When you forward an email to someone in Mail, it includes the Original Message Header. For example:

I am having a weird problem when I try to ftp files through explorer - certain files are completely stripped of their content. I've attached some sample files to this message. The files that start with "doesnt_work" will get stripped when copied over ftp. The files that start with "works" will not get stripped. The only difference between the works and doesn’t_work is that I have removed some of the content for the works version.
Some facts:All the files are plain text. I've verified that this happens on multiple ftp servers. It happens regardless of the file extension. I've turned off antivirus and netnanny software and it still happens. If I use another ftp client such as CoreFTP lite, or ftp.exe from the command line, it doesn't happen- all files transfer properly This also happens with explorer-ftp transfers on windows XP.
I have recently purchased a smartphone pda and i am trying to receive email on my phone! For some reason i couldnt get outlook to work so i created a new email with gmail. Now i am trying to get my emails linked i guess you could say is this possible to do besides forwarding each message individually?
next week I'll get a new e-mail adress because I am changing my email provider. I would like my email (of the old adress) to be sent automatically to my new emailadress, but I just don't know exactly how to do this.
I just got a new laptop with Vista Home Premium. In setting up my Windows Mail I noticed that there is no BCC in the header, and for the life of me I can't find out how to add it. I've tried Help, but it's no help at all where BCC is concerned.
Using Windows Mail to access my subscription newsreader. When I highlight a message, right-click, click on PROPERTIES, then click on MESSAGE SOURCE, on some posts I see the originator's IP address while others do not show the IP address. It appears that this is NOT the IP address of the originating computer, but, of the originating ISP -- right? For example, when I trace the IP address shown in my posts, it shows the location of my ISP, which is miles away from me. Is there any way to configure Windows Mail so the IP address is not shown on outgoing posts?
What does this mean and how do i fix it?? Header download for the '[Gmail]' folder did not complete. Could not select '[Gmail]' on the IMAP server. You might try refreshing your folder list to synchronize with the IMAP server. Account: 'imap.gmail.com', Server: 'imap.gmail.com', Protocol: IMAP, Server Response: 'Unknown Mailbox: [Gmail] (Failure)', Port: 993, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCCD2
I'm having a problem I can't find in the forums. I'm using Vista Home Premium x64 and have lost the column header bars in Explorer. I've tried changing the template for the folder, but nothing works. This is what is looks like... This is the "all items" template, but they all look like this.
I wasn't sure whether to post this under the Vista section, in the server section, or in IE7 because I'm not sure where the problem resides. We are hosting a sharepoint website on a server 2003 computer running IIS 6. I set up host headers in IIS and Access Mappings in WSS, and everything works perfectly for workstations with XP Pro.
The workstations that are running Windows Vista Business cannot connect to the site via the host header name. All clients are running IE7, and are up to date. The IP address of the server is being resolved just fine when using the host header value.
I am thinking of updating to Vista from Windows XP, and would like to know if Vista Mail filtering provided any improvement on Outlook Express. In particular can filtering be done on news header fields like
I will be using 100GB HD for Vista. I have never partitioned a drive before. I do have Partition Magic but have not looked at it yet. I was wondering if it makes sense to divide the HD so Vista is on one part but the other programs install on a different partition. Would that make reformatting Vista easier? If it is a good idea how much should be allocated to the Vista partition. Can Vista do it adequately or should I use PM for making the partitions. As you can guess I don't understand partitioning rules at all!
I am using rules to move junkmail to a folder, but I would like to automatically forward it to spam@barracuda.net as well. Is there a way to modify the ACTION spec to forward as well as move?
I have setup a rule to autoreply to messages coming in to a particular email address. however, every time the message goes out, it is an attachment and the body of the message is blank. How can I setup the reply message to be in the body of the email, instead of an attachment. If I'm not mistaken, this worked in Outlook Express, then I upgraded to Vista.
I set a rule over a year ago to delete from the server, all mail over 750KBs. Now we have a faster connection and I want to change that, but can't find where. It's not listed in Message/Rule/Mail. Where is it located in Windows Mail? This is a Vista Home Premium computer with serv pack 2.
I am installing a new Gigabyte mobo (MA78GM-US2H) in an HP Media Center Case. The pin layout between the case & mobo is nearly the same except that the HD LED and the Power LED are reversed on the new mobo. The power switch pins are correct. The case does not have reset capability. Does it matter that the two LED pin connectors are reversed or should I attempt to change the wires coming from the case?
Do you have any useful links to resources to save attachments with a script or rule in windows mail. What I have seen, there is only an option to move the message to a special folder in the windows mail rules
My "size" option appears to have gone missing, and I'm not sure why. I searched with google, as well as these forums, though I could find no answer to my problem. (Though that doesn't mean one hasn't been posted; my searching skills may just be crappy.) Regardless, has anyone had this, or a similar issue, occur? Or does anyone know how to add your own "details" to choose from so I can get it back manually? I saw this: Folder Size for Windows Explorer. I probably need something along those lines, but for the size option instead... Also, if I'm somehow just staring at the list and missing it even after scanning through each item, (Picture included to rule out/verify idiocy on my part.)
I have several e-mail accounts. When I forward an email, it uses the wrong email address in the "From" toolbar line, not the address to which the email was addressed. This is something new in the last couple of days, as before it always used the address to whom the email was addressed.
I'm running Vista Ultimate x64. I had 4GB of memory installed and just upgraded to 8GB. When I started the computer with the new memory sticks, I got this message:
"The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the computed checksum." I booted from the Vista DVD and tried the Startup Repair but it says it did not detect any problems so it won't repair anything. What can I do?
I cant send or recieve emails and when i try to go in window mail it keep knocking of my internet connection this is the error message im getting

I have been receiving this error message for the past few days when I try to send Emails. I have talked to my ISP and Email provider and all my settings are correct. I have also checked my security settings from Norton. The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.
