, it is not longer installed in C:Program Files and instead now consists of 3 different exes which are located in the System32 folder:
SearchIndexer.exe
SearchProtocolHost.exe
SearchFilterHost.exe
Anyone know how this can be done?

I've captured raw MPEG4 AVC/H.264 footage but have yet to do anyediting...but just family stuff which I'm looking forward to.Should I leave the SSD for just OS/Apps and partition 200GB on the outer edge of the 1TB HDD for scratch and the rest for data?

Jun 19, 2010For unknown reason, I suddenly encountered problem with highlighting text on Internet Explorer (8) and words document (office 2003). I also have problem with dragging a cell (for copying a formula) to other cells in excel. I tried to play around with my keyboard (pause/break and scroll lock key), sometimes it worked for once, but I it won't work the next time I tried.
FYI, I am using windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and a razer keyboard (using windows default driver). I probably can try to install the driver from razor, however, i thought there is probably a simple fix for the issue i.e. a certain key from the keyboard got activated by accident (my little daughter sometimes punched the keyboard for fun).
Can No Longer Copy / Paste Actual Contents For Addition In Empty Cell
Mar 22, 2011Quite spontaneously and for no apparent reason, I can no longer copy/paste a simple "add contents of 2 cells" to empty cells (e.g. e3+d4, to the next cells down the column, etc.). No matter what I do it will only copy the actual contents i.e. the result of the previous calculation. What I have tried:-
1. Deleting all contents and formats from the range of cells and starting over;
2. Using the drop-down menu of the paste button to select the "paste-special / formula" option (which keeps jumping back to the first default option at the top of the list);
3. Running the Office diagnostics built-in software off the microsoft top-left button to detect faults and anomalies - Nothing works and I am at a loss.......most peculiar...........

Aug 9, 2012MS thinks that one of my PCs is running Windows 7 that's not genuine. It is genuine - at least I bought it from Amazon and paid �141 for it so that - to me - means it's genuine. It may not be but neither Amazon nor MS will take any responsibility for it not being genuine so I've given up with them both. I think that the issue arises because of hardware changes I've made. Oh - yes, I've lost the box with the key on it too.I use this PC very little and when I first first got the black screen and messages after I installed a larger hard drive and reinstated the drive image from an Acronis backup. I stupidly forgot to reinstate the drive signature. Then it happened again when I changed the ITX motherboard.Every now and then it gives me the "black screen" treatment. I fix it by restoring a drive image and turning off Windows 7 updates.If the damned thing is told not to call home then it shouldn't should it? It seems to give me a month or two and then goes psycho on me like HAL9000!
