How To Convert Vob To Avi With Leawo Video Converter?

Oct 11, 2009

How to convert VOB to AVI video with Leawo Video Converter? Many people want to edit the videos, or some video clips of there DVD VCD discs, or just rip some scenes of the video in Windows Moive Maker. However, the WMM doesn't accept the VOB videos, so they have to convert VOB to AVI, WMV, etc. Leawo Video Converter may be a good choice, as it not only can be used as VOB to AVI Converter to convert VOB to AVI, WMV, etc. quickly, but with many powerful functions, like video trimming, and cropping, which are much easier to use than that of WMM in converting VOB to AVI file.

For the conversion, few steps will finish the job. Open the program, select "XviD Movie(*.avi) " in "Style", drag and drop the WMVs in the program, or click "Add" to browse them in. Double click the file name to have a preview. Click "Convert" in the bottom right to launch the conversion. Tips: Under "Customize", there is "Effect" adjustment for a better visual effect, "Trim" to delete the bad spots and leave the good scenes, and "Crop" to remove the margins for a proper video dimension. This step can help to shrink the video size as well. If it's not needed, ignore it.......

RGB To S-video Converter For Using HDTV As Computer Monitor?

Feb 25, 2009

A pal of mine with low sales resistance went out and against advice, bought a Wal-Mart special; an HP Pavilion "Slimline" with No S-video and HDMI outputs. According to the specifications for this HP S3713W, the video/graphics are all on the motherboard .

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01623239&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3870526

Furthermore, though there is in her "Slimline" one available slot provided to accept a "replacement" graphics card (for whichever model would have such a card) according to the manual, it will accept only "low profile" cards, and even at that they warn it still might not fit, so as to allow the inputs and outputs be exposed at the opening.
And since for her computer, this would not be a card replacement, those "cables" and plugs they refer to would be who-knows-where on the motherboard, or even hard-wired to it.

So now I'm wondering about something like this RGB to S-video
converter . . .

http://www.js-technology.com/product_info.php?products_id=34

My friend is largely blind, but she can see images and text on a large screen. My question is this: would such a converter enable video output from her computer to a large 42" LCD HDTV--and if so, would the mouse function be operative on that large screen same as on the 19" LCD monitor that came with her computer? Most importantly, would she get a full 42" display of her desktop and applications?

AVI Video's That Played In XP Wont Play In Vista - Workaround

Mar 23, 2008

Apparently Microsoft has "disabled" older codec's which prevents certain AVI's from playing in Vista. If you have Indeo 3.1x AVI's this hack might be useful. Ironically, Microsoft shipped with Vista all three dll's (the codec) needed to play Indeo 3.1x AVI's, so only this registry key is required to enable them. Intel Indeo was sold to Ligos. Ligos states the following:

"the 3.x video codec is no longer available nor supported"

Microsoft recommends that you convert older AVI's and not use this "deprecated" codec.

WARNING: this is a HACK and involves making a single REG_SZ string. If you do not know what the consequences of editing the registry are you should not attempt this. Use this HACK at your own risk and peril.

To this key, add this REG_SZ value

Vista 32 Ultimate Video Card Not Properly Installed

Apr 10, 2008

I have Vista 32 Ultimate with SP1.Here are the rest of my system specs:XFX 780i motherboard--shipped with P02 bios, already updated to P04,which was just released, Intel Quad Core Q6600 2.4ghz ,4GB G.SKILL 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM 800 PC2 6400,2 XFX GeForce 8800 GT 512MB PCIe 2.0--SLI'd ,Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer PCI,WD Raptor 74GB ,Seagate 250GB,D-Link DWL-AG530 32-bit PCI Wireless Adapter ,2 Pioneer 20X DVD?R DVD Burner Black IDE Model DVR-115DBK , Yes the bios recognizes all 4GB AND the "My Computer" UI "displays" 4GB.

I know, though, about the 3GB limit of a 32bit system(I hear people say that Vista 32 utilizes (NOT recognize, but UTILIZE) 4GB of RAM, but I have yet to see any evidence that supports that, so I will stick to the idea that 3GB is the limit) I know that the 3GB=System RAM+Video RAM. I install 1 Nvdia 8800GT 512mb video card. System RAM reads 2.5GB. 3GB of System RAM-the 512 of the video card=2.5GB. goody gumdrops. I insall the 2nd Nvidia 8800GT 512 video card and enable SLI.System RAM reads 1.5GB? Shouldn't it read 2.0GB?? 3GB of System RAM-512 for card 1-512 for card 2=2.0...not 1.5...??? Where did the missing 500mb go? AND IF Vista 32 is supposed to be able to utilize 4GB, then shouldn't my RAM read 3.5 before SLI and 3.0 after SLI??? I have built and rebuilt, installed and reinstalled and I still come up with the same thing no matter what I try.

No Video On 64 Startup, Change Video Settings

Apr 19, 2008

I have a quad-boot Intel CoreDuo machine with 4 GB of memory and an ATI AIW X1900 Radeon (multi-booting courtesy of EasyBCD). To put the matter as quickly as possible, all four systems (Vista 32, Vista 64, XP, and Ubuntu) have been happily coexisting for a long time. I haven't used Vista 64 for about 10 days and went in to do some work on it this morning. To my surprise, the video disappeared immediately after the green startup wait indicator. Eventually, after about the usual amount of time and hard disk activity, the startup sound came on but absolutely no video. I restored my full backup of the Vista 64 partition from last Sunday=97 same problem!

I went in on safe mode but it is impossible to change video settings or install new drivers in safe mode so that was a dead end. I tried the repair utility that comes with Vista but it could find no problem with startup. My working hypothesis is that something has gone wrong with the video drivers although that may not be the case. Even if it were, I can think of no way of fixing it short of completely rebuilding the Vista 64 system checked desperately do not want to do

Easy Way To Convert Mod/Tod Video To Regular Video

Jun 5, 2009

who has purchased a JVC Everio HDD video camera has probably learned that they chose to use some god forsaken proprietary video format - the .MOD extension. Apparently this is some sort of MPEG2 encoding, however, most major video editing suites prefer not to accept this format? what we need is something more common? such as .AVI or .MPG. I would be happy with the .MOD file format if the software that came with the JVC Everio actually worked.

I have tried many video converters software with no luck so far, it?ll get halfway through the process, and then something will fail. Now a type of converter called *'Mod Converter' appears. X64 8GB + Video RAM?

I have 8GB RAM installed (max for my MoBo) and 2 Video Card 512MB.

So this will mean that my Vista Home Premium x64 have to deal with 9GB
RAM.

How can I be sure that it takes full advantage of all RAM?
In My Computer > property shows 8196MB RAM, my doubt is if really when
I am in Crossfire mode, my PC is able to use the 1024MB Video Ram to get
the best performance in 3D Game.

If somebody can give me a way to check and even better to allow Vista
to use all 9024MB it will be great.

They automatically open in WMP just as they should, and I tried right-clicking menus to switch views, but the view is at 100% full screen mode. I get sound, and I get visualizations (like bars and waves, alchemy, etc) instead of the actual movie. I have looked around the forums but don't seem to see anyone having this particular problem. The files are from a P2P site, but I don't think that's the problem as the sound works fine. And mpeg files from the site play fine.
