RADEON HD 6490 M Drivers Doesn't Work

I have a HP laptop on which there are 2 GPU`s one Intel 3000 and a Radeon HD 6490 M. At first I had a problem setting my Radeon GPU as main GPU. Because Radeon is more powerful I want it as primary but when i deactivate the Intel the screen gets all low-res and i cant change it up. On the other side, when i only disable the Radeon, the screen is still perfect. I have checked in game settings on differnt games and the GPU used is the Intel 3000 I wanted and still want to have Radeon as primary cuz of gaming. I still cant set the Radeon as primary.Installing new drivers from the AMD website doesnt work eighter. All i get is a catalyst with almost no options (2 mb). And when I start my laptop I always get as message reading: "the catalyst driver is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. please update your AMD graphics driver. or enable your AMD adapter using the Display Manager" W.T.F it is enabled in Display Maneger.

I have Radeon HD 3850 AGP and Windows 7, and I tried to do almost everything .I installed 9.12 drivers, 9.12 drivers with adding CL_91526 from the topic above), 9.11 drivers,9.11 drivers with Hotfix (ATI), 9.11 drivers with adding CL_91526, manual driver install by right click.Absolutely no changes and everytime the same ... During and after installing (before reboot) no changes in Device Manager, having "ATI Radeon 3850 " (or "ATI Radeon 3800 series" or something like that...) with yellow triangle and Microsoft Co. driver. And after reboot no changes with it, an error message with something like "Driver didn't install correctly, please install proper driver" ( though in ATI install log you can see that everything was installed succesfully). So after reboot I still see my VGA like "ATI Radeon 3800 series" with Microsoft driver and of course no changes in monitor resolution and all. If I try to delete microsoft driver (and device), and then install radeon drivers , during installation I absolutely just don't have any VGA in Device manager. And after reboot Windows 7 "finds" VGA and install from internet microsoft driver, so I can see "ATI Radeon HD 3850 (Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.1)" in Device Manager.

just purchased a new Pentium 4 3.4 GHz 32-bit processor with HyperTransport technology and a new AGP HIS ATI Radeon HD 4670 with IceQ and 1GB DDR3 RAM packed in a green and black box with this serial number H467QS1GHA. I also installed a new Windows 7 32-bit. I installed the drivers from the HIS CD that was packed with the graphics card but when I start up Windows I can't play any 3D games. Also a message from ATI Catalyst Control Center pops up saying that I don't have an ATI driver or the ATI driver is not working properly.I got these error mesages (I listed the games too)

I have a Satellite 215 A4747 laptop with Vista, which has the Radeon x1200 video card.
Now it may be the fact that I installed the 64 bit version of Windows 7 and the card just does not have the driver support for it, but I spent 2 hours trying different things and it will not take. I am going to try the 32 bit version tonight and see if I have better luck. I reinstalled Vista in the interim, but not happy with vista.

I have a IV880-10 (viewed in CD) AsRock motherboard, "Intel core 2 cpu" , 4coredual-VSTA.
When I had winXP, the front audio panel works perfectly but now with 7057 they won't work. I had installed the last audio codecs from realtek but the motherboard drivers (from CD) are incompatible and they don't let me install it on the 7057.
I tried to install them with the compatibility mode (Vista and XP) , but after the restart Windows 7 was damaged and started a "restore system".
So... frontal audio don't are my life, but i like them because they are very confortable to connect my speakers to mp3, ipod, and nother devices.
I'm a little newbie about this, so please can anyone tell me what have I to do to make my frontal audio panel works?
Do I need to download the 4coredual-VSTA drivers from asrock.com ? (bios?, audio?, hdd?)
Or simply is the 7057 that in this moment doesn't support my motherboard front panels?

Windows Doesnt recognize my video card Ati radeon 5650 HD, it just says stantard video card for windows, neither my monitor its recognice....
I installed the driver many times , My pc is SONY VAIO Vpcef2s1e , i even downloaded the driver from sony site and still doesnt work...

i have a sapphire HD 5770 a little over a yr now and recently it started giving problems and now it does not wrk most of the time. what happens is that when the computer is turned on the card starts up (the lights on the back of the card light up green and soon after they start to flicker and turn off and the fan spins really fast and loud as if there is no six pin power connector in the card. i gave it to a friend to check it for me and it wrked in his system for about 4 days str8 the started to chip off.

I installed a radeon gigabyte 6850 graphics card in to my computer a long time ago and after I made the switch from Nvidia to Radeon my input jacks and output jacks stopped working. Usually I can live with it and use my laptop or phone for skype but I've just bought a game on steam and I can't use steam voice chat on a different system then play on my gaming system at the same time and playing games with my friends without voice chat is unacceptable.When I plug a mic in it says its working and it shows up in realtek hd audio but when i try to use it with anything it doesnt work. The bar doesnt even go up when i test it in windows 7 so it must be muted. I've tested the mic with a laptop before so it definitely works. I've reinstalled realtek hd drivers. I think the problem is I'm using hdmi to connect my tv and use it as a monitor and apparently using hdmi sound from amd cards mute all other sounds. I need the speakers on my tv as they are my only speakers, and buying new speakers or a sound card is not a possible option right now. And even if I could get speakers, my tv only connects via hdmi anyway so the sound would still be muted so I really need this fix. how I can get windows 7 sound to work while using hdmi from a radeon graphics card to output sound to my speakers? Does anyone use hdmi to connect their display to an amd graphics card?

the latest update driver is Vista, and it says I won't update it anymore, at least thats what I think, you can go look to the site and look for yourself. And so thats what I did, but since this is not Vista, it makes the wallpaper black and stays that way, but when i restart it, it screen gets messy, and I had to System Restore. My Question is, is there anyway to make the graphic card work on Windows 7, at least this one?

One problem: They have drivers for ATI Radeon 3100 HD, But NOT 3100.
Whats the difference between the two?
Is it possible to just use the ATI radeon 3100 HD drivers on my ATi radeon 3100?

I have installed win 7 about 4 weeks ago and I have a hp laptop dv5115nr which uses the ati mobility radeon xpress 200, win 7 uses some generic driver which is ok but not what I am used to (xp pro), is there a a site to download the driver free?

i have Windows 7 ultimate x64 and the drivers to run my ATI Radeon 4870 work and have already been installed when i switched to windows 7 from windows vista.
I try to download the control center where i can overclock and change settings for my PC and whenever they start to install i get the blue screen and my comp restarts... What can i do?
p.s i did go to windows 7 x64 on the drivers list on the ATI wedsite and didn't accidentally click another OS

I have upgraded to Win 7 and the graphics will not install properly.
Its an AGP Radeon X1650 card.
I can't find a driver for it from ATI and was wondering if the fix some have done for other graphics cards (3850) will work on this?
Any ideas please? Also how do i do it please?

i have just installed windows 7 on an older system with a radeon 9250 128mb agp video card.
i tried installing the latest catalyst driver package just to see if they would work but they didn't detect the card, and i couldn't manually update the drivers via device manager since the card would not see any compatible drivers.
is there any supported drivers avaialble for this card for windows 7?

I currently have catalyst version 09.7 so i figured it was about time to update to the latest catalyst driver. However when trying to install the ati mobility HD 5*** drivers it gives me a pop up message saying something about incompatible software/hardware. After downloading the autodetect driver tool it told me to install radeon HD drivers. Should i go with this or manually install the 5 series drivers?

I got a temp card in my Cluster Frag and am wondering if any one has found a driver besides W7 for the thing ? I have fried three cards due to uncombatiple drivers and dont want this to be the fourth ( last card in inventory lol) so any suggestions would be nice.

i installed windows 7, and everything seemed to work fine.
installed a bunch of programs, they also all seem to work.
but then i decided to do some backups; i created the rescue cd using windows, and then cloned the hard drive also using windows 7.
but then i noticed the backup program, and decided to click on "set up backup"; nothing happens.
if i try the same from a disk drive/properties (ie click on backup there) nothing happens either.
any ideas? maybe something i installed broke this, but it seems like a pretty basic function to break like this.

Recently, I did a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium on my MSI GE600. At first, the touchpad behaved the way it should. But now, it is not even detected. I rebooted the laptop and it worked again. Most of the time it doesn�t work though.

Basically, I bought a new USB stick and plugged it in. My computer would search for windows updates, but it would never find the ones required, and the USB wouldn't install. When I unplug the USB and plug it back in again, the computer doesn't even recognize it, and nothing happens. Currently, my computer is not updated, so that's one thing I won't try. I've installed windows 7 updates numerous times in the past, and every time I did, my computer would have problems starting up (i.e. my desktop would be a black screen when it starts and I can't do anything, or the place where I enter my password to log in doesn't load at all).

I'm unable to play games requiring DirectX 11, even though I've downloaded it perhaps half a dozen times. Having stumped myself I decided I may as well ask here. The only feedback I've received from things not working is Civilization V says "Requires Service Pack 2 or greater" As far as I know DirectX doesn't update in the Service pack format, and that Windows 7 SP2 doesn't exist yet, and shouldn't be needed for a game of early 2010 as-is. I have an ASUS U56E, with the on-board i5 graphics(I thought it might be that, but my brother's i3 runs said DirectX fine, so maybe mine is damaged) and I, quite frankly, do not want to run it back into Best Buy and hope that it's covered by warranty.

Ok so unfortunately the only OS i have is Windows 7 as my XP disk do not work. Yes I know that sucks.
