Home Edition SP3-Stop Error Comes Up / Try To Shut Down
Dec 20, 2008I cleaned the whole computer with malware bytes, spybot S&D and have spyblaster, ie-spyad and scriptdefender, also norton antivirus. Cleans some stuff like myway mywebsearch and Hotbar no problem computer is clean. The problem is a stop error that stops it for shutting down.You can start it up fine and do what ever you want to do. But when you got to shut it down from start> shutdown>shutdown it pops up the BSOD with stop error. Haven't put in any new hardware or software, everytning is up to date. I unchecked the box for the auto restart made no difference.

As it is my bosses computer and all his program disk have disappeared over the years. He only wants an upgrade.

Jun 18, 2005This has been going on for a long long time. I have never been able to figure this out, but every time I shut down or restart my computer I get a ccapp "End Program" message. It stays up for about 5 seconds before self terminating. Does anybody know what this is or how to solve this problem? I tried a search and the only thing I found out is that ccapp may be associated with Norton Anti-Virus. Which I have, lastest verision. But this problem has occured with earlier versions too.

The required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error status of "0xc000009c".The laptop is slower than normal. Everything else seems to work apart from the internet and msn messenger, which will load up to begin with, but is slow, but then when something is typed into google or i put my information into msn messenger to log on it freezes and says they are not responding to send error report.

We pressed F12 and tried to boot from the CD-ROM and thought it was going to work, but it said that we were trying to install XP on a partition that already had XP on it. Feb 17, 2007I have always shut down my pcs at the end of the day, assuming it saved household electric bills etc. However on my new Vista machine it actually says not to..just to let it go into sleep mode as it's better for it.Ok I can leave that one.. but should I also be leaving my XP pc and lap tops running and if so why? I ran ADAWARE spyware removal and it removes two files that are listed as MALWARE. WindowsSystem32a EXE and Windowssystem32Bridge.dll. If I remove them then I get a notice on startup that it can't find Windowssys32ride.dll.
