Get Rid Of Unread E-mails

I was helping my mate set up MSN live messenger on her compaq laptop running Windows XP media centre and logged into both live messenger and windows messenger with my hotmail address. She has subsequently logged into both with her yahoo address. However, whenever she starts up her pc, the windows sign in screen tells her she has x amount of unread e-mail messages, and refers to my email address.windows referring to my e-mail address at the startup screen

Running windows xp and when I start up my computer and go to login to my account it says I have unread messages but they're not from my hotmail account instead it's showing a friends, who used my computer to check their hotmail, how do i get rid of hers and make it show mine?

How do I stop my windows xp putting a notification on the logon screen saying 32 unread emails. I have read all the emails and yet this message stays there. Is there anyway to disable it?

ATI required installation of MS .Net 1.1 for its display driver. After installation, Windows now displays the number of unread emails in Outlook Express for my username logon. It shows # of messages in "Account A", # messages in "Account B", etc... How do I disable that and restore it to just the password field?

I have a Blackberry (BB) and in our firm we have MS Exchange server 2000. So when an e-mail arrives, it is sent to my BB too. But when the e-mail is written in cyrillic I cannot read it. I found out that when the message is sent as Unicode (Tools --> Options --> Mail Format --> International Options. For MS Outlook) I can read it, otherwise - I can't. But I cannot tell everyone that writes mails to me to do it that way, because not everyone is using Outlook. So is there any option in Exchange that will convert every e-mail that has arrived in Unicode, and that way I could read all cyrillic e-mails on my BB?

in outlook express how can I delete e-mails to be sent from the msg queue, it won't send any messages because of an error in one particular msg. just want to wipe it all out and start over again

I'm having trouble w/forwarding e-mails that have pix. Does that have anything to do w/directx? When I did a search on my computer for directx it said read only is that what it should be? Basicly what is directx/what does it do?

Every time I turn on P.C. I get a warning of a virus of some sort,my emails wont open as they are blocked for some reason by the security and are either deleted or cannot be opened

I updated to Windows Mail Live and all my previous e-mails in Hot Mail are now not available. I believe they are on the server. What i have to do to retrieve them? Running XP Pro.

I have problem in Mozilla Thunderbird Email Cleint, recently due to mail exceeding overlimit in gmail i have started downloading the mails. It was working fine. after sometime i surprised i couldn't find any mail under my local folder like before. No mails found in Local Folder of Thunderbird Email Client. But i can see the 2 GB File INBOX in the HDD. But cannot see in Mozilla Email Client. I just need to retrieve the mails.

I had a complete computer failure & got a new one. Qwest-MSN helped w/ reloading all my preveous emails. Then I began having error messages that "OE has encountered unknown problems & has to shut down" or it would just freeze up for no reason. Emails were coming in in duplicats. (2 of every email in the inbox) (*This problem is still happening)
They had me delete my account & start over several times. Then they forwarded me all my emails they had on their system. OVER 1,000 BEGAN COMING IN! NONE TO THE INBOX! (hidden file) We put a stop to it and began searching where these were being hidden. Since getting the new computer I have not been able to get Spell Check in my OE 6.0 I am told 6.0 does not have this. I had it before changing computers and I used 6.0 then also.

I am having major trouble with windows explorer. Microsoft doesn't even have the error on their website, at least that i can find. The error reads: "The instruction at '0xfe9ed428' referenced memory at '0xfe9ed428'. The memory could not be 'read'."
