She is trying to use Win Live Messenger.When she tries to open the messenger, even without the camera on, her system slows down or completely stops. Is Win Live Messenger compatible with XP? Is the old Intel cs630 web cam compatible (even with the drivers for XP)? It does tell her to have service pack 2 or above and she has service pack 3 installed.

I have installed windows live messenger from the free download (the one with the picture of the two women chatting) 8.0..8.1? Jul 20, 2010I have a weird login prob. I cant log into windows live chat under one user name, but all others work for loggin in. I can get into hotmail with this ID and can also log into the web messenger with this id. I have been also able to log into windows live on other computers with this ID. It just wont let me in on this one computer! The error id is 81000306. Most repair suggestions assume that NO logins can occur. I've tried so many and still no success. Oct 1, 2007I am running Windows XP on a HP Pavilion ze2000.I think I have a problem with Windows Live Messenger. Actually, I think I have several problems:
1. Messenger tries to load in my tray when I start the computer. It never did this before. It also does the same when I connect to my broadband via dialler. At the moment I am denying access through Zone Alarm. Is this normal?
2. In All Programmes I have a Windows Messenger Icon and a Windows Live Messenger Icon. Again, is this normal? There is only an option to remove Live Messenger in Add or Remove Programmes.
3. There is a "1 contact pending" message above the contact list in my Live Messenger, which leads to a "page not available" message when I click on it.
3. When I close Live Messenger, I get multiple "RPC Server Not Available" warnings which I keep closing but keep reappearing. They appear too fast for me to close them, so I have to restart my machine.
