Any information that was not saved before the computer went into hibernation will be lost."It does this ever time it goes into hibernation, I disabled it and I have no problems now but I want my computer to hibernate because I leave it on all day long and it will wear components out faster and waste power.I have tried updating all the drivers and hardware drivers from the website for the HD but nothing helped.
Any time I start an application that requires a moderate amount of processing, the whole computer skips. By skips, I mean the audio glitches and makes an annoying sound, the video freezes for a fraction of a second before catching up, etc. I was working on a video editing project last night, for instance, and this problem got really bad then. Now it happens whenever I try to play music through iTunes, or even a video online. So far, I have tried updating video card drivers, checking for updated chipset drivers, checking for possible overheating - nothing has helped. The Computer: I just bought the base components for this computer and received them in the mail less than a week ago. View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been getting this error message:"exception processing message parameters 0xc000007FEFC3E718C"every time I shut down or log off, accompanied by "Bad Image" messages from time to time, usually concerning davhlpr.dll. I've run the System File Checker three times, and each time it returns an error saying davhlpr.dll is corrupt and it can't restore it from the file store. I tried replacing davhlpr.dll with a copy I downloaded - once in Safe Mode and after setting the proper authorizations -, but each time I run the System File Checker it still shows davhlpr.dll as corrupt and says it can't replace it. By the way, I get the same "exception processing message" error when logging off in Safe Mode and from a brand-new account I created.This is a fully updated, recent install of Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. It seems to have started happening after I tried a couple of dialog-box enchancement utilities. But I've uninstalled everything I'd installed from before it started happening.

I use my PC for audio production and I have a few external controller devices that are USB powered, for example a midi keyboard. I recently had to build PC due to a theft....long story short after building the new PC I've noticed that my USB buses have continual power to these external devices after I've powered down the PC. My old windows 7 PC did not do this. Is there a setting I can change to shut off power to the USB buses when I power off the PC? Or is this a hardware issue?

(I had 8 of them 3 days ago.)I assume I have a hardware problem, but nothing has been found and I'm grasping at straws.The time between power off and power on is several seconds.I had assumed this rules out a software cause, but maybe I'm wrong. View 3 Replies View Relatedive been getting BSODs and finally figured out how to debug it with WinDbg (x86) and set the symbols for windows but i cant read the text. ive tried reinstalling my GPU and Java but no luck. when i try to run intel driver update utility as soon as i run it i get a BSOD ive got the minidump here if anyone knows how to read it, so here you go.

My computer wouldn't shut down, even with holding in the power button, and so I just let it run out the battery. Then it wont turn on. I tried holding down the power button to clear out any charge that might be remaining. I have managed to get it back on, but I have to make a connection at the clip where you plug the power button ribbon into the mobo. Also, this is the second time I have had to do this. The computer works fine afterwards...or seems to anyway.

One of the PC's is a windows 7 pro 32 bit and the other is window 7 ultimate 64 bit. I have had them setup with public and dedicated folder sharing. But from time to time I find that a file I want to get off one or the other was not saved to a shared folder. I have been looking for a way to allow complete access from one PC to other one (going both directions). I use 2 PC all the times and it really depends on where I am in the house as to what one I am using as one is laptop and the other is a desktop. They are both on the same network. It is just one of the strange things that I have not been able to find a way to get complete file access without the use of software like Teamviewer or others like it.What I would like to do it just go to the network location in the windows explore to get the files I want from the other PC.
