Laptop's Left Speaker Does Not Work / Only Right Speaker Works
Sep 2, 2012I recently purchased DELL N5050 laptop. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate OS on it. I installed all the drivers required from this link: url...But whenever i play any media (viz., audio/video), only front-right speaker sound playing can be heard. The front-left speaker does not work. Its a brand new laptop. I tried re-installing all the drivers (which i thought may not have been installed properly).

Jul 1, 2012I installed 2 hard drives using a caddy in my laptop, 1 SSD for the OS and 1 HDD for data. Every once in a while (once a year id say) I still need the DVD drive so I bought an external DVD enclosure (Generic). The problem right now is that windows doesn't recognize it or rather doesn't recognize it correctly.On windows 7 pro x64.here is a pic of the device manager so windows recognizes it a a disk drive automatically (changed it manually to optical drive) and adds a portable device (? WPD FileSystem Volume Driver). The drive appears in My computer but empty.
What Iv tried:
- chose manually all available drivers from windows in update driver.
- disabled power management on usb
- other usb port/computer (on Windows 7 32bits)
- using a power cable instead of the usb power cable
- google search for drivers using the device id ( USBSTORDISK&VEN_GENERIC&PROD_EXTERNAL&REV_1.12303030303030303030303030&0)

Sep 9, 2010So yesterday I bought these quadrophonic speakers from a friend. The problem is, that only front right is working (everywhere- in test, windows sound, music, games etc.)... I thought that the other speakers might be bad, switched them but no- now when the FR speaker is the different one, it is still working and the others are not... I plugged the green wire in the green socket, the black one (rear) in the black socket, confirmed it in the realtek manager (front speakers, rear speakers)... I tried setting it to other mods (5.1, 7.1), it�s the same, only front right speaker is working... I downloaded the newest driver (2.52 or whats the newest one) both from gigabyte and realtek...When I plug the green wire in my notebook headphones socket, both speakers work ok (I have Windows 7 ultimate on my notebook to, but the sound card is not realtek hd)...

It was reinstalled which seemed to help a LITTLE, but sometimes you have to incert a cd 7 or eight times before it will read it. I can see that there is a cd inserted (when I go to my computer I can see the D drive). Just doesn't read them all the time. I have a Dell with a vertical cd drive. When I view it through the control panel it says my driver is up to date.

Nov 3, 2011Just bought a new Lenovo G770 5 days ago. Running Win7 64bit. The system repeatedly thinks the CTRL key is being pressed when it isn't. In the middle of typing a sentence, suddenly every letter I type performs the associated ctrl key action. The only remedy is a complete reboot (and loss of data in the process). I have googled this problem and it seems pretty common, but all I've found are a lot of suggestions (some of them too technical) and no clear solutions. Some of the non-useful suggestions I've gotten already: "Wedge the CTRL key up" ~ it is not physically stuck; I have not even touched the key when this happens. If the key were simply physically stuck, a reboot would not solve the problem. "Clean your keyboard" ~ the keyboard is not dirty; it's 5 days old.

Aug 16, 2011I have a duel boot desk top computer. Windows Xp x 32 and Windows 7 x 64. I modified my server load screen and wanted to check it so I hit the print screen key and pasted it to paint and all I get is a back screen instead of the load screen image. Then I took a image of my desk top and the image is fine. Did the same thing on windows xp and everything is fine,the load screen image and the desk are image are coming out just the way there suppose to. Is there a setting that I'm missing on windows 7 that could be causing my problem.

Sep 3, 2012The touchpad stopped working properly about 8 months ago. It was not a big matter to me as i only use USB mouse as pointing device. But yesterday i experianced a strange error. WHEN I START WINDOWS THE CURSOR AUTOMATICALLY SELECTS THE LAST ICON ON MY DESKTOP AND IT STRATS BLINKING.EVEN WHEN I OPEN "MY COMPUTER" OR ANY FOLDER OR ANY DROP DOWN MENU,IT OPENS WITH THE LAST DRIVE/THE LAST FOLDER/THE LAST FILE PRESELECTED AND WHEN I CLICK ANY OTHER DRIVE OR FOLDER THE CURSOR ONLY OPENS THE LAST DRIVE/FOLDER/FILE WHICH MEANS I CAN'T USE MY COMPUTER AT ALL.But sometimes it works fine about 30 mins and then again the same problem begins.
