When going to certain websites, I'm receiving a message saying that I need to install Flash. I have gone to Adobe's site to download it, and it says "Flash successfully installed" but apparently that is not the case.
View 5 Repliesafter upgrading to adobe flash 9 i can no longer play flash, like Internet, etc. when i try to install it again it fails everytime. i even tried installing in safe mode. i have windows xp. sorry.. i can't remember the error, i'll have to try it again to see.what's going on with adobe? i also had trouble with the pdf reader on explorer and had to reinstall.

Does this mean I don't have it on my computer? How could I see videos before this past week but can't now? I have no problems with IE, which I use occasionally but Firefox is my favorite.

We were having issues with our flash player so I finally got irratated and removed some things and reinstalled the flash player. Well apparently I deleted my sound device and couldn't get it back. It kept saying I needed the cd. So I got my windows Xp cd and re downloaded it. Which completely reset everything (I know well duh) but I still don't have a sound device. How do I get sound back!
View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to say this computer has not been turned on in more then a year. Family that got it off me said it didn't work... That it just beeped and shut off...only thing that looked wrong to me today at a glance was that little switch in the back was set to 230 and not 115 so I flipped it back to 115 and up until now it seemed to work fine and as fast and noisy as I remember (it's pretty big and I think a counted 12 or 13 fans in it once)...according to the guy I got it from when he "upgraded" to some sort of water cooled system or something (actually I think he just dropped parts in a vat of oil *shrugs*), he said, that this is running hot. the little readout next to those knobs to control the fan speeds are reading from 58 F, 120.8 F and 88.2...but I know my body temperature is in the 90's and the internal air feels moderate while the shell that it is all in is cold to the touch...I do not know if that could have anything to do with my actually problem.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSomething is wrong with my flash drive. I've been saving files to it, and each time before disconnecting I go to "stop" the drive before removing it. However, most of my files have been lost on it, reduced to some obscure format that I can't work with. Also, each time I put it in, I get this message asking me if I want to scan and fix errors on the flash drive. Selecting "more options" reveals that, apparently, it's not a Windows XP drive.What is going wrong? Is there some way to just re-format the entire zip drive and start from scratch?

So here it is...I go to install photoshop and I click the setup.exe and a window pops up saying Loading InstallShield. It gets to 99% then stops and the window vanishes. I've tried from the hard drive as well, but the same thing happens. I receintly added another few minutes onto it, and I seem to get "Error: Out Of Memory" at the same part every time. when its at 67%, I get this Error. When I tried to install .8 I got a message that read: "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can acces it." So was going to just remove Adobe 7.05 in Add/Remove and got the same message. Went to C:program files and got the same message. I can't get Adobe off my computer. I really need help. The 7.0.5 won't open anything, get the same message. I don't know where the source file would be if it isn't in C:program files.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have been having problems actually opening the adobe website for the past 4 weeks.I realise that macromedia redirects to adobe and so therefore I also have problems there.Fortunately I managed to reinstall my adobe reader and flash installers from a cd.When I type in the address, after it seems to have searched for a while I get the seasearch from MSN that says the site does not exist and asks if i meant to go to adobe.com! On clicking any links to adobe I just get the page cannot be displayed message!The odd thing is that after I reinstalled the adobe reader from the cd, it came up with 3 updates from the website and I installed them.I am running Windows XP, and have run AVG and adaware scans with no problems. I also run zone alarm (adobe is allowed, must be else it wouldn't have updated itself?)

View 6 Replies View Relatedi'm trying to uninstall Adobe Audition 3.0 so i can reinstall, but everytime it gets to the "remove" part of the uninstallation process it freezes. i tried deleting it manually through "run>regedit" but its still there even through it is no longer in "add/remove programs" or "run>regedit" ..i tried reinstalling just in case, but it had me remove or repair previous versions of AA3, and both options still cause it to freeze.

The screen that the thumbnails are on has the option of 1. Get photos,2. Save, with file location listed. BUT it wont allow me to save. At the bottom the only two options are Get photos and Cancel. How can I save my pictures?
