I cannot view video clips, they come up and I hear the sound ok, but the clip itself is all just a heap of colours, bright colours. What is lacking please?? I am on xp home, I have media player and most other pics come up ok. I have zone alarm suite 6 ..
View 12 RepliesMy computer is very slow.. When changing pages it takes for ever to load a page and some times it says it is done but nothing is in the screen and I have to reload it. I have to load small instructional video clips and it will run for a second or two and says buffering.I am not sure what it is I tried to look at my Vertiual memory but I do not understand what it should be set for.

I was looking at some video clips from Solid Works Website and lost the server So that I couldn't finish what I was doing. I wanted my son to see these clips and I was wondering if I have them and am able to access them on my computer without having to go back to Solid Works Website.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've this weird problem. When I tried to view any videos via WMP, Real Player, Quicktime, my cpu usage will jump right to 100% and everything seems to happen in slow-mo. Even with websites playing videos using any of these. They will get my cpu usage to 100%.I've tried to d/l the latest drivers from asus for my graphic card (N7600GS) but www.driveragent.com still says that i have old version of my driver.. What can be done? I've d/led k-lite codec already.
View 13 Replies View RelatedNormally when you double click an image file, the default Windows Picture And Fax Viewer (I'll use WPF for short) program let's you view it. Recently, it's not working. I double click various images that showed up fine bef, but now nothing. It's like I'm Double clicking some empty space. Well, not quit empty space, as i do see the hourglass animation briefly when I do that, but previews in thumbnail and filmstrip mode are no longer there either.My pics are BMP, GIF, and JPG format. Pics i had before, as well as new ones I save using "save picture as" or via a screenshot utility canNOT be opend using WPF. The pics haven't gone corrupt
View 5 Replies View RelatedIn windows 2000, explorer to the left of the folders view, their was a panel that would contain folder/file detail information. This was always displayed even when Folders view was selected to show the folder tree. In XP i can not figure how to get this panel or left side detail view to show. If I close the folders view then I get a left panel that has tasks/places/details tabs. The details tab contains what ai want for info but i also like to have the folders tree viewing also, but it does not display. When I click on folders viiew this window/panel/whatever witht the details in it disappears.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy problem is that in my computer with windows xp I used to always use the thumbnail view in the windows explorer to know which videos where which and also for images. But then my computer got all screwed up and I had to reformat it and install the windows xp again and downloaded all the new service packs and stuff.But now, I go to either the windows explorer or my computer and for images I can see the thumbnails but for videos it only shows either the windows media or realplayer logo but no thumbnail image of the video. It is driving me crazy because I really need to be able to see the thumbnails in order to identity them fast instead of having to open all of them!

I have XP Pro 2002 SP3 Pent4 2.66GHz 1.00GB of RAM Recently I cannot view a video or listen to music without it stopping the music to rebuffer & videos stop.System idle is at 65-70 & iexplore is at 25-30.I do not see anything else running.I do not play games.I did recently download the lastest version of itunes & have read that a number of people are having a buffering problem when listening to radio stations.And I am not able to watch a movie at hulu without it needing to stop I was able to last week.

I then create a restore point.Today, for the first time ever, I needed to restore my computer to a previous date because my XP view changed to Classic view and the option to change it back to XP view wasn't available. But the restore points that I saved were not available. I was given a choice of July 1,2,3,4 and 5. The last time I created a restore point was last Monday, June 27th,but when I clicked on the << arrow to go back to the month of June, it wouldn't go back.What happened to the restore points that I created and why couldn't I access them?I know that they were saved because I received a message that they were created.And I have no idea why my XP view changed to Classic View when I turned my computer on yesterday.

The problem is that the folder is not generating a preview of the file anymore but instead shows the PSD icon. I just got a new computer and it is since then that this has stared, as on my old computer the previews showed up fine. Is this a setting I need to change somewhere?

I then shut my computer down to restart it, used it a few times (in 4-bit safe mode), then after I shutdown again, I cant log back in... it just freezes and the screen flashes, I cannot boot into my computer setup (default f2) or into safe mode (default f8), however I can run the XP cd and get into the recovery console, is there any way that I can change the boot sequence from the recovery console? The screen is dotted with a bunch of dots up and down the screen in columns, and is in 4-bit video mode.

I have managed to put video footage onto my PC from a video cassette (by plugging my VCR into the TV aerial socket). The video footage is saved on my PC as .mpg files & when I open them, they play fine on Windows Media Player.When I import them on to Windows Movie Maker, they are recognised as video footage and I am able to put them into the collections as video. However, for some reason, when I drag them onto the timeline, they go onto the audio line & I can't get them to go on the video line, so when I play it, the sound plays but there is no picture. I have tried saving them as .AVI files but that makes no difference
I have window XP SP2 installed on my laptop. I also use InterVideo WinDVD Creator for video editing. Recently when I try to import video file into my application, my laptop, processing percentage goes up to 98%, and the application just freezes up. I also tried the Microsoft movie maker software and I get the same result. I was wondering if I need to reinstall the application or there is something that my laptop is missing. The application was functioning fine until 2 days ago, and since then I haven't installed any other application.

Use fine, then after its been on for awhile it goes black again. Weird. I have the newest drivers and all the windows updates loaded. It just keeps going out.
