It will close all file it can close on computer. (system file too...). So, users must turn account control to default level so... this app cannot auto close it.I don't know this before. My account control is lowest level. So, when run this app, it will automatically restart. (because some system file has been closed). After twice times, I login at meet that error : No matter how I login, Windows appear Welcome, and logoff permantly after. When I create another account and set account control to default level, I can run this app and can logon. But I still want to use old account.

To be validated across the network or Internet, I need to have a passworded login and don't want to use their login names (many without passwords!) but only one of my choice or preferably the 'hidden' Administrator account (best for full access). Is it possible to have access to Administrator (I know how to enable it) and not spread confusion by having it plastered on the login screen?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to find a way for the follwoing to happen; My mum and dad have a static caravan and have paid for the sites wifi for the year, which works fine. When you open a browser it autoredirects you to a login page which needs your username and password. This is fine for their laptop but they have a Media Centre which I would like to have a internet connection at boot up at least to chekc for updates/tv guide etc. The only way this can happen is if they get the keyboard and mouse out, drop MediaCentre, open IE and login in. Obviously this isn't going to happen, at least not often. So is it possible to get a script that;1, Run's at start up or as a task that somehow logs you onto the internet automatically?

Is there any chance I can login automatically without even clicking on the user icon
View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought a Asus U36J laptop back in April of last year and ever since then I have been beating around an issue that I dont seem to be able to resolve one way or the other. When ever the laptop is on battery and in battery saving mode it has my taskbar on autohide. If I turn that off, then it stays off right until it is put back into battery saving mode at which point it is "magically" ticked on again.
Is there no way to simply disable that feature, as its annoying me greatly. I know its tied into the battery saving desktop, and I want to keep the battery saving desktop but want a full taskbar all the time. I found a supposed fix to make that happen, and while it actually makes the taskbar appear all the time, it still is a bad hack as any windows I have open wont "attach" to the taskbar but attaches to the buttom of the screen.
So for the love of god is there no sane way for me to keep the battery saving desktop but get rid of the autohiding taskbar. Otherwise I know Asus most likely wont be my laptop of choice next time aroumd.
I'm using Windows 7 Pro. I have remove the login pw in my user account now I do not need to do the login and able to use the computer right away. But I found I am using the computer as a user not administrator. How can I skip the login screen and go straight into desktop as administrator.

Partitioned the hard drive to install Vista Home Premium 32bit to create a dual boot system solely to run these two programs. Can't get Vista to load. Followed tutorial meticulously. All goes fine until the "Vista will boot for the first time" step. After this first boot, the screen returns to the "completing installation" page. However, the process dies here and the progress bar across the bottom of the screen never moves, even after an hour. Reformatted the partition and started over with same results. Multiple attempts always die after the first boot.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had recently installed windows 7 on my laptop running windows vista. I did not remove the existing windows vista installation, and thus win 7 was installed in a dual boot combination. Now, i want to remove vista from my laptop and use windows 7 only. The problem is that during installation, win 7 was installed on logical drive and windows vista was on the primary drive. Thus, i cannot delete/format the windows vista partition. Also I cannot transfer the boot drive to the partition containing win 7 because the vista partition is the active one.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a legitimate copy of Windows Vista with key codes etc and I have a legitimate upgrade disk for Windows 7. I had Windows 7 installed on a previous system build which had a HD crash and now I am starting again from scratch (wiyh backed up data).
Like a dolt, I installed Wondows 7 before I remembered it was an upgrade edition. I've looked all over the MS site and don't see a method I can use to Activate Windows 7 from this point. way to use my legitimate Windows disks and keys without having to wipe the drive, install Vista and then install Windows 7 yet again.
It's aggravating to have legitimate software and not be able to use it without needing to trick the system - surely there is a way to not have to start all over?

I have a Microsoft Intellipoint 2000 usb mouse that has been working flawlessly for about 8 months, and a windows 7 laptop 64 bit. Recently however, the mouse would work at the login screen, but after I would login, it would stop working. Its drivers are up-to-date. It seems as though something changed recently that disables it after login, and if I reconnect it I sometimes get Error Code 43, and it says it is not recognized, then again, sometimes it will work flawlessly, until i put my computer to sleep.

I watch videos from this site Poker Netcast | Live At The Bike | LABTTheir login is https.Ive been in IT for 15 years and even this has stumped me.When I go to login in IE9 starts looping from the login page to the https page and back to the original page and never ends. I load firefox, same issue. I load Crome, it worked for 1 day then same issue. It used to login in fine last week. It logs in fine on my 2 other PCs and my Kindlefire.I have checked for viruses with Avast and A-Malware Bytes in safe mode - nothing. These 2 pick up 98% of stuff. Personally I dont think its a virusn IE9 - Deleted browsing history, cookies, temp internet files, everything under the Geneeral/Browsing History section. Did a disk cleanup, put the site inthe trusted zone, turned off popup blocker just in case, Cleared SSL state, Reset IE9. Zippo

A laptop of mine contracted a virus, and installed a fake antivirus program. I was able to uninstall the fake antivirus, but now I have another problem. Every time I turn on / restart the laptop, I get the message "Windows has encountered a critical problem and will restart automatically in one minute, please save your work now". The laptop then restarts, ad infinitum. Now, having done a quick google search, I see lots of reccommendations involving either going into Safe Mode or using the Advanced Boot Options. Problem is, I can't get the F8 menu screen to come up on the problem laptop. I have another laptop of the exact same model - this one is uninfected and I can get the F8 menu up just fine, so it's nothing to do with me mis-timing pushing the button. I have tried going into Safe Mode via the Boot options in msconfig, but alas I get the same error message in Safe Mode, too, and again my computer is forced to restart.
