I recently installed code blocks C compiler on my win 7 PC.
It worked fine for a day or so but will now not launch. An error message appears stating that file 'mingwm10.dll is missing'
I am trying to burn Blank dvds under my Roxio Easy Burning software. And my Hp keeps coming up an message says "Video_TS File Missing or not found". I just brought this laptop in early feburary of this year. I can burn blank CDs. Please help! I don't know if its the driver update or the optical drive it self.

So anyway. Some time ago SP1 launched for Windows 7. I installed but it but something went it wrong and it didn't install correcly and then i was forced to use System restore. Everything worked and i haven't used SP1 because i don't want to risk screwing up my computer before some important things, i got plenty of time later for that . The problem is after the system restore every time Vegas launches i get a error : Sony Vegas pro 10 an error occurred starting Vegas Pro Error 0x80070002 (message missing).

However, When it warned me about making it a simple partition, I ignored it thinking that I could still use that for a data drive and use a third partition I had as my windows 8 partitionAfter rebooting, I received a missing OS error message no doubt being that all my partitions were turned simple instead of just the one I made. I then used the MSI Recovery which did nothing, but likely removed any and all files I had(no big deal though).Next, I tried my Google-fu to find an answer. It suggested to restore the Master Boot Record, but that did nothing once again. I used this [url=http://bit.ly/iZN0A][/url] tutorial, but in step 3, I didn't even see Windows mentioned. However, I did see my main OS partition and both other partitions on the disk, so I know it's not dead.

The screen is black with white warning saying BOOTMGR is missing, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart, When i do this the same happens. When it checks, an error occurs it says bc of a "recently installed program" and "needs to restore" his computer. It then goes to a black screen with only the mouse visible. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Vista Home Premium 64 bit and I'm trying to upgrade to 7. I bought the college copy so I only have the download, no DVD.
When I get to like 10% of installation I get error 0x80070241, and it says that a file is corrupted or missing and installation cannot continue.
I know everyone hates n00bs who ask questions that have already been answered, and I did google this first (and call Microsoft), but the results I found on google went right over my head and Microsoft was not helpful at all (I shot them off an e-mail thinking I might get better service that way, but they haven't responded yet.)
Anyway, what can I do? I really really want Vista off my computer but it like refuses to die lol.
How I could to remove my missing DLL of Java? Also I need you to send me email about this information.

However,I accidently turned my computer off and now it tried to boot from that partition and it gives me the error message "BOOTMGR is missing" because I literally don't have anything on the disk yet. No Windows 7, nothing.
My question for you is: Can I change the partition that is being booted in BIOS or how do I change that?

With exactly the same specs, pop smtp, ports etc in Incredimail, it still gives me the same message.It's very frustrating, and yes I have gone right through Incredimails Help pages, but in the end it just tells me to contact the Internet provider, who tells me that they because Incredimail is not one of their supported programmes.

If I run Repair from my installation disk and in System Recovery Options, it says that it has detected problems and asks if I want to repair it. I think that this is because Startup Repair is trying to fix the thumbdrive that I keep my Windows 7 install files in. I am overseas now and as my computer does not have an internal optical disk drive and my external drive is back home, thus using my thumbdrive is the only way to access the repair console.
I tried running a few commands, namely:
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd
Fixmbr and fixboot work, but when I run RebuildBCD, it detects C:Windows as having a Windows installation, but if I type Y(yes) or A(all), it says that the requested system device cannot be found.

After it restarted the first time, it came up to a screen that said this: Code: Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:< Windows root>system32toskrnl.exe.Please re-install a copy of the above file After several failed attempts my Dad somhow got it to install properly, and it worked fine until I needed to reinstall updates. When it restarted again, the same screen came up. I put in the Windows 7 DVD and restarted, this time it booted without any problems. My boot is setup as "Boot from CD/DVD Drive" first, and "Boot from HDD" second. But when it said "Press any key to boot CD/DVD" I didn't press anything, and it just moved on normally.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm weeks of spasmodic attempts into replacing my old C-drive with a new SSD and a clean install of Windows 7, 32 bit. Here's the current loop: Following Sandisk's instructions on formatting SSD for use as OS with Win 7:
1) I verify BIOS - SATA is (as before) set to ACHI
2) I place Windows 7 upgrade disc in drive, hoping to use "Option 1 - normal clean install" (from Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version )
3) I get "Windows Error Recovery" screen, stating "windows did not shut down normally" (white text on black screen), with two options - start normally, or startup repair.
- if I select "start normally," it merely returns (after a minute or two) to the same Error Recovery screen after some POSTs (nothing other than single-beep) - no request for my input, no "press any key," etc.
- if I select default ("startup repair") option load: "Windows cannot repair this computer automatically" ultimately results after a lot of attempting to repair, etc.
PC will still run Ok from old HD when connected, and shows the SSD in Disk Management with a "System Reserved" 100 MB (F) partition along with a 112GB (E) partition. I keep thinking I need to wipe those and try again, but not sure how or if that's even worth trying. I did have the same SSD up and running Win 7 for a brief time - didn't start at some point afterwards...
I recently installed 7 and it came up with the message BOOTMGR is missing. hit ctrl alt delete to restart. i did the setup repair but it doesnt work, also if i try to boot the disc it automatically starts the operating system from my hard drive and all is well until i restart again.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just finished installing Windows 7 x64 7068. This PC already has XP on a different drive (not just different partition). The Windows 7 drive is set to boot first in BIOS.
After the first reboot I got the "BOOTMGR is missing, ctrl+alt+del to restart" message. If I boot with the XP drive, there is an option for Windows 7 and I can log on with that.
I used the startup repair tool on Windows 7 DVD but it did not detect any problem. Tried easyBCD to reinstall the Vista bootloader but that didn't fix it either.
How can I fix this? And how should I install Windows 7 so that each drive can boot on its own? I can select which drive to boot quickly after POST so I don't want the 2 OSes to tangle up like that.
