I seem to get a BSOD whenever the computer is under a load ex: playing online games or d/l torrents. For some reason the last .dmp file that I have is from 2/1/2012 but I got a BSOD 2 times in the last hour. I have done memory tests in the bios and windows and it said that they are fine. My laptop is a hp pavillion dv7-1448dx I am running a amd turion x2 w/ 4gig memory I will post the last 2 .dmp files. Can someone please let me know whats going on I think that my MOBO is going bad and I hope thats not the case.
I have a Lenovo Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium on it (32 bit). Everything worked fine until all the sudden the computer stoped working and there was this dash beeping... appears and disappears... It happend before the loading of the windows. On the BIOS stage.
So I told my girlfriend to bring the laptop over so I could take a look at the problem. It took her about a week or two to remember that she need to bring the computer over, so here we are... I turned on the computer and I noticed that everything is fine until the loading of the windows stage has come... And its just stuck. I turn it on and it gets me right to the Safe Mode and Last Known good stage... I tried starting it normally, in safe mode and every other possible way but the safe mode doesn't work, the last know good config is loading but stuck at the windows logo and then it gives me a BSOD for less than a second and restarts the computer.
I dont know what to do. I entered the Windows CD that I have from when I bought the laptop and I click on "Repair" but it doesn't show any windows. Its just stuck again.
I have no idea what to do, and I need the files on this laptop so I can't reinstall windows just yet...
So last night I was on my comp, and got hit with a BSOD out of nowhere. System restarted, and now when windows loads, the desktop icons wont show up, and neither will the taskbar, then the whole thing just freezesI try to run in safe mode, and this will work for only about 1 minute or so until it freezes as well.
i noticed my computer needed a restart after downloading a windows 7 update. I restarted it and now its in a continuous bsod to startup repair. everytime i get this:

I have tried chkdsk c: /f /r and no luck. Tried updating bios. I have tried a system restore but it doesnt work. i cant boot into safemode either.
I have a Compaq persario CQ62 laptop i was on facebook about a week ago and signed out and my computer froze i powered it down and when i turned it on i thought it was going to start and then it went to a blue screen. I am doing this from another computer because i cant get that one to boot from anything disk or drive. I can not access safe mode or repair mode If i try to load safe mode it does not even show me the file its loading.
It would be much appreciated. Also, Im new here, So if you could tell me if Im doing something wrong it would be helpful. Heres the error report upon reboot -

Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit (retail) installed for about a week.
I am trying to troubleshoot regular BSOD's on my system. They seem to occur during HD video playback (XMBC) or under other system load like downloading large files (from newsgroups) where the speed is fairly high (apx. 2mbps).
I recently replaced my single core CPU for a dual-core thinking it may help, but it didn't. Now, I'm wondering if it could be the memory. I did the windows memory check, and it reported errors, but I don't where to find the log or what to do next.
I dont know if this is posted in the right area but I'm so desperate to get my laptop working its unreal. First it started off with my laptop crashing, I had totally forgot it needed to do a windows update and turned off my laptop in hopes that it would work properly. After that my laptop has not been working. The machine turns on and gives me two options. Start windows normally or do a repair. Upon starting windows normally, it loads so far before sending me back to the two options of start windows normally or repair. On the second time I clicked repair. My laptop then goes so far before presenting me with a blue screen that is usually the screen where my accounts are. The cursor still moves but it loads no further even after leaving it an hour. I decided to make a repair disk, hoping that the problem was because of windows. the disk loads, gives me a choice on the keyboard language then does nothing. I honestly have no idea what to do, I want to keep all the files safe on my computer as I havent backed them up and I have worked so hard on the projects.
Im having a couple problems with my computer, firstly when i boot up The icon for the LAN onnection has a red cross to say its not connected even though it is and it will recognise that it is after approx. 5 minutes and will only say network instead of the actual name if my connection (network99) secondly when i log on from booting up the desktop take a while to load and all the icon thumbnails load slowly one at a time and its really slow.
Recently my computer is always at 100% even when no apps are running. But as soon as i run Task manager load reduces. This doesnt happen in safe mode. Im sure that this is a virus. When i scan my computer with Avira Antivirus (Free) it doesnt detect anything
I am writing this right now because after the last BSOD it said "Windows can not start" and I had to restore to when it was previously working. So up until that point this is what I did.Since working with computers almost my entire life I know most BSOD are due to either bad memory, drivers, or bios. I started there and updated my nvidea drivers but it happened again. I moved to the motherboard bios.I did find a newer one on there and using ASUS tool I flashed the BIOS. Same thing still happened. Next I ran memtestx86 for 8 hours and it returned no errors. At this point I just decided to look for newest drivers for everything. One thing that happened consistently was that my wireless USB adapter from Cisco had to be unplugged and plugged back in for it to work. I went there first, reinstalled the drivers but still the same thing. I thought maybe it was my hard drive. I downloaded Seagates Utility tool and ran all the tests and they all passed fine. I ran defrag just for good measure along with windows version of the mem test and that passed as well. I still continued to get the BSOD and I have to tell you I'm irritated and also stumped.
Next I moved onto software. I have been using AVG free for years but I know virus programs do some crazy stuff and I got rid of that. Turned on windows defender. I decided that since the wireless adapter didn't work after these crashes maybe lets just go to a direct wired connection. I disconnected the cisco wireless adapter and I'm just using a direct connect right to my router. These come at random times.. nothing I do can trigger it. It can stay on for days and not crash and then there are times it can be up for 10 min and crash. Some of you might notice that in the CPU-Z screenshots I had to take the screenshot with the error underneath. Every time I chose either of the two slots it crashed the program.I have not done anything internally besides add some neon to my computer which does not connect to the board at all.I have seen IRQL blue screen once so I even went as far to go into the power settings for windows and make sure the usb and everything never went into any kind of "standby" mode.
I believe this is still under warranty and I would like to go in with good information if I need to challenge and get new hardware if that's what it is.On a side note I have not touched the memory physically. I know some suggestions were to reseed the memory and chip but In my opinion something that has been working for months that never moves off my desk and is never basically touched besides the power button shouldn't mean something just came loose after 4 months of owning it.Again that's just my opinion. I have removed AVG, Ad-Aware, Some webcam motion detector software (which was a joke) and the only thing that was really installed was Skyrim.

This started happening last night while i was playing Borderlands 2, it has happened at idle, playing just about any game in my library, during downloads and just browsing the web. I changed all of my accessible drivers, and it continued to happen, so i moved all of my personal files onto my external HDD. I re installed windows on my SSD (did not reformat) and reformatted my HDD. I re installed my drivers, re-enabled SLI and it ran fine for about an hour, just downloading WoW, and then happened again twice.
I started getting BSOD two weeks ago. As far as I can remember the first time I had a BSOD was on the day I installed Max Payne 3 (I read somewhere that the some guy had also this problem when he installed max payne). There were two occasions that I got a BSOD upon starting Max Payne 3. But lately I'm getting BSOD when doing low-load stuffs like browsing with no other apps opened. I've already done memtest with 10 passes with no errors. I'm 24 hours prime95 stable. I just don't get it! I've manually set my timings for my ram. I'm not doing any overclock. Everything is on stock settings.
I am brand new to this site so forgive me if I miss a step. I was wondering if someone who is good at debugging dump files could give me a second set of eyes on these 2 I will attach. One BSOD is DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (ntoskrnl.exe) and the other is UNEXEPECTED_KERNAL_MODE_TRAP (ntoskrnl.exe).I have this problem across 15 identical laptops with fresh installs of Win 7 Pro 64Now my guess is this will boil down to a BIOS upgrade, but if there are driver conflicts within these dump files
I am the developer of a driver for a network adapter device that does scatter-gather DMA. Driver is not newly developed, but has had some recent changes. My client has a puzzling BSOD on one x64 machine after about 18 hours of successful operation. My x64 Win 7 machine runs fine forever. Client's box crashes in seemingly random places that indicate mem corruption.Mem test on machine was clean. Minidump is attached. WinDbg stack doesn't trace back to my code - it just shows the calls to handle the exception. Any clues y'all can see?System info from WinDbg:Windows 7 Kernel Version 7601 (Service Pack 1) MP (4 procs) Free x64Product:WinNt, suite: TerminalServer SingleUserTSBuilt by: 7601.17640.amd64fre.win7sp1_gdr.110622-1506One difference between client's x64 and mine: Theirs has a valid DMA MapRegisterBase pointer from a AllocateAdapterChannel call, where mine (and my x86 systems) always have a null DMA MapRegisterBase
My computer has been stable for years, however recently I have been getting BSOD when doing any task. Windows will sometimes load to the desktop and I am able to watch video, run windows score, check email, etc before it will BSOD. Other times, it will BSOD before getting to the windows login screen. When I use safe mode, it logs in and stays there - no BSOD.I have tried removing all extra hardware in the machine, however this has had no affect. I have also tried one stick of RAM, then another, both BSOD.
Windows 7, 64bit, volume license (though OEM on the machine is also windows 7 64bit)1 month old hardware (10 days since I added memory). 18 month old OS install (backed up and restored, and drivers updated to new hardware)(Note that the older BSODs in the zip file are from old hardware)
I was having many random bluescreens on my old home build. I upgraded my Videocard to an Nvidia GTX 550 Ti thinking that it was videocard related. After fresh install I'm still getting BSODs.
Over the past months I have encountered a BSOD roughly every month and I want to get rid of it. The BSOD happens at random (at least as far as I know), not with specific tasks. This morning I started looking for the error and found that turning verifier ON might help in identification. I did this and rebooted a couple of times, every time with the same BSOD occuring during the boot stating something about dne64x.sys
System specs:
Windows 7 Professional x64 full retail version +/- 8 months old system, OS age is the same
I never used it heavily at the start and assumed it was just a driver and that i'd figure it out later.Well; now is later and I can't figure it out.I've done a re-install of the OS (HP recovery)This system is about a year old and is an HP Pavilion dv6 laptop with AMD Phenom II N850 Triple Core @2.2 ghz 6 gig memory 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium.
I just bought all my parts, and I can't seem to get the computer stable. It is constantly BSOD or freezing and crashing during games. I've attached the SF diagnostic report for one of the dumps i guess.
Up to now I have found win 7 faultless but I can't find a work around this one.I have tried to load sp1 quite a few times and every time it gets to approx 15% loaded it reports it can't go any further and reverts back to previous settings. When windows loads up there is an error message "ERROR:error_sharing_violation(ox80070020).
my daughter has a two year old Toshiba Satellite laptop, AMD, Windows 7 64 bit. (I don't know all the specs to her machine) Windows will not load.Gives me two options at start up, normal or Repair start up, I have tried.both, normal brings me back to the same menu, so then I check repair, itruns through to the windows loading, then goes to a blank screen with the cursor. When she got this pc I created 4 recovery discs from the start menu the.4th one I have labelled Recovery Environment 64 bit. Can anyone guide me here?If her hard drive was fried would I still get the Windows starting up menu?I have never tried to repair a laptop, have done it a quite few times on my.desktops, but am at a loss since there are no messages at all during start up.Okay, I have tried using the disks, the first one seemed to run through, then I had to shut system off and put the 2 and 3rd recovery disk in, but this is part of the message I received when I tried to run those disks.Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 002)This product is covered by on or more of the following.PXE Rom the same message seemed to fill the screen - looks to me a failed drive? How do I check that? When I went into the Bios it seemed surprisingly limited (sparse) , not sure if it said hard drive or not Can I fix this without taking it to a shop? and if I had to buy another HD.for the laptop is the Windows 7 OS on those 4 recovery discs I made or will I have to buy another licence?
When using Microsoft Update, there is a security update for .NET Framework 3.5.1 R2 SP1 for x64 systems ( that would be my machine) - KB2518869 & KB2572077. I download them, yet the install fails and the following " Error Encountered Code 80073712" is called out.1st I am not knowledgable of the purpose of .NET and its workings so cannot talk intelligently about it.AND I have tried to down load this a few times ( even with some tech support help from AVG ) and they too could not crack the code.

Yesterday I downgraded internet explorer 10. Now when I turned on my computer I get a message that says:Setting up personalized settings for:Web Platform Customizations And my explorer.exe won't load. It's just a blank screen and that message.Last time I had IE9, I tried to downgrade it to 8. It caused my IE to not work properly. The settings doesn't open, and it crashes when I type something in the address bar. I tried to reinstall IE9 but it says I still have the latest version. So what I did was install IE10 because I know it won't come up with the "you already have the latest version" error. And I succeeded installing IE10.And yesterday, I tried to downgrade IE10.And today, 2 things aren't working. My IE is not working properly again (same problem as before again). And my explorer.exe is not working too (coming up with that message above).Things I've Tried: End explorer.exe in processes and rerunning it. Restarted my computer.
the thing is, after some usual Microsoft updates on my Windows 7 Home premium, it refuses to load, stuck at "windows loading" right after bios loads, i have to shut down the PC and restart, and it loads, but then it installs the updates again, and the same thing happens, how do i solve this
windows 7 32| installed by the manufacturer so I don't have any discs to reload it..I'm sending this on my mac because I cannot start windows on my laptop Yesterday it went into some sort of thing where I tried to restore it the way it came from the manufacturer but it's in some sort of loop.I started in SAFE mode and used the restore setting but now it starts trying to load but I get this error message: "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error, windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows click OK to restart then restart the installation"... [setup is preparing your computer for first use]
"Could not load file or assembly 'sortkey.nlp' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified." This is what it says. Is this something i should look into? I had recently gotten a bsod and used a system restore if that means anything. oh also its and amd notification
