Save Target As In Right Click Not Working
Jan 15, 2005when i tried to download mp3 in a site, i right clicked at the link and tried to click "Save target as" to download the file, but when the box just pop, the "Save target as" is not available..

Feb 25, 2010Whenever I RIGHT CLICK on a Icon/Folder/Editing Pictures my computer says that Zhotkey.exe is not responding and it shows an hourglass for like 5 mins or so and then goes back to my desktop with everything back to normal. That is until it happens again and again, etc. IDK what to do. Basically to put it in a simple version: Right click on ANY file, icon, etc. makes me reboot my computer. Now onto the Sysdaig64.exe problem.How to remove this program so it DOESN'T keep on showing up when I turn on my computer.

Feb 16, 2005When I open a folder (MyComputer, for example), and try to right-click or double-click an icon to open it- it does not work. When I right-click the icon, NOTHING happens. When I double-click the icon, the icon gets highlighted, but the program or other folder does not open. I checked in the folder options, and it is set up so that when you double-click an icon, it opens the program. But the weird thing about it is that if I try to double-click or right-click an icon on my desktop.. it works like it should. So this really just doesn't make sense.

Dec 26, 2007Whenever I start up IE7 "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" pops up. The problem is my internet is working for SOME programs. Firefox is working fine, but IE7 is not. Also Steam, Ventrilo, and AIM work fine, but programs such as, UBI Internet, and Gas Powered Games Internet, and almost all games do not work. It says Winsock error problem, but I have fixed the registry keys and followed all instructions.

I DO have apps that I need to keep and I think I've backed them up to my external HD correctly.

Sep 17, 2008I de-infected a windows XP system with SP3 and IE7. Once I did that, http no longer loaded in IE. It does not work in portable firefox either. I can type in ftp:// ftp address and IE works. Likewise I
can use https:// and the page loads! What is going on: I tried:
1) Reset ie7 as per MS
2) Removed IE 7
2a) IE6 would not load http either
3) reapplied SP3
4) Repair install win winxp cd.
5) Deleted and re-installed network card
This is where I am now. Still no http://. Since multiple applications are affected, I do not think it is a browser helper.
Changed ISP DSL 330 ICS Before Working Now Not Working
May 14, 2007I'm using Speedtouch 330 DSL modem single port when i changed the ISP cannot browse the sharing Internet but i can use Yahoo Messenger. Windows XP, before 3 computers working fine when i changed the ISP internet card thru DSL modem with single port i cannot browse the other with.

Oct 8, 2007Could be something stupid I know but of late I have noticed that I get no menu pop up when I right click in Internet Explorer. I see nothing in the options and even when I reformatted my C Drive and reinstalled Windows I could still not get the right click to work. Any ideas, I know it is not essential, but I am a bit pedantic about these things and I do like everything to work if it is supposed to.

Jan 7, 2004I can not Right Click on the Desktop of my PC. If I try to Right Click, all of the icons and the bottom toolbar dissapears for a second. The background is the only thing visible. And then it comes back after a second or two. Once ina while I get an error message but I cannot Right CLick to open a new folder or anything. It just turns blank. Here is what the error message said. Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. and here are some of the details:

The other problems have been running slower than ever. Programs sometimes just close while running. There is a "Hmck?" or some sort of error every time I start the computer. I have run virus scan and none show up.

For some reason I can't click on any link sent to me in an email (I use Outlook Express) or in a messenger program like MSN or Yahoo Messenger. it seems to be any link that would open a new window when clicked on.It was working fine this morning, but now I can't, even though I've restarted several times.All I've done on my PC today is remove a bit of spyware with X-Cleaner, and installed Windows Media Player 10. I've tried doing a System Restore back to this morning but it's had no effect. Does anyone have any ideas why this is?I'm on a laptop with a touchpad, but everything else is working fine.

However, after installing since the svchost runs continuously, I followed some guides on the net to unregister/register some services. Not sure, if it causes problem or not but at least it can stop svchost from running continuously.

Jan 11, 2006I've literally just started having problems with my computer. Sporadically I have lost the ability to right-click, sometimes whenever I do so on either a folder or on an application, no little menu comes up
Also, when browsing through folders, the loading starts to become very slow and sometimes the blue menu at the side of the window isn't there at all. When I click on images to preview, or folders to open, sometimes nothing happens at all and the window just remains the same.
ALSO whilst trying to open some applications I get the error pop-up sound, but no error message box comes up to tell me what the error is. It just makes the noise, and I close the half-loaded application without it crashing (This happened with Photoshop, Adaware, Outlook Express, and once with Sonic RecordNow - all started loading, the error noise was heard, and the program left half loaded or missing parts) I've tried again and it seems it's all hit and miss like the other symptoms...sometimes i'll be able to right-click normally, sometimes i'll be able to browse files normally, sometimes programs will load, but the problem still (at random moments, it seems) arises again.
When Alt Ctrl Delete -ing, either nothing comes up and an error noise is heard, or the little window with the information does come up, but the desktop behind it flickers as if constantly reloading very fast.
The only error sound in which a box popped up, was one telling me "xvidcore.dll was not found". I clicked OK and everything reloaded as if windows explorer had crashed (the start bar, desktop etc).
I haven't done anything as of now, too scared to restart, or try and open any applications it might not like. I can't be exactly sure when I started to have problems, as I leave the computer on for days at a time sometimes (it's been running for about four days this time, about three days is normally the maximum) because I use BitTorrent a lot seeding and downloading.
