I just want to know if it's cpu's problem or my nv video card (or driver)because I googled it, some says 124 also could be caused by video card,so all I need to know is which one has the problem, cpu or video card.

I've been trying to back up my laptop for the past few weeks. After a few minutes of starting my back up, my system would BSOD.
These are the info of my laptop
Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
- The original installed OS on the system? Factory Install
- An OEM or full retail version? OEM
- What is the age of system (hardware)? 6 months
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) I have never reinstalled the OS.
I've tried updating drivers and such. My next step is a full reinstall. After the initial crash it seems to randomly BSOD unless I attempt to run windows update which nearly always kills it.

My laptop will have a BSOD when I have several tabs open in Firefox. Also if the computer is left running overnight, every morning I awake to a non-functional computer. The screen never turns on and nothing is happening. The HDD indicator light is constantly on when this happens. Attached is the past 5 dump reports.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have been experiencing lots of BSODs lately, all at random and all showing different reasons. At first, I thought that I had a memory problem - so, I removed one of the RAM modules and the laptop worked OK for a few days. However, today the BSODs started again.I ran Driver Verifier for a few hours and started getting BSOD after BSOD.I checked the minidump and (from what I saw), the reason is probably netbt.sys:

I recently installed Firefox and a file downloading addin for Firefox. Everything was fine until I needed to restart my computer. Once I restarted everything seemed to load and I got to my desktop then immediately I got the blue screen message. I could only get the following part of the error message before the screen went away: 0X0000008E I can restart in safe mode but have been unable to fix the problem. I have uploaded the info from the SF Diagnostic Tool.

I've been getting a series of BSODs on my laptop recently. It appears they only occur while uTorrent is running - which is rather puzzling seeing how I've used it for months without issues and I have made no changes to it recently (it also takes some time after the start of the program for Windows to crash, so I'm not entirely sure uTorrent is really the culprit.)Incidentally I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on my 1.5 years old laptop. Windows came preinstalled and has been reinstalled by the Sony support less than 5 months ago (together with a new HD and motherboard)[CODE]

I also get blue screen when I run the extended test, or run a chkdsk. HD tune pro tells me that there are 1461 pending sectors and 1455 uncorrectable errors. Is this bad? 1464 pending sectors on my HD but 0 reallocated.
I own a Dell XPS M1710 running Windows7 (5 years old). The graphics card has already been replaced once (after 1 year) due to a well know heating problem (made tolerable by cooling pad). I get Blue screen and Memory Parity Error some of the times I start up but mostly it freezes at the black screen point. Memory check gives all clear and I have tried swapping out all of the RAM with (working) modules but still get the same error message. Tried updating the graphics driver, no change. Tried disabling the Graphics device in Device manager and this had a slightly different blue screen but the same basic result.I suspect the graphics card Nvidia Go 7950 GTX because the fault first happened while playing an MP4 file.

I recently had some problems in my windows. Out of many problems in windows 2 were that windows update was not working and secondly dialogue boxes did not have texts on it. I ran a quick WDO on windows from Boot and the scan was successful. It found some Malwares and removed it aftet which the above 2 mentioned problems ran away.. But; when I did a full Scan so that problems completly eridate away; BSOD occurred and could not complete the task.. I tried it twice an both the times same thing happened..
View 9 Replies View Relatedplaying battlefield 3 i've experienced both bsod and the program to stop running. when the bsod occurs the screen blacks out then the video comes back but the image is made out of a bunch of lines like the video split up and moved around. then the bluescreen comes up. (not sure how else to explain how it looks). theres also a deep beap sound that plays sometimes as well.
i've also experienced an issue with other games, most recently europa universalis 3 where the game stops running as well. sometimes the game runs fine without crash and i've played for 3 - 4 hours on two different occasions but the play after only lasts a few minutes. my drivers are all up to date so i don't think they are the issue.just now i ran a program through the action center that i guess looked for solutions to problems and every problem that showed up is a "video hardware error"

i read somewhere that audio drivers could cause issues. i have high definition audio as well as the realtek audio driver.i don't know if i should upload those files that the problem report reported so don't know. i've also been formatting videos for Internet and running my cpu at 85% so i don't think its the cpu overheating like i've heard can happen.
Earlier today my dad turned on our computer to a blue screen. It told him to restart the computer if he had never seen it before, and he did. However, we cannot get it to start back up. When we press the power button, the fan runs (harder than usual), but the monitor stays asleep.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWell I will get right to it. Its a desktop I built about 4 mths ago. I was goofing off all day, ran perfect. I got my package from Tiger.com, yay new memory. I also bought a drawing tablet that came w/ photoshop ele 8 and artrage. I promptly shut down my system, installed the new stick of matching memory, Corsair DDR3 4g 1600mhz, in slot two and four, with the old stick. I was only running one stick due to an order error. I reboot. The system recognizes it, runs fine. I install photoshop ele 8 and art rage along with an update to java. So far no problems. I turn the system off to plug in the drawing tablet per the instructions it came with. When it goes to reboot, i get to the windows loading screen, the animation just starts to load when i get a flash BSOD then the moniter shuts off to no signal and the computer just sits there fans and all running. I am using Win 7 home premium 64. I can get into BIOS. I have run the launch repair. I have tried putting the memory back to the previous configuration. I have run the memory diagnostic tool. I have tried system restore but no points to restore. I have tried to repair install with Windows disc, says disc is incompatible with current version, its the same disc i used to install windows the first time. I have tried to reinstall windows twice, still does it. I have attempted to make a repair disc, didnt work. If you can tell me how to get dump files from this state i would be happy to do so. If it helps at all i am using an SSD as my main hard disk, i have a second drive but there is nothing on it atm. I am just at a loss, i know a good bit about computers but not far enough, lol. My desktop is my baby and i really wanna get it up and running again.
