[Windows 7 Ultimate; Intel Quadcore 6600 2.4 GHz; Asus P5E Mainboard, 4GB RAMvia cable to BT Infinity router.]I have BT's Infinity Broadband, but something odd is happening with itand BT say Windows 7 itself is the problem.By way of comparison I have my little Samsung N210 Netbook (Windows 7 Starter edition) running directly beside (see the above specs) my desktop machine. The Netbook is connected wirelessly.I use Advanced System Care Pro, BT Infinity Desktop Help, and CCleaner to keep both machines (otherwise) singing.So. How come my little Netbook averages 25.4 Mb download speedwhile my super-duper desktop averages only 4.79? Those being regularly indicative figures, that's an 81% difference.
I've had a problem for quite some time now. Im unable to play any Dirt game, gta or f1 series because I need to have installed c++ 2005. Problem is when I try to install, I get the following error: Microsoft.VC80.ATL.type="win32".version="8.0.50727.42".publicKeyToken"="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b".processorArchitecture="amd64" Ive tried searching for the error on this website, I found a bunch of stuff but none related to c++ 2005. I tried fixing it but with no sucess at all. What I find wierd is that it says "processorArchitecture=amd64". I might be noob there, but Im using an i5 2500k.
I cannot open or run my projects for school. I keep getting an error saying Visual Studio 2005 is not compatible w/win7 I tried to download the service pack and it won't let me. Help.
I've tried 3 different installation setups but none work. The problem is after running the autorun file and entering the keygen code and accepting the terms and conditions it shows a window saying that directx 9.0c is required and that its not found in the system. But i have directx 11 installed already. (checked using dxdiag from start menu) also to be clear i've also run the directx setup file that comes with the installation package. It installs successfully but then again the same message. My laptop is a recently purchasesd sony vaio core i5 processor, windows 7(64-bit), 4GB RAM and 2GB Amd Radeon 7650 series graphic chip. When i go to technical support on the installation window, it shows that my OS is unknown and under the result it is displayed as fail and so is my display memory. So is my OS not detectable by the autorun file?
I'm looking for drivers for my intel entertainment pc 2005.I recently got it and my friend has set windows 7 on it.Now the sound is not working and i think de other features like radio an tv tuner als don't work.
I am trying to install some software. The installation goes smoothly until the last minute, when the installer tries to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable". This also works, but at the last minute it hangs with one second left to go, thus preventing me from installing the software at all. An error then pops up, saying: "Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft. VC80.ATL,type="win32", version="8.0.50727.762", publicKey Token=" 1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86"'.
I have been receiving and installing updates to my Windows 7 computer for about a year now. So far there have been no problems. About mid year of 2011 I installed SQL Server 2005 Express. Not certain the problem I am having began then or later, like about November 2011.The problem is that Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1 update will not install (file size 431.7MB), any ideas why? Does not appear to effect anything else as my computer appears to be running fine.
Issues with installation of a recently released update from Microsoft
Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (KB970892) error code 6D9E fails to finish and install.... have went to microsoft and attempted to download the files, however installation fails during this process as well.... any suggestions?
Do I need SQL server 2005 express on single machine running Win7 64bit ?The reason I ask is that I keep getting an update notice from Microsoft to install SQL server 2005 express sp4.That installation fails every time.I do not connect other devices to this computer except for a back-up external HDD.
I'm trying to uninstall/reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2005-2008-2010 but a window pops up saying "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." "Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'vcredist' in the box below." I went to my C:UsersLarAppDataLocalTempIXP001.TMP but it didn't work all it says is "The file 'C:UsersLarAppDataLocalTempIXP001.TMP' is not a valid installation package for the product Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable. Try to find the installation package 'vcredist.msi' in a folder from which you can install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable." Mind you it does this for any version I try to uninstall So I rebooted and tried again but the Temp folder wasn't there which was to be expected but now I can't find any vcredist.msi on my computer and it does the same thing in safe mode
recently installed windows 7 with media center. found out today that my extenders for media center 2005 will not work with windows 7. does anyone know of a work around for this? is it possible to install media center 2005 on my windows 7 pc?
I have a crappy E-Bay purchased Webcam, I used some random Sonix drivers last time, and I could've just as easily used a driverscanner, since I was running XP.
However, try as I may, all of the drivers I use, including ones I got from the manufacturer, fail horribly.
Sometimes they install, but AMCAP won't recognize that I have any hardware plugged in, Driver Detective had found a driver, but I can't pay for it. I'd be willing to do almost anything to fix this issue.
I have a HP Pavilion dv6238ea and it had xp on it and the webcam driver i downloaded from hp.com worked fine. Then i formatted it and installed windows 7 in it.
Windows 7 detected the webcam and installed the driver. The webcam shows as ''HP Webcam 1000" and the manufacturer is "Micro Vision" and also the driver is provided by 'Micro Vision'. But it doesn't work. It only shows a black screen.
I downloaded the vista driver from hp.com for my laptop(HP Webcam Driver with Firmware Upgrade for Microsoft Windows Vista HP Pavilion dv6238ea Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)) but it is not able to install. It gives an error.
There is no available driver for windows 7 for this laptop (or any dv6000 series i think) on hp.com
