Vista Merely Transition OS Waste Of Space

Don't expect that much from Vista, its not problems, its purpose in first place. Vista is 3 gb with 10 gb of machine space needed to properly run. Great, it also runs modules, Tablet PC & Media will be running at all times, even if you never use them. Thats very hard on resources, yet Vista is first O/S to fit todays massive memory & harddrive potential. Something "known" has to fill in those large memory banks with well running o/s data & Vista is that software. However, two years after Vista intro, Microsoft plans another new o/s, based on Windows XP kernel. Finally taking XP quality to higher & better level (then "blackcombs" replacement). First Microsoft has to learn to control 3 gb of data as single o/s, so Vista will not be that unique, as more stable & known elements are more likely if it will work at all. We can see delay & confusion of placing (hardware) & correctly operating Vista (internals of o/s) already. Thats bugs that need be worked out before radical changes can come to sucvh large amounts of data. I.e., take out module extras & place in better software. Use Vista beta, yet be prepared to go back to Windows XP, until heaven or whole lot of hard work bring on o/s that will use 3 gb & be power whammy as well. It just depends on how much you value $800 retail price Vista will launch at.
