How Editing Email Message Body During Composition

An email's html formatting allows for immediately greater insight into any given matter, e.g. I would like to pose my question in the form of a technical support requirement email message and graphically illustrate my use of the interface window to show the idea taking place pictorially - in this case an email message body during composition and suggest how editing it may be enhanced - it is simplest done using an image pasted into the body of text as a diagram or 'fig. 1' with legend or caption....

I do not however see this as currently available and would otherwise resort to an available email address for Microsoft product support despite communities having this resource of knowledgeable and well-versed people. If it directly reaches MS personnel with the benefit of knowing it is received in this way, it is likely closer by far to the best answer or resolution available...................

With XP once you entered the first or second letter of the a name in your contact group it displayed a whole name for you to choose. Vista doesn't seem to do this or am I missing something?

On one particular filed mail folder. all the filed mails have correct subject line, date, attachment symbol etc. However when I click on mail to open it. it has wrong text in the body text. In fact all filed mails have the common body text from one mail. If I move a new mail from inbox to this folder. same thing as soon as I put it in folder it assumes body text of the 'common mail. How can I recover these mails. It does not happen on any other folder. can I rebuild index or similar?

Whenever I attach a picture (.jpeg, .bmp, .pdf, etc.) the entire image appears in full size in the body of the text. I want to be able to attach a picture file without it appearing in the body.

I am having trouble sendig email out from Windows Mail (using Vista). Everything has been working fine for months, then it got a bit sticky over the last couple of days, but if I tried repeatedly it would eventually capitulate. Is there a way to change the way you make corrections in composing an email message? Whenever I try to insert another sentence in front of one I've already typed, it does the "overtype" thing instead of simply inserting the text. I know how to do it with Outlook and Windows 98, but can't figure it out with Windows mail and Vista!!!

Unable to open my email message links. Everytime I click on the link I received an error message: Application not found. I can copy and paste the link to the Internet Explorer search window and open the link that way. But, that is a definite pain in the butt to do that.

I am continuously having problems with sending messages by Microsoft Mail my computer always states: The host 'jwebb12345@yahoo.com' could not be found. This issue does not happen once but every time I send a message. How do I fix this problem? I have many email aacounts jwebb12345@yahoo.com is one of them but it is not going through. In attempt to fix the issue I created a new email account which is jwebb06@live.com. I created it inorder for me to manually insert it through the Identity Import.

When I check windows mail Vista, the messages arrive, there is an instant of flutter and I have seen some message dropped before I can open any email. What causes this? Also, after I delete some messages it appears back in the inbox or deleted folder as "No Message" on a blank page...I then delete again to get rid of it.

I have downloaded Smiley Central but every time I send an email through Windows Mail I get the message "one or more of the pictures in this message could not be found" and the smiley won`t attach. I suspect I have a pop-up blocker on somewhere, but only found one and despite turning it off, the smiley still won`t send/attach. What am I doing wrong. Ill try this again. I cant send email I keep getting this message. Ive disabled my AVG email scanner, reset my account numerous times, still no luck. I dont have any problem deleting the message from the outbox.

I use Hotmail as my email provider. I have Windows Vista Home Prem. 64 bit.Everytime I reply or create a new outgoing msg. the msg. is automatically moved to the Drafts Folder after only 2-3min. Since I am a very slow typist and take time to research info it is not good for me. Can someone tell me how to lengthen the time to about 10 min. before it transfers the msg.?

I have set up my account 5 or 6 times. I have roadrunner as my internet provider. the pop is pop-server.wi.rr.com and smtp is smtp-server.wi.rr.com I was able to send one email and then I closed windows mail. 10 mins later, went back in to try and send an email and I received this error message.

I currently have a whole heap of avi files and I want edit the file descriptions in order to include details like, year, comments, director etc. However when I try to access them the regular way Right click>Properties>Details the only details listed are relating to the actual video data properties. All of the details pane is locked and it wont allow me to change them. For my mp3 files i have no problem putting in the settings I want.

Vista Basic spa. I have a dvd/cd rw. Although software did come with the drive I don't have it installed at this time because I'm not sure if it has the features I require. The more I look to the internet to try to find out what software I need the worse my headache gets. I'll list the things I want to accomplish and hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction. I'm not sure of some of the terminology either but I'll attempt to explain the best I can
1) I want to be able play regular DVDs on my commuter.
2) While playing the dvd I want to be able to pause and clip the still and save it as a jpg.
3) I want to be able to rip a portion of the DVD and save it to a video file (mpeg, avi...)
4) Then I'd like to be able to rip 5 to 20 seconds of AUDIO of the ripped video (or from the original DVD if that's possible) and save it as a wav file.
5) Create DVDs playable on my DVD player from several video file formats like one can do with Windows DVD Maker but isn't included in Vista Basic. I would prefer a suite with all these feature if possible.

If you are frustrated with any version of Windows you are running or are tired of rebooting your machine frequently or are fed up with the antivirus and security crap or are tired for paying for all of this software or find that Windows Genuine Disadvantage is a nuisance you might want to consider a dual boot machine for a while.
You can dual boot any of the Linux distros fairly easy. Ubuntu is the easiest to use. That is what I did. Soon after I found that going to Windows was very infrequent. The only time I now use Windows is if I do some application development or maybe for some way out photo editing to do some way out task. Even before I know that Linux was a better OS but after using it I am finding out how much better........
