Disable Test Mode Watermark But Keep Test Signing Enabled?
Mar 10, 2011I've been using my Ps3 controller as an alternative to an Xbox 360 controller on my PC (to play games with a gamepad) but in order to use my Ps3 controller as a makeshift 360 controller, I need test signing enabled.
Unfortunately with test signing enabled I get a big ugly watermark at the bottom right of my screen, as far as I know the only way to disable this is to disable test signing, otherwise it just won't leave! Is there any way I can get past this and somehow keep driver test signing enabled but get rid of that horrid watermark ruining my gorgeous wallpaper?
Side Effects Of Using Test Mode In Windows 7?
Jan 31, 2011There's a certain program that I use that needs me to run Windows in Test Mode to work correctly (to run unsigned drivers, I think). I know the program is legit because I've used it before and I know it won't harm my PC. But is there any downside to being permanently in Test Mode? Like, problems installng other programs or random system crashing? Or is it ok to just leave Test Mode enabled all the time?My system.Lenovo Y560d

Jul 13, 2012What do I need to do? I can't get on the internet, use my mouse, or do anything. I used the bcdedit.exe command and the watermark went away, but its still acting like its in test mode.

When I shut down computer or it ask me to restart every time it take update of the same file and after restart, my windows again downloading the same file and a strange (Test Mode Windows Build) thing is appearing just right down corner of the task bar where the digital clock is been displayed. This is the only file which is taking update every time I restart my Workstation. I am giving info of file that is causing update again and again: Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2607576).

Since late this morning a strange icon has appeared on the right side of the screen, whatever program I am running. It looks to be about 10% of the vertical size of the screen, is fixed, is a black rounded square and contains an arrow head pointing up standing on a narrow base outlined in white. The arrow head contains a capital A with a backward slash over it, and the slash extends out of the arrow head at the top. What this might mean, and how I can remove it?
