Problem is my computer is running slower and slower and it's driving me nuts. Oh and also every once in awhile I can't get java to run (yahoo or any other game site) and it says I don't have it installed but, I just used it the day before. I get the need to download java sun, but I already have it. It's very irritating
View 1 RepliesI'm Running WIN XP SP2, and my java is broken.to help explain how it is broken, i am having problems loading and running core windows parts, such as the Windows Search Bar, it just apears Black, solid black. i can't read the Version information in Internet Explorer (not like it matters, FIREFOX is the Way to Be), and some Local Content won't run, and i think that i opened windows help like 10 minutes ago, and i don't see it on my task bar.i find that web java works pretty well, and LIMEWIRE works fine, and that is a full java 2 based program. i have Sun Microsystems JRE 5 installed, if you need anymore info, let me no, i have a program that i want to activate, but i can't because i can't see the info on the page because it is java based.i do have System Restore on.

For example, if I click on an application from the desktop it will sit there for 10-20 seconds before anything happens. Occasionally I'll click multiple times on something and nothing will happen then 30 seconds later it will open multiple instances of things. This delay has been happening with just about anything I click on, acting like the computer's busy doing something else when nothing else should be going on. I have followed other thread advice and removed old Java files, Adaware and Spybot S& D, and installed Superantispyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, CCleaner and HiJackthis. I have tried everything I know but working on this computer is like watching paint dry.

Pages take too long to load, and I now sometimes get the server error message here, server not responding. Any idea what I can do. View 3 Replies View RelatedI ran Ad Aware SE and later Spyawre Doctor and found nothing also clen temp. files on IE/Tools/temp folders then I ran %temp% and deleted all temp files but it gave me an Error File or Folder mon000 that says close any programs that might be using the file and try again. I don' know what file that is. there are two files that were not deleted: mon000.log and one named Dat.File pefib Perfdata Also ran ATF-cleaner

Don't even ask about the internet. it did not download anything in the last few days and has no idea why this is happening.
