Tablets :: Install Full Version Of Microsoft Office 2007 On Asus Me400c
Jun 6, 2013
if I can install a full version of microsoft office 2007 on an asus me400c. It does not have a usb port but perhaps could put files on sd card but don't know if there is enough space on the hard drive although retailer tell me there is. I want tablet to take whenout of the office for a few days and need to be able to use word.
Is it possible to install Microsoft Office Standard 2007 on Windows 8? If so then how? I have a physical disk and valid product key and I really don't have the money to buy a newer version of MS Office. When I try to install Microsoft Office Standard 2007 I enter the product key and hit continue, agree to the terms of the agreement, click continue then hit install now and it tries to install Microsoft Office Standard 2007, but after a few minutes I get this message:
Microsoft Office Standard 2007 encountered an error during setupClick to expand...
So far I am extremely happy with my Asus table and Windows 8.1. Everything I have tried to do was simple and easy except one thing. Since for some (stupid reason IMO) reason few of the Windows tablets have the GPS enabled the ME400C included so i am forced to use a Bluetooth GPS. But I have found few maps that are off line. I have tried about every app I can find and the most promising was HERE that has offline maps but it doesn't seem to support the GPS, at least I haven't been able to get it to see my BT GPS. Any good combination of the works with a Bluetooth GPS and has offline maps?
I have a Asus VivioTab ME400C. I am trying to instal Microsoft Autoroute onto my tablet. I have tried over the network from my desktop using the /a option to install over a network (which Autoroute Demands). But when I try to instal Autoroute from the transferred code it demand disk 2 be inserted but fails to recognise it.
There must be a way of installing programs from a CD/DVD on Windows 8.
I tried copying the CD's to SD drives but no luck. Also tried moving the install code to one directory.
The annoying thing is I did this last week but later the SD card failed.
My BT keyboard is no longer discoverable by my ASUS Vivotab ME 400C.
Seemed to suddenly stop working after a couple of incidents where a letter would be repeated 1 hundred times. (i.e. "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" for "e")
The keyboard was recognized by my Blackberry and is working.
I went to Windows Support section and it said to go to PC Settings/Devices/Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on, but I was unable to locate a place to turn Bluetooth off or on.
I went into Device ManagerBluetoothBluetooth Radio and found status "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)."
This may have occurred quite shortly after I installed an ASUS BIOS update, but I think it was a couple of days at least. I installed Windows 8.1 when it was initially released and had problems with SDBUS shutting down the tablet. The BIOS update fixed that.
I checked the Driver on the Bluetooth radio and it says it's the best one for the device.
I thought maybe I should uninstall/re-install the driver but I've never done this. That is I don't know if the Bluetooth icon will disappear altogether or something wierd.
I installed windows 8.1 in clean mode . now I want to reset to factory default but I have not backuped media. but I have recovery partition but I can not build recovery disk because when I use"create recovery drive" wizard I can not select " copy the recovery partition from the pc to the recovery drive" because it is inactive.
I used to have Office 2007 on my computer. Recently, when trying to install 2013, I found out I had to first uninstall 2007. Simply using programs and features was not so simple, and I had to do it manually, which I probably ended up doing some steps wrong. Now, when I constantly click on certain things-- like control panel or personalization-- I receive an installer for Microsoft Enterprise 2007. Obviously, I do not want this; frankly, I don't even know what it is; I assume some part of Office. If I attempt to complete the install, I get an error of having insufficient files .If I click cancel, it does cancel, however; I get a windows explorer error.
Having issues with my installation. I've tried man methods but an Error always occurs. It says something about my invalidity to install due to previous trial versions of microsoft office is already installed. The thing is, i have no office in my rig yet. I've tried installing trial versions then uninstalled it, but still the same problem occurs.
Whenever I try to install Microsoft Office 2013, the progress bar reaches full then reverses about half way then I get an error saying "Microsoft setup bootstrapper has stopped working". I have already tried clean booting, safe mode, turning off AV, using repair kit. I tried installing Microsoft .NET framework but it said my OS already comes with it, however I cannot find it in Programs and Features.
INFO -I do not press "Install" I use a custom install settings -I have autorun disabled so I open it by running setup.exe as admin -I have the preview evaluation version -32 bit version will install however I want 64 bit because my computer is a 64 bit OS
I upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate x86 to Windows 8 Pro with Media Center x64 5 months ago.
I installed Office 2013 Pro Plus 4 months ago, last 2 weeks I tried to uninstall it (for some bugs) but it didn't fully uninstall because of "Printer Spooler" service was not available (It was an issue but I resolved it last week). So I tried to uninstall but I didn't find Office 2013 in Add/Remove Programs, I never-minded and tried to install Office today, it was 99% finished but it rolls back and give me an error "Microsoft Professional Plus encountered an error during setup" and I click "Finished" then the setup says "Microsoft Bootstrapper has stopped working" so I read in the internet and people says that some registry keys is still there so I tried the Office 2013 Uninstall Fix-It program where it is here but it doesn't find anything! So I found a video on how to uninstall Office 2010 manually, and I used it on Office Pro Plus 2013 but nothing! I opened Event Viewer and found the Office 2013 log:
Fault bucket , type 0 Event Name: OfficeClassicSetup Response: Not available Cab Id: 0
[Code] .....
The log is found in the attachments!
I have Windows 8 Pro with Media Center x64 and I tried installing both Office 2013 Pro Plus x86 & x64 and in this log I used x64!
Office 2013 will not install on my computer. It starts going and at some point it just says there's an error and quits. It doesn't give me an error number or anything, it just stops. Here's a little context though:
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13, and overall I've been very satisfied with the computer. However, it only came with a 128 GB SSD hard drive, so I decided to add another 128 GB SSD in the second hard drive slot. I got it in the computer and it works perfectly as far as I can tell. The only other thing I changed on my computer was to move the music library to the new hard drive. After adding the hard drive, I tried to use office some time later and it wouldn't work. I tried repairing it with the install disk, and it didn't work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and it didn't work. It always just stops at some point as I said above. Is there a reason adding a hard drive or moving a library would effect Office?
Any way to do a clean install of Windows 8.1 on a Windows 8 tablet.
Tablet Model is ASUS VivoTab Smart ME400C-C2.
It came originally with Windows 8 32bit. I was wanting to know if there is a possibility of doing this with a Windows 8.1 Disc.
Now I know there is a way to hook up a portable optical drive with a cable called a USB OTG.
I was told by ASUS though i would not be able to boot from the optical drive like a PC or Laptop could and to be able to boot from this OS disc so i can do the install this way.
So is there is a way maybe by making a disc. image and putting it on it's MicroSD or running it directly from the disc, i am not sure how this would work wanting to do a custom install.
Question is there any differences with the Windows 8 OS on the tablet now, compared to the OS on the disc usually used for a PC or Laptop ?
I have Windows 8-1 and Office 2007. When I start typing into Word the top third of the type is missing. No matter how far down the page I go or how large the font the top third is missing.
I have a surface pro 1 with windows 8.1 installed. When I am on the metro screen and I click the Internet Explorer tile, I am sent to the desktop and the desktop version IE opens. How do I rein-able the touch version of IE.
I have IE 11 installed. I also have classic shell installed.
I have a MSI GS70 which I recently bought about two months ago. I have updated to windows 8.1. Whenever I try to open a document from USB drive that has the format associated with a microsoft office application I get a BSOD. I ran an SFC scan, and it came back clean. I can open up the files when I copy them over but when it comes to opening it from the USB I get the BSOD.
I have a full windows 8.1 tablet (not RT), original and comes with Office too, (got the keys). The internal eMMc is 32GB so I learnt from windows that the recovery partition can be copied to a USB. So I did and windows asked, do I want to delete the recovery partition, so I deleted it to create bigger space.
Now, I have some problem with my windows, virus and stuff, so I wanted to recover from USB. The problem is, how do I make full recover from the USB? Some sites say I cannot do it due to I've changed the partition? What?
I have had no luck with this at all. As the contacts never transfer from the Cloud to my computer. I assume they are supposed to. Where can I find a good tutorial to guide me thru the process?
I have an original version of windows 8 in my acer laptop and I want to install Microsoft Office 2013 and activate it with "KMSnano v26" or "Windows 8 and Office 2013 Permanent Activator Ultimate v14.0". Can it affect my Windows's version.
On my Dell Latitude 10, when viewing HTML5 YouTube videos in full screen on IE10 in Modern mode, I can't bring up the playback or screen size controls. Tapping the screen shows the title of the video and the share and info icons, but nothing else. I can pinch to zoom the video, and can drag it around a little and see the actual page for the video underneath, but I haven't found a way to actually close full screen mode. When I switch to the Flash version of YouTube everything works as expected, i.e. tapping the screen brings up the controls at the bottom of the video.
A co-worker has a Surface Pro, but I haven't seen how YouTube behaves on that yet to see if it's a problem specific to the Latitude.
I get an error showing specific module missing while trying to install MS Office 2013... I uninstalled older version using Microsoft fix it also..... Even that's is of no use... How to over come this error
Download of Open Office 4.0.0 from SourceForge failed on Win 8 ASUS laptop.
Error Message:
C:UsersSusanDownloadsApache_OpenOffice_4.0.0_Win_x86_install_en-US.exe.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator.
I did not have a problem with the same download on a Vista machine. I sent an email to SourceForge. No response yet.
I have an ASUS VivoTab that kept draining the battery. I noticed that after shutting down, I would open up the case or transleeve and discover it was on.
After determining that I hadn't accidentally left it on, I watched it after shutting down one evening and indeed about 2 minutes later, it turned itself back on.
I shut it down using the shutdown from the initial screen. That is, I did not use the Charms bar, select Settings and shut down. This appears to work.
I got the Win 8 pro upgrade and since I am getting a nice refund for taxes I am buying an new motherboard cpu and ram.
What I would like to know is am I still going to be able to use the Upgrade on the new hardware? I can install win 7 first then do an upgrade if need be. Will I have to do something with the activation or what?
I am unsure of what is going to be required of me. Am I still legal with the upgrade install or will I have to buy an oem or retail?
Recently I upgraded my wife's Dell All In One from Windows 8 to 8.1 by going to Microsoft Store and selecting the upgrade panel for 8.1. It went smoothly even if slowly. I then tried doing the same thing for my Asus Q200E Laptop.
When I went to the store all I saw were apps for ASUS. How can I get to the real Microsoft Store to get the 8.1 upgrade?
