In the last phase of the installation the computer behaves as if it was in loop. For such an inference I waited for some hours the end of the procedure and nothing happened every time in that I tried the installation. 0x80070570 Error
I get 0x80070570 error when setup is unpacking I have read something about it and found some things that can be solutions:No USB plugged in (just tested - doesn't work) No recovery partition (not tested, going to test) 2 GB memory instead of 3 GB For the latest point I don't know if it will work, because I have 1GB+2GB memory and not 3x1GB. Does it work with 1x2GB? I'm running clean install from upgrade dvd. Does anyone have other solutions to this problem? And do the points mentioned above work?

Error: 0x80070570
I am trying to install Windows 7 32-bit RC on a desktop PC. I have previously used this disk successfully to install the OS on a laptop. I keep getting an error message to the effect that Windows cannot install required files. Error code: 0x80070570 Initially I thought that this was due to a flaky DVD drive but I have now installed a different drive and am still getting the same message. I also tried a SATA DVD drive but it seems that the Windows 7 installation process didn't like (have drivers for) this interface edit:I have previosuly managed to load Windows 7 64-bit RC on this PC but had some problems with stability so thought I would give the 32-bit version a go. I notice that some people have got around this problem by burning the DVD at slow speeds and by using a USB drive to boot from; since I have successfully installed using this DVD, the former doesn't seem relevant and I don't have an 8GB USB drive available. I will try running MemTest86+ on the system on the off-chance.Any explanations / other suggestions . ps - I have just downloaded a new copy of Windows 7 32-bit RC, burned it at 1x and have got the same unhelpful error message

Error 0x80070570 During Install
I have tried looking this up before I posted this, but all I can find is people getting this error from a downloaded copy or from it being burned to a CD. I am getting this error from a bought copy of windows 7 and i am not sure how I can fix it. I have tried everything from getting new harddrives thinking the harddrive was bad, buying a new CD player thinking it wasn't reading it right, and even trading out the windows 7 DvD itself thinking the DvD was bad. I can't figure out why it is saying the files are missing or corrupt when it is being installed from a store bought copy. My system is a custom build computer with more then the what is needed for requirements to install the OS.

Install Error 0x80070570
I'm experiencing a strange problem when installing Windows 7. At the file expansion stage, error code 0x80070570 appears and my installation fails. Funny thing is, I installed 7048 from a DVD burned image 2 weeks ago and it worked fine. Downloaded 7057 and durned the .iso to DVD and when trying to install to formatted partition this error appeared. Since then I can't re-install 7048 either! This is driving me crazy, I've tried different DVD drives, re-burned the .iso's at slow speed, but no luck. Anyone managed to resolve this problem? BTW, I am installing x64 versions..

System Restore Error: 0x80070570
I'm trying to restore to a point a few days ago and keep receiving the error message: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. (0x80070570) I then have the option to close the dialog box or 'run system restore,' which then brings up the error message: Catastrophic failure (0x8000FFFF) Please close System Restore and try again. I've tried several different restore points but receive the same error message on all of them.

Error Code 0x80070570 Installing Win7
I downloaded the Windows 7 32-bit ISO from MSDN and used the iso to install the OS on a VMWare virtual machine with no errors. Then I burned the ISO image to a DVD and booted up my Dell Optiplex 755 to wipe and clean install Windows 7. Everything goes smoothly until the installer starts unpacking files. It sits at 0% for about ten minutes then shows this error... Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, then restart the installation. Error Code: 0x80070570At first I suspected the burn. Since I had installed the OS to a VMWare image by mapping the iso, I know the iso is good. I burned a second disk at the slowest speed setting my machine offers, and tried the second disk with the same results.Any idea how I can overcome this prolen?

0x80070570 Error Code On Install - Easy Solution
If you just want the solution page down .. it's in this blue New shiny windows 7 disk arrives. ...... doesn't want to install ... keep getting error message 0x80070570 when Windows 7 is expanding files: Quote: Windows cannot install required files error 0x80070570 The file may be corrupt or missing.. Make sure all files required for installation are available and restart installation. Spend an hour googling .. people suggest RAM problems .. I know my RAM is good but spend an hour or two running MEMTEST ... Then I see a lot of people reduced to trying to install from a USB key .... great .... borrow my neighbours 4GB Cruzer, follow instructions, ... and bork it in the process of not installing the OS. So eventually I call Microsoft and speak to a very nice lady in India who runs me through a dozen or so workarounds for this .. I'm pressing control +F keys left, right and centre, taking out RAM sticks, disabling EVERYTHING in BIOS. Always the same thing: Quote: Windows cannot install required files error 0x80070570 The file may be corrupt or missing.. Make sure all files required for installation are available and restart installation. So after maybe two hours on the phone with her she decided to report the issue to the second line team. I'm told they will call me back today as they don't work weekends (all this took place Friday up til now). EASY SOLUTION: I don't wait weekends for answers (nor do I usually need to call tech support). One thing we had noticed is that the repair console refused to lauch because it said there was an install in progress. But the support didn't pick up on this and it wasn't until Saturday morning I tried what turned out to be the easiest solution ever. When you see the error "0x80070570 can't access files" on install click --> Cancel ---> you will be returned to the "Install Now" startup screen and - WITHOUT REBOOTING - just re-start the install. Second time round it went smooth as clockwork and installed fine. I have not tried to reproduce this error as I just want a working system: Be interested to know if this easy solution works for anyone else. I informed Microsoft of it when their engineer called today and they are going to look into it. They are aware of the install issue but never heard of this fix before.

Remote Desktop Connection Protocol Error
I just setup my PC with Windows 7 RC Build 7100 (32-bit). I can RDP into out servers with no problems. However, when I go to remote control a user through Terminal Serivces, their session will load for a split second and then I get this error message:" "Because of a protocol error, this session will be disconnected. Please try connecting to the remote computer again." I'm trying to remote control sessions hosted on Axel terminals and windows xp client pc's, I have also tried as suggested replacing the MSTSC.exe and mstcax.dll files from windows vista without success, Is this a Windows 7 bug? I have also noted that this bug affects Windows 7 Pro.

HP Pavilion A810n Drivers
I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate onto my HP Pavilion a810n, but cannot get the XP drivers to work with it. I really only need the network driver to work so I can access the internet. I have tried extracting the drivers to a folder and tried to add it using the "device manager" manually but that does not seem to work. It would also be great to get the motherboard audio/video drivers to work. Not that important since I have an external sound card and an ATI All in wonder Video Card.
