I am running Toshiba Laptop with XP Home Edition (with SP2 added on).I have 2 programs (PowerQuest Drive Image, and Partition Magic), that I have tried to remove via "Add/Remove" programs, problems is they won't remove!How do I do it and get rid of them? I want to use Acronis True Image instead of Drive Image and also their Disk Director suite if necessary to repartition

This tinkering cased another alteration: right mouse click on Start|Explore(and Explore All Users) no longer shows all drives (and their directories & sub-folders) on one screen. Now only one drive (with directories & sub-folders) is shown at a time.

There is no Change/Remove button in Add/Remove Programs but the program is there, 150 MB, and the file suggested on the HP website for uninstalling older printers from XP produces a message that it's "unsupported" can't remember exact verbiage, been a while since last tried. Even reinstalled in the hopes that a message would come up to the effect "this program is already installed, do you want install to remove it prior to completing this install," but it just installs the printer again with a number after it ... Another problem that I am having is: When I go to add/remove programs, there are NO programs. The message says to wait while the list is being populated but nothing ever shows up. When I first turn on the computer yesterday, it started to beep when it did the Memory Test. Also, it kept beeping (long beeps) and can not do nothing at the desktop.
