Keyboard Lights Are Frozen
Oct 17, 2009I've only noticed this on Windows 7, I have NO idea what's going on.
I know sometimes when your computer is badly frozen that the keyboard won't respond and the lights won't even respond when you press numlock and capslock.
Well my keyboard works just fine (I'm typing from it now) but the LIGHTS do not! The numlock light is on, the capslock and scroll lock lights are off. They won't change no matter what I do. Same with numlock. The lights stays on even when it's off.
If I press capslock I still get capslock SEE. But the lights won't change. O.o
Obviously it's not a major issue that's inhibiting my experience but it is a little confusing because I can't tell what locks are on or off.

Aug 14, 2012Bought my new ASUS laptop from Best Buy a week ago. Finally having a chance to get started with it. They gave some good advice, to create a back up disk(s) in case any issues arise. This means I will have to get a USB-operated external DVD drive. Not really a problem, I mean I don't mind doing that. But is it not possible to create the same backup disk on a flash drive?

Sep 5, 2012I've got a problem with my laptop - it won't sleep. Specifically, when I try and make it sleep, the screen turns off and I cannot interact with it at all - but the computer just keeps going. All the activity lights stay on, and while I can't see or do anything, the computer stays on and will not sleep, leaving me with no choice but to manually force shutdown. Sometimes if I leave it like this for a while, it will simply crash and shut down incorrectly. I have gone into the power-plan settings and checked my advanced settings, but that hasn't worked. It's just come on in the last few days, but I haven't installed anything new in that time. I'm going to try a system restore now, but I don't hold much hope for it.
(I'm using a Samsung R530, 32-bit Windows 7, Intel Pentium.)

The main differences from what I can see is. The Intel has the extra gig of RAM but the AMD has the better graphics chip.
I do not know how the CPU's compare.

Hp Pavillion G6 Keyboard AND Onscreen Keyboard Hardly Working
Jun 8, 2012my daughter pressed a couple of keys earlier and now my laptop keyboard isnt working properly. It is really strage because a few keys are working but not in thier usual function. My partner logged out so now i am sat at a login screen and cant key in a password. The on screen keyboard is behaving the same way which is very odd! Any suggestions? I have only had it 3 weeks and have had no problems it's been great. My mrs said she was trying to type in a website and windows kept popping up when she typed, and then she logged out.

Jun 20, 2009I just put together an i7 rig today with the Asus P6T motherboard. I'm having a problem with it detecting any of my PCI cards though. I installed the latest drivers for Windows 7 from the Asus site. It claims the driver installed and reboots, but then it doesn't start auto-detecting my PCI cards. Therefore I can't install my sound card or wireless card.
Anyone know why it's not detecting my PCI cards.
