Ok, I have a Dell Dimension E521, so far here is the recent errors that i took by screenshots. This is the error i get everytime, when trying to start yahooIM. Which I may call it yahooIM error start up b/c its in my way. Ok here i go into registry mechanic, scanning my pc and so.
To this.
and
and guess what?
It can't be repaired.
So, the serious one i'm in trouble about... which is a burning one... idk if this a real virus or not b/c my CA Anti-Virus picked it up, and my PC Tools don't see anything in it.
But i'm really concern about this, and It has something to do with my computer...
please...reply and or fix or something about this ASAP b/c if i accidently delete it, it either going to disable my pc features or something. Also it say I can't delete it... O.o
There has, so far, been no issues with drivers for 7000 for the Acer 5920gmi that I use. To disable my touchpad I installed the Synaptics driver just to disable the touchpad.
All drivers installed during installation and on first update the rest were installed.
I have installed build 7000 and it has been working pretty good for the last week.
Now my usb drives and sticks stopped working. OS will see the drives, but cannot access them. It shows drive as raw data, when I plug it in on XP or Vista the drive works fine. What could cause this??
I have been having random graphical issues. Sometimes in games (ie. COD4) the screen goes black when a new map loads. I then have to exit the game and reboot the PC, hoping it fixes my issue. Also, since I updated to the latest version, there are random graphical glitches in the game (weird objects on the ground and in the air in the game). Now the issue is much worse:
When I boot up my PC, my taskbar is completely blank, except for the Start Button. I'd be willing to deal with this issue if I knew how to fix it when it pops up. I uploaded a screenshot here: [URL] I'm running the latest drivers from Windows update from Nvidia. My motherboard is the EVGA Nforce 680i.
[code]I upgraded board, memory, cpu and started getting these dumps and just can't figure out where they are coming from.Asus P8H67 MLX i5 2300 8gb G.Skill Sniper Series. Also upgraded GTX460SE video card but without any Dumps, had it about a month before the other parts were installed, but it has started driver crashing alot as of late. [code]
It is a new build and it runs fine with 2Gb of memory installed, but as soon as i insert a second memory stick it goes through BIOS and 2-5 seconds of the Windows Logo before a bluescreen flashes by and the screen goes black. It will reboot and perform a Windows repair but with the same result. Same thing happens if I install my graphics card.
since running on 2Gb of memory and on-board graphics isn't my plan
In both build 7048 and 7068 I have massive memory leakage going on in the gadget sidebar, and can't solve the problem aside from restarting the process to clear the memory.
Is MS aware of this? And is there a fix in newer builds? Otherwise, any useful advice?
My current system was upgraded to windows 7 32bit from vista 32bit (I bought the windows 7 home premium upgrade disc when it was first released). I am going to build a complete new system. Can I install windows 7 64bit from the same windows 7 disc? Or do I have to buy a new windows 7 disc? Is there a way around buying a whole new disc?
I am currently running OS 7 Beta RC Build 7100. Were do I get this newer version, is there a big difference? And am I able to upgrade to the newer Beta?
I realize that October is fast approaching for the RTM but I plan to keep running the Beta for a couple of months past the Grand Opening.
Is it possible that all the updates that I have received equally add up to the newer build?
I installed Win 7 x64 on a new computer, on the last day the beta of 7000 was available. I have Windows Updates turned on, so I thought I'd be notified of beta updates, but I just checked, and I'm still on 7000.
How/where do I download updates?
And can I install them over 7000? I assume so, since I've found messages detailing which drivers needed updating after installing 7048 etc., but I do want to be sure.
This is my first post to the forum - apologies if I've asked a question that's in the archive. I did search, but didn't come up with anything. Are there FAQs anywhere?
To make long story short, I need to buy this old ATI Radeon 7000 but I want to make sure that this card is supported by windows 7.
I search for official driver from AMD but seems they no longer support it but I found the driver for windows 7 on the net. ATI Radeon 7000 drivers. Can someone please confirm it works with Windows 7?
I installed 10,000 fonts and it was definitely not the best idea (I suggest not to do this) since it impacted the performance of my Laptop significantly, during start up as well as programs. After removing the fonts from registry and the Font Folder, the startup and performance is almost up to speed but not as it used to be. So I am wondering, what needs to be done to bring my computer at its optimal again? I used Ccleaner, Disk Clean Up. I think the issue lies in the fact that my Font folder says it has 7,000 fonts in there when clearly there isn't.how to make it display properly and my computer back up to speed? I think it's possible there are more fonts stored somewhere which is making the display going haywire. It's unfortunate that after uninstalling the fonts, perhaps my programs are loading up and running slower than usual.
I started the upgrade and left the computer installing...
When I came back I saw a BSOD (0x0000007b (0x80786b68), 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).
I restarted and saw 2 options (Windows SETUP and Windows 7).
Computer gone to Windows Setup again and showed BSOD again. So I restarted and got Windows 7 7000 again... (no changes made). I received a message saying that the upgrade couldn't be made and my original version was restored or something else...
I have no idea about the reason of the BSOD. Never had problems with 7000.
I have loaded XP on my other pc like 3 times. The first time it lasted a while then started getting blue screens. Reloaded again, same thing. I recently tried again, but this time the system went to blue screen 3 days later. I did notice that after the last MS windows update was finished, it wanted a restart, then after the restart, it would never boot to the OS.
The pc just starts up and goes to the windows boot/splash screen and just keeps repeating itself. I am not sure what to do at this point. Could this be a sign of a bad HDD, or cd-rom drive, maybe the mo-bo?
Would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me with this problem! I do apologize if I should have posted this elsewhere, but am just desperate to get this pc running proper!
anyone else have this problem where their laptops touchpad is not working with the 7000 build of windows 7. its a toshiba laptop. i tried to install the touchpad driver for it, and it shows that the device is working properly through the device manager, but nothing happens. ive tried turning the touchpad on and off and it still does nothing. the mouse worked perfectly fine when i had xp installed on it, but once i changed to windows 7, it just stopped working.
Thinking about buying a new keyboard and mouse soon. I been looking at this type of keyboards for about a year now I'm not sure if that type of design would work the best for a gaming keyboard.
I tried installing the upgrade build 7057 over 7000 (x86) and it seemed to work fine. But then Windows 7 boots into the message "preparing your desktop for first use". It follows the message "Setup will continue after restarting your computer" and after ca. 1 Minute it restarts and does exactly the same. I tried that for about 5 times and it keeps doing that. No error messages.
Did anybody have this problem as well? Any ideas for troubleshooting?
Addition: I have just seen that people have problems with Norton 360, which I have installed, too. Maybe I can boot into safemode and remove Norton - I will try this tonight and report.
Recently I noticed an error occurring each time I start my computer and how to correct it? The error is Event ID 7000. It says that "The ASInsHelp service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. When I search on my computer for anything with "ASInsHelp" in the title it takes me to an application extension file in a folder under Asus called PC Prove II. PC probe II is a program I tried to install but was unable to due so because my mobo did not support it.
I've got a strange one here. I work for a small IT business that builds PC's for home consumer use. We have a standard computer build that we make and sell that performs fine. (Win 7 64 bit Pro,asus f1a55-m lx plus r2.0 mobo, AMD a8-5600k proc, Radeon HD 6000 onboard video).
We've built hundreds identical to this, but this morning I came across one that had a peculiar problem. Any time you go to change the monitor's resolution (on any monitor), the timer for it to revert back if it goes out of range is set at 7000 seconds (as opposed to the standard 30). I've never before come across something like this. I looked through every configuration setting known, and exhausted my google resources as well. I can't find anything at all on this subject.
havng serious trouble with my DirectX 9.See from a few days ago...my games (which used to work and look perfect) started showing weird black triangular gaps/shapes on the screen and on character models and on environments.at frst i thot it was a problem wd my Gfx card (Radeon HD 4350) ...so i updated the software of amd radeon from net.but the prblem stil persisted. Now recently...as i was playing AVATAR (which was shwng the abovementioned gfx problems)..i swtched from directX 9 to DirectX 10 ...from a option given in the main menu..and the gfx prblem was sorted beautifully. Now the problem is my other games are still showing the problem...i cant find out how to change the directX for those games
